Emery’s hands shook with the gun in her hands as she stared at her sister give up the ghost with blood dripping out of her tummy.
She actually shot her on that part.
Hayes’s eyes kept widening in horror.
“Emery.. you …” He couldn’t even make proper usage of his words. The gun flew from Emery’s hand and she turned away and ran crazily from the bridge without looking back.
“Madelyn! Madelyn! Don’t die on me! Madelyn!”
He screamed, rushing to car to his car. How could Emery be so heartless to end her sister’s life?
“Open your darn eyes Madelyn!!!”
“Madelyn!!”

The news about Madelyn’s death and Emery’s disappearance spread like wild fire. And right now, Kingsley was on his fourth bottle.
He’s been crying and drinking not even know what suits him anymore.
“That’s enough Kings! You can’t keep sucking up this way!” Ann and Lily chorused but Kingsley wouldn’t listen as he drank from the bottle again.
“She was my friend! I’ve never even gotten to get closer to her more. We just met few weeks ago after our high school and now this!” He shouted frustratingly.
“Why the eff is life so unfair?!”
“Emery will really pay for this. She’ll surely pay” Lily sniffed back her tears and Ann sighed.
“Life is so cruel!! Ahh!!!” Kingsley screamed and threw one of the bottles, smashing it on the wall that moment.

••A WEEK LATER~A BURIAL SITE••
The place was filled with some murmuring while some were crying. Just at the right hand corner was Tessa and the boys. They were putting on black clothes.
Hayes was standing in front of where Madelyn is being buried and he couldn’t hold back his tears.
“You were always a good girl Madelyn. You were never like your sister. I wished you never returned back to Canada. You should I’ve just stayed where you are and continue your music career there” He muttered and silence followed next. Slowly, a threw a floor down to her coffin and stepped back.
He started walking away from the burial site and the people started taking turns to pay their last respect to her.
Tessa payed her last respect and went after Hayes with the boys.
Kingsley came in with tears in his eyes and a flower in his hands. Her birthday was up and coming and he was planning on giving her birthday surprise but now she was no more.
If he had just met her soonest.
“May you find your peace Madelyn. Love you my dear friend” He whispered and threw his flowers too as tears fell out of his eyes.
Ann was behind him, trying to console him as they returned back.
Soon, everyone started leaving the burial site after the burial ceremony was finished and Madelyn was currently being covered up with the sand.
The place was dead silent when a figure came out of the nowhere from across the road. She was wearing a black scarf and dark shades to prevent herself from being seen.
She was also wearing black too.
“At least you were buried in Canada and mom couldn’t come over because she didn’t hear the news. You’re still staying here with me dear sis. Rip to you” The person said and suddenly started laughing like a lunatic.
Almost immediately, her covers blew off and her face came to view. She got mad and swing an arm backwards and made to punch whoever it was but she saw Lydia firing daggers at her.
“How could you kill your own sister? What’s wrong with you? Is that how you’re gonna kill me too?” Lydia snapped at her.
Emery groaned and covered her mouth quickly, taking her to a dark corner before someone would see them together.

••HAYES’S MANSION••
The whole family just returned home in Hayes’s car.
“Nanny Tessa, who was the person we went for her burial?” Liam was the first to throw questions as they stepped out of the car.
Tessa watched Hayes’s retreating figure as he walked straight into the house without speaking to any of them.
“Is dad mad at us?” Nathan asked too and she sighed, bending to their level.
“We went to bury someone we dearly know and daddy isn’t mad at any of you two. He just needs space for now. Can you give him that?” She asked and they both nodded sadly.
“I love you boys” She said.
“I love you too” Nathan replied and she faced Liam who only blinked.
“You know I h@të you” He rolled his eyes a d she chuckled.
“You know you love me” She smiled and hugged them dearly.
Liam smiled secretly.

NIGHT*
Tessa was in bed, having time with her phone when Hayes came out of the bathroom. His hair dripping wet and his six packs becoming visible. He was looking so d@mn hot and yet cold.
He didn’t even spare her a glance as he went to his walk-in closet to select his favorite pajamas to sleep.
Tessa dropped her phone and covered herself properly with the duvet as she waited for him to return but he didn’t show up.
She stood up from the bed and made to walk but then she felt heavy. She didn’t understand what’s happening her but for the past days, she was feeling heavy and she gained more weight.
‘Why is he taking so long to come out?’ she thought and settled to go in.
She met him on a couch in the walk-in closet, he was lying there peacefully.
‘Why was he sleeping here?’ She thought again and went closer to him.
“Love” She called and he opened his eyes to meet hers.
He sat up right immediately.
“The bed is big enough for us. Why do I feel like you’re avoiding me?” She muttered sadly, trying not to cry but Hayes saw her expression quickly.
He didn’t even realized that he was avoiding her all through. He just wanted some space after what he had witnessed a week ago.
He h@tës seeing people die in front of him and that has caused nightmares to him sometimes in his sleep.
“Was I? I’m sorry wifey” He muttered and she chuckled when he called her that name.
“C’mon, we aren’t even married yet” She rolled her eyes and he smiled.
He went on his knees immediately and stretched an invisible ring to her. Tessa looked at him confusedly.
“I don’t have a ring right now but I want you to become mine for ever Tessa. Much more than a nanny to my boys. I want you to be my wife whom I’ll love and cherish for eternity.”
He said those words and Tessa was already blinking her tears with blush.
“Will you marry me Tessa Thompson?” He proposed and this time, she bursted the tears she’s been holding, covering her blushed cheeks.
Was the Almighty Hayes Flynn proposing to her??
One wouldn’t believe that a time will come like this.
“Yes. Yes, I will marry you, Hayes Flynn” She accepted and he held her hand and kissed it before standing up.
They held each other before planting kisses on their lips.
“You’re looking sick these days… Are you fine?” He whispered, leaning away from her.
“I don’t know too. I’ve been feeling weird these days” She replied.
“Hmm” He smirked naughtily, roaming his eyes around her body like he was inspecting her.
“Something is on the way, mama” He winked sëxily, chuckling so hard and she frowned upon seeing how he was chuckling.

