Debt Unfinished
A black Bugatti came to an halt as the guards on duty opened the various doors from their angles for the occupants to come down majestically. Emmanuel dressed in a white shirt and a black pants step down along with his father who was all dressed in a black suit looking more professional.
“Emmanuel as we get inside the this house,I want to you to do all of what I will say with zero mistakes” he said calmy.
“As far as it won’t go against the deal I made with you and mom, I’m willingly to do it” he replied in that same tone as Sir Joseph nodded and began walking inside the house. The door to the building was opened by the guards who stood at an attention on the entrance.
“Look who we have here”? A man in the same age bracket with Sir Joseph shouted as slowly made his way to them with a glass of wine on this hand.
“Mr Antonio long time no see”! Sir Joseph commented as they shook hands together.
“I was spending all my time flying around the country from one business meeting to another that I can’t remember the last time I had a good time with my family” he explained.
“Is not bad for a man fo work. Whereas there is money,there is no need to attend to your family” Sir Joseph sarcastically said while smiling but Antonio shook is head negatively.
“I don’t do like that man!. My family comes first because they are the sole builders of my landed assets” Antonio said.
“That is why you always remain in that same position of your life” Sir Joseph said in his mind.
“Good evening sir” Emmanuel greeted humbly making Antonio to notice his presence.
“Aah! My boy! You’ve grown so big now. I can’t recognize you outside of here” he hugged him as Emma reciprocated the hug too.
“Let’s have dinner before we move into the main reason of this dinner” Antonio announced as the walk towards the dinning.
“Where is your wife”? Sir Joseph asked.
“She’s supervising the maids in the kitchen. You know women and their different recipes for cooking” he laughed. Emmanuel just smile praying inwardly for the time to fly so he could rest.
“Sir Joseph your welcome” Mrs Antonio greeted immediately she came out from the kitchen with her maids carrying some trays of food.
“Thank you Ruthie”! He smiled.
“Please go and call my daughter. She have to say hi to Sir Joseph” Ruthie ordered a maid who left immediately to carry out the order.
“How is you wife? She asked giving a sign to the amid what began distributing the food.
“She’s good. She extends her greetings to you” he replied.
“Oh that’s good to hear”! She forced a smile knowing the type of wife he has.
The sound of someone marching the stairs followed as Sir looked up with a smile on his face.
“She’s here looking beautiful” He commented as Camila smiled. Emmanuel was all focused on his phone till the voice rang a bell on his head.
“Thank you sir” Camila replied with a smile immediately Emmanuel raised his head,they shouted at once.
“YOU”! They choursed as their parents had a curious expression on their faces.
“Do you children know each other”? Ruthie asked.
“Uhm…yeah! I knew him by mistake” Camila replied still looking at him but he glare at her immediately she said that.
“Son is it true”? Sir Joseph asked.
“Yes! I knew her by mistake” he said simply but Camila scoffed.
“Okay! So… Can you both brief us on her how you got meet” Ruthie said already I’m enjoying the atmosphere.
“C’mon mom! Is not something to write home about” Camila shook her head as she sat down.
“Why”? She asked but Emmanuel interjected.
“I met her at our family hospital early hours of today. I mistook her for a friend so I went behind her and tickle her but I received a slap for that” Emmanuel shrugged.
“Oh my goodness! Camila why will you do that”? Ruthie gasped but the fathers were all laughing.
“Mom! I defended myself. What if he was some pervert who was ready to take advantage of me”? She asked.
“I know you defended yourself but now you have seen him,you have to apologized” Ruthie said.
“I won’t mom” she refused.
“Don’t worry ma’am she will apologize in another way. But for now let’s enjoy the meal” he said with a smirk hanging on his lips as Camila gave her at angry look.
“He took after you. See the way he settled this issue” Antonio praised as Emmanuel could feel his head swelling.

~FEW MINUTES LATER ~
“Thanks for the meal,I enjoyed it a lot” Sir Joseph praise after dropping the glass of wine quitely on the table.
“I’m glad you enjoyed it” she replied.
“Now let’s move to business Joseph” Antonio announced.
“Camila go take a tour with Emma around the house. Emmanuel please don’t feel nauseous, our mansion isn’t large as yours” Ruthie said.
“It does matter about the structure of a house but what matters is the peace that abide in the house. I love the calmness of this environment” he said politely.
“Wow! That was a good quote. Were did you read it from”? Camila asked.
“When you apologize I will tell you” he smiled but she hissed out aloud before walking out
“They look good together” Sir Joseph teased.
“No!no! Don’t go there, Camila won’t marry someone she’s doesn’t love be it poor or rich” Ruthie announced.
“Why”? Sir Joseph asked who seems interested in the topic.
“Because my wife and I trained them like that” Antonio replied.

