{The Sting of Pain}
” I won’t kill you. Get up and fight me like a champ, let’s dance.” Shadow said, and the guard stared at him unbelievably.
He used the remaining strength left in his body to get up. Immediately he got back on his feet, he tightened his grip on the sword viciously and attempted to stab Shadow again.
This time, Shadow wasn’t able to dodge and it got his arm, giving him a slight cut.
Shadow groaned, holding and looking down at the arm as it began bleeding. Ít got him infuriated, but when he looked up he saw the sword about to strike his head.
He went out of the way, causing the sword to strike the ground. He went behind the bodyguard, and before he could turn back, he gave him a stab, th-ru_sting the sword fully into his back.
Thé guard’s mouth fell open. He breathed his last, then he fell to the ground with the sword sticking out of his back.
Shadow left him and went through the exit door to find Sylvia.
♣ MEANWHILE ∞ UNDERGROUND TUNNELS ♣
Ever since Sylvia went through the exit, she has been crossing through endless tunnels, extremely determined to locate her targets and kill them at all costs.
She stopped when she met two tunnels in front of hr, wondering which one she should go through. She wanted to take the right, but her conscience wasn’t allowing her. She decided to take the left, but again had a strange feeling about it.
Her instincts are never wrong. If she feels awry about something, it always means that it’s bad luck.
When she turned back, she saw a sword coming right for her chest. She went to the side and watched as the sword th-ru_sted into the air, then returned to one to its holder.
It was one of the floor mafiosos, the female one.
She felt another presence coming from behind her. She bent down, and the male mafioso flew above her, coming with a sword to the female mafioso.
Their eyes widened. But before he could be stopped, he landed and accidentally th-ru_sted the sword through her heart. She fell dead, and the mafioso trembled as he stared at her corpse.
” You floor mafiosos are no match for a supreme boss like me. You’ll forever remain weak, unworthy and inexperienced, just like your leader, Thorn.” Sylvia scoffed behind him, then she grabbed the sword and killed him swiftly.
He fell dead, then Shadow luckily appeared in one of the tunnels in front of her, panting heavily.
” Come on. I’ll grab the girl, you grab the boy.” Sylvia said and began to drag the female corpse out.
” Wait… What about the chief? Why do we need their corpses?” Shadow asked.
” To use their faces as masks so that we can penetrated into Thorn’s empire and take him down. This was the goal of the mission all along.” Sylvia told her, then she exited with the corpse she dragged.
Shadow grabbed the male’s corpse and carried it out of the tunnel.
Chief Soleh dropped to the ground after they were gone, holding his bursting chest with nervous breathing. He had been hiding in the surface of the tunnel above them all along, and they didn’t notice.
” They’ve left with the mafiosos corpses.” He spoke into a phone, waiting patiently for a reply.
” Fools. They finally got into my trap. I’ll be expecting them in my empire soon.” Thorn’s cold and chilly voice came through, along with an evil laughter.
” What about my pay? You already promised 800 billion euros.” Chief Soleh reminded.
” One of my mafiosos is on his way right now. He’ll soon get to you with your reward in a few moments.” Thorn replied, and Chief Soleh wore a reassuring smile.
It was short-lived because he got shot in the head immediately, and he went down. Acid appeared while holding a gun and stood above him with an evil smirk.
” Silver Bullet… It’s on. Let the battle begin.”
♣ SILVER BULLET ♣
They got back to the empire late at night. They’ve submitted the corpses to Sandy since Foster is strangely not around.
Sylvia had a quick bath and changed into a transparent white nightie. Shadow on the other hand peeled off the cloth from his upper body and left it bare, so he’s wearing only black shorts.
They weren’t paying any attention to each other. But as fate would have it, they were walking and bumped into each other. They stood still and stared down at their bodies.
Lust, temptation and desire began to take control over them. Sylvia’s heart began racing ad she witnessed his perfect abs, and Shadow was looking hungrily at her B@@bs through the transparent nightie.
Slowly, they began to look up, and their eyes met at the same time. They just stared speechlessly at each other.