“Xavier got arrested”
“That isn’t what I’m saying here Emery! You Fuçking killed your younger sister!” Lydia yelled in shock and Emery gnashed.
She ran to her, pinning her on the wall as she held Lydia’s neck tight.
“Don’t Fuçking speak to me that way! Remember who owns you Lydia! You’re a puppet that I can kill anytime!” Emery yelled back and Lydia gulped.
Funnily, she wasn’t even sweating or choking like a normal person. Emery smirked and released her as she walked to prepare a syringe needle.
Lydia stood watching her till she returned back with an injection needle.
“You can’t end me this way Emery! No!” Lydia snapped and she smiled devilishly.
“I’m your creator Lydia. I made you! Remember that you aren’t Lavanya! I took part of Lavanya’s flesh to yours! You’re merely a human! You’re a robot with half of Lavanya in you!” Emery shouted and like tornado, she shoved the needle into Lydia’s neck.
‘Deactivated’
Something beep from inside of Lydia’s body a d she dropped dead like a chicken on the floor.
Truly, it was all Emery’s doings. She created Lydia out of Lavanya’s flesh and robotics. She even gave her a spacious life like a normal human because she needed to test her with Hayes. She had more purpose to serve for her but now she was taking the lead over her and behaving like the boss which Emery had to get rid off quickly.
“You’re a goner, Lydia” She said and suddenly started laughing.
Laughing so hard like a maniac.

Emery returned back home secretly and started rushing to pack her bags. She had already book flight and ticket to travel Cyprus after all that had happened.
She was bringing out all her bags out from her room, going down the stairs when ten policemen rushed inside, aiming different guns at her.
Hayes actually placed watch eyes around the house thinking that she might return and try to run away.
Emery shifted back in shock, raising her hands in surrender. She turned and made to run to the backdoor bit then one of them shot her from the back.
“You’re under arrest for the murder of Madelyn Brown.”
She wasn’t even chanced to pass out peacefully 😂 as they took her away from the house in her bloody state.
“Just kill me already!!!” She screamed as they handcuffed her before taking her into their van.

Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to month..
••HIGH PRIEST CHURCH••
“Hayes Flynn, do you take Tessa Thompson as your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health? For poor and rich?” The priest asked.
The altar was silent and Tessa gave her lips a gentle bite. They were actually getting married. Everyone was present with happy smiles on their faces.
“Yes, I do” Hayes smiled, not willing to take his eyes off from his bride.
“Tessa Thompson, do you take Hayes Flynn as your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health? For poor or rich?”
“Say yes!!” Liam and Nathan chorused happily at once and Tessa chuckled with teary eyes.
“Yes, I do” She said in slow mo.
“Whoa!!!”
“You may now kiss the bride” The priest announced.
Hayes leaned into Tessa and gently opened her veil with sëxy smile. He snaked his hands around her waist as they shared a kiss passionately.
Everyone accepted their fate. Natalie and Dexter got engaged late last month after he found out he was responsible for her pregnancy.
That was it, they were happily married. It started rough but ended smoothly.
Love conquers all. Love suffers long but at the end it will always win.

EPILOGUE~A MONTH LATER•
Hayes was in the living room, scrolling through a magazine with his funny looking spectacles.
Liam and Nathan got into highschool after they graduated from elementary.
He was still scrolling when Tessa rushed in excitedly.
“Love, guess what?!”” She squealed and Hayes looked up at her as he removed his glasses.
“What, you’re having a big butt?” He said silly and she spanked him.
“No silly. I’m few weeks gone!” She exclaimed and Hayes carried her immediately.
“We’re both pregnant wifey. Thank you” He kissed her and she smiled. He wanted to make the kiss longer but she chuckled as she pushed him away.
“Bring me down honey thing” She rolled his eyes but instead he started walking her upstairs to their room.
“Love! Love!” She flung her legs in the air dramatically with laughter.
“I think we should make it triplets love bug” He winked naughtily at her and she blushed.
“I love you mine”
“Love you more than a million mocha” He smiled as he took her to their room fully.