≈MUMBAI CITY~8 PM≈
The table is set for dinner but Arya is in her room reading her butts off. She was a strong devoted medical and aspiring surgical student who never played with her studies for a day. She has the dream of becoming a great surgeon in this life so that she could fulfill the promise she made her best friend a decade ago.
“Arya! Food is ready”! MiSh|ti screamed from the dinning but Arya groaned.
“I’m not hungry mom”! She shouted back. She was going through her laptop writing some important medical terms and definitions that only her knows of.
“Arya come down here now or I will bring you out myself”! Her mom threatened. Knowing the type of mother she has,she couldn’t help but groaned in defeat. Shutting her laptop down,she dragged her feet to the dinning.
“Where is everyone”? She asked seeing the house looking so empty.
“Are you asking me or I should be the one asking”? MiSh|ti rolled her eyes.
“Hey! I’m back”!! Rishi screamed dragging manique along with her.
“Welcome sis” Arya greeted taking the manque from her.
“Mom please I’m hungry I need to fill this little stomach of mine” she yawned landing on the couch lazily.
“I will daughter but I need to do something first” MiSh|ti said giving her a knowing smile before walking to where she sat and landed a heavy knock on her head.
“Aah! Mom it hurt. Why did you hit me so hard like this! She winced in pains rubbing her head.
“Where are your manners young lady? You didn’t greet me and you are requesting for a plate of food. Is that the way your father and I trained you”? She asked as Arya rolled her eyes sitting on a chair behind her.
“I’m sorry mom. I didn’t realize that you were here…”
“Are trying to insulate that I’m too short for you to see”? She asked angrily pulling her ears.
“I’m sorry mom! I didn’t mean it that way”!! She screamed but MiSh|ti wasn’t listening to her.
“Mom you will injure her” Mulan rushed inside pulling his mom to himself.
“Is better she learn her lesson in the hard way. She didn’t greet me when she came instead she was requesting for a plate of food” MiSh|ti explained.
“I’m sorry mom forgive me” Rishi apologized but her her mom scoffed as she entered the kitchen.
“Dad haven’t come back this late. Why is he not home?” Arya asked suddenly.
“You mean dad is not yet back”? Mulan asked almost getting worried.
“Yes… I haven’t call him” she replied.
“Wait I will call him”! Rishi said. She brought out her phone to dial his number but it rang to their hearing.
“He is around here” Mulan said as he walked to the door. As he opened it,he saw his father sitting on the floor groaning in pains .
“Dad! Dad! He screamed as he kneel down closer to him.
“What happened to you dad”? He asked worriedly by this time his two sisters were already out.
“Dad what happened to him”? Arya asked but Pa Oh just smile.
“I fell on my way home” he replied weakly. Mulan lifted him up and took him inside.
“What happened to him” MiSh|ti asked immediately she saw Mulan carrying her husband..
“He fell on his way home” he replied.
“Arya go and get the first aid kit. It’s time to prove your calling” Rishi said as Arya ran to her room bringing the first aid kit along with her. She began treating his wound.
“How on earth did to fall” MiSh|ti asked already in tears.
“C’mon woman you shouldn’t cry because of this minor injury. I was very excited when I saw my promotion letter and the country we will be relocating to. I couldn’t concentrate so I slipped and fell” he explained.
“Even at that! Do you want to live me here alone”? She cried but Pa Oh smiled.
“I’m not dieing yet. Even if I will die,I will die together with you my angel” he said as MiSh|ti blushed wiping her tears again.
“So if you two die,who will take care of us”? Mulan asked.
“Mm! By then you all will have a family of your own. That means we will die at a very old age” he replied dramatically. His children smile at once.
“So dad! Which country are we relocating to”! Arya asked after dressing the wounds.
“You know when I was writing the examination for the promotion. I pray to God that he will touch the heart of my superiors so that we will relocate to a country that will be beneficial to everyone and Allah did it.” He sat up as his children his were filled with curiosity.
“As God may have it,I was promoted to the manager of our company in ….”

“Here you go”. Soma said as she handed the items to the customer after tiling them in the machine.
“Come next time” she waved as the customer who smiled in returned. She checked her wrist watch she sighed because it was time for her to go home.
“Wendy I’m done for today. Continue from where is stop. See ya tomorrow ” she said to her colleague as she went to the staff room to change her clothes. After changing her clothes,she went straight to the manager’s office to receive her pay.
“Here is your money” the old man said as he shifted the envelope to her. She opened and counted it to make sure it was the agreed on.
“Is complete sir” she said when she finished counting the money.
“Okay” the Old man replied.
“Goodnight sir” she greeted and left his office.
“Oh my God! The money is reducing then my mom and I will be set free from that wicked man”! She squirreled happily as she began play walking on the road. She can’t wait to give all the money to him. Seeing what her mother and her are suffering from her so-called step father brought tears to her eyes but she waved it off still smiling.
As she was going through the lonely street that lead to where she resides, she felt the presence of someone trailing her but she didn’t care because that person have been trailing her for more than a year now. When she reported to the cops they told her that it was just an illusion and the closed the case warning her not to come back to there.
While jogging as she walked,she entered a bungalow who was the house she was residing. On entering to the sitting room,she heard the voice of someone crying it was her mother. She ran to the sitting room and was welcomed with a heart breaking sight. Her step father was about to murder her mother.
“Where is the completion of my money”? He asked like a psycho path who got released from the psychiatric home.
“I have it here” she screamed as the white man left her mother walking towards her.
“Where is it”? He asked. She dipped her hands into her school bag and brought out a big envelope which contains some bundle of dollars. She handed it over to him. He snatched it from her and counted it.
“I have completed the ten million naira. Can…you let her go now please”? She pleaded in a shaking voice.
“You have try daughter” he stress the word daughter.
“But I won’t let her go” he said.
“Why”? She asked.
“Because the money your mom owes me is thirty million naira and when converted to dollars, it’s eight two thousand,one hundred and ninety one thing dollars. For your hard work,I will give you two Füçking months to pay off her debt. Falling to that, I will gift your Füçking father her head for a gift this Christmas ” he threaten to left.
Soma couldn’t feel her legs anymore because she fell on her butt shedding tears of agony and frustration. When she thought that they have gotten their freedom after suffering from numerous abuses from him,he came up with a debt that she can’t pay in two months.
“Mom! Is he lying”? She whispered as her mom bow her head in disgrace and shame.
“He is… saying the truth my child” she confirmed as Soma fainted at a spot.