Silence was reigning dominantly among them. The only noise existing were the crickets at night.
” When you returned from the accident, what did you do with Black? What exactly did you share with him?” Shadow found his voice, but Sylvia kept staring blankly.
If she should tell him that they kissed, how would he take it? She Füçkin’ kissed with an enemy of the empire, thinking that it was him.
She turned away guiltily, folding and rubbing her arms in thoughts. Shadow came closer and pressed his tall body against her back, causing her breath to seize.
His hands slowly found their way to her arms, and he grazed her soft skin carefully with his fingers. It made her feel sensitive under his touch and she didn’t move away.
” Tell me what you did with Black when I wasn’t here.” He whispered moe seductively into her ear, his manly breath fanning her ear lobes.
His fondling was awakening all the womanly senses of s*x within her. She couldn’t even think clearly, he was making her lose her mind.
She turned to him, holding his shoulders and gazing deeply into his eyes. Shadow looked back in the same way, locking eyes firmly with her.
” If I tell you what we did… Will you promise not to get mad? No matter what?” She spoke hesitantly, and Shadow nodded.
” We… We… Actually, he… I didn’t mean to do it, but…” Sylvia kept muttering, and Shadow looked at her anxiously.
” Calm down and gather your words perfectly. Even if it takes all night, I’ll be patient.” He said considerately, and she gulped.
” He… Grabbed me, pinned me to the wall, and then he…”
She paused to look at the expression on his face, and it wasn’t great.
” …Kissed me.” She completed her words.
Shadow said nothing. His eyes were blank, but his feelings were not. He felt so stupified and pained, like his heart was getting punctured by a thousand needles.
” How dare you?” He said in an accusing manner, leaving her with a dumfounded look.
” What do you mean? I was the victim here Shadow. I swear I didn’t do it intentionally. I tried to break it but…”
” For how long were you kissing?” He interrupted, and she went silent.
Shadow chuckled, grasped his hair and turned his back against her. Sylvia tried touching him, but he immediately turned back snd held her hands tightly, making her gasp.
He brought her to the bed and made her fall on it, then he stayed above her and pinned her arms above her head. He brought his face closer, looking angry and dominant.
Sylvia gulped again, not daring to look away or blink. She’s the one that’s normally this vicious, but tonight it seems like he has the upper hand.
” He had no right to touch you. He had no right to be anywhere near you. Why didn’t you tell me? Just why?!” He shouted, and she was taken aback by his loudness.
” The last time I checked… I specifically told you that we had nothing to do together in this empire. We’re just partners.” She told him.
He had my exact face. You couldn’t have detected that it wasn’t me, and yet you went ahead to kiss him. It only meant that you actually have feelings for me.” He retorted.
Sylvia tried to free herself from him, but he pinned down her hands more and came even dangerously closer to her face. Sylvia stopped moving because if she did, their lips would definitely touch.
” Why are you doing this to me? It was just an ordinary mistake! I don’t love you!” She shouted at him.
” You’re very good at hurting people’s feelings. You don’t love me, but have you ever thought about how I feel about you? Have you ever thought about the number of times I’ve held myself back from kissing you, only for you to kiss my doppelganger?” He growled.
” Shadow… Please stop. You’re hurting me.” Sylvia complained, but he only held her hands more tightly, causing her to wince.
” Kiss me. Kiss me right now, and I’ll let you go free.” He said, and her heart skipped beats.
She felt goosebumps all over, and butterflies invaded her stomach. She couldn’t believe he just said that.
” Kiss me… Diamond.” He said more persuasively, but she closed her eyes, shaking her head negatively.
” Don’t do this.” She whispered uneasily, unable to breathe because of her pounding heart.
Despite her refusal, Shadow went ahead and impatiently crashed his lips on hers. He started to kiss her forcefully, not giving any breathing space.
He made sure to slide his tongue in deeply and taste all the parts of her mouths, all the parts that he never got to taste. His energy was incredible as he ate her lips up like any other woman would’ve loved.
Sylvia tried to resist, facing away from him occasionally. He would hold her neck gently and bring her face back, to continue playing with her lips.
Sylvia’s heartbeats escalated abnormally, which caused her to have a heart attack. She started trying to gasp for air, but Shadow wasn’t sparing her life and kept pushing his tongue deeper into her throat.
Her whimpering and struggling could be heard, but it wasn’t loud enough to attract anyone to help her. She opened her eyes widely, battling against life and death.
As time went by, her condition degraded. Sylvia stopped breathing closed her eyes, going limps in his arms.
Shadow noticed her stillness and broke the kiss, looking at her. He left her hands also, but she didn’t move. He got scared and his eyed widened,
” Sylvia, no!” He muttered fearfully, then he listened to her heart and saw that it stopped beating.
He stared in horror at her lifeless body. He then tried to breathe air into her and smacked her face gently, but she didn’t respond.
” Sylvia, stop scaring me! Wake up!” He shouted, but no reply.
He got down from the bed and carried her in bridal style, going into the bathroom with her. He dropped her into the bathtub and opened up the water to start pouring directly on her head.
Sylvia came back to life, opening her yes with a loud gasps. She coughed an wiped the after off her face, and Shadow turned off the water.
” Sylvia, are you okay?” He said and tried to touch her arm, it she gave him a thunderous slap immediately, which caused him to stagger.
She stood with violence and grabbed his head, banging it on the wall. She did that repeatedly and didn’t stop till she saw blood, then she threw him to the ground.
” How could you be such an animal? Wee you intentionally trying to murder me? I could’ve died because of your psycho attitude!” She roared at him with rage.
Shadow groaned, then he got up and stood on all fours, panting as his blood dripped from his head to the ground.
” I’m… Sorry.” He muttered weakly, but she left him angrily to keep bleeding by himself.
He slumped afterwards, groaning as he regretted his actions inwardly.
♣ NEXT DAY ∞ RESEARCH LAB ♣
The masks have been done already, so Sylvia went to get them. She met the tech experts working expertly behind their systems as usual.
Sandy stood, placing an arm behind her and holding the two masks with the other arm.
She went to collect just one, the female one. When she left to the door, she met Shadow in the way.
She turned furious and pushed him out of the way, striding off fastly. Shadow sighed and went to take the mask from Sandy, leaving as well.
Sandy sighed, then she looked down at her arm. The venom bite got worse, and the green colour was spreading fast. It had infected the whole part of her arm.
She has tried everything to get rid of it, but nothing’s working. She can’t beat to let anyone see it, or they might decide to destroy her before she malfunctions again.
She saw Treynor coming in and quickly hid the infected arm.
” Hey, Sandy. Are you free right now?” He asked.
” Yeah. What do you need?” She answered.
” I wanna see you for a moment, real quick.” He informed, then he took her out of the lab.
♣ AFTERNOON ∞ SWIMMING POOL ♣
Shadow was wondering about aimlessly by the swimming pool’s edge, deeply in thoughts over Sylvia.
She hasn’t talked to him for hours now. It’s messing with him mentally, but he deserves it. He almost killed her anyways.
He fisted his hands, then sat on the edge of the swimming pool, staring at his reflection in the water. He saw a strange figure behind him and looked back, only to see a female mafioso.
She smiled cheerfully, sitting beside him at the edge of the pool. He ignored her and returned to staring at himself.
” Hi, I’m Hazard. I couldn’t help but notice your restlessness ever since you got here. Are you new?” She asked, but he stood and started to walk away.
Her smile went down, but she quickly stood and went after him. He groaned and turned back when he noticed she was following him.
” Just mind your business and let me be, okay?” He said grudgingly.
” I would never allow a fellow mafioso be so troubled, especially a handsome one like you. Please tell me your problems even if you won’t tell me your name. I promise I won’t judge.” She said and gave a cute puppy face, and he sighed.
He looked around, seeing that no one was watching them. He then dragged her back to the pool and made them sit by each other.
Hazard felt so happy, feeling excited in her mind. She was finally bonding with the handsome guy that’s always with Bosslady.
She wants to seduce him. She wants to learn more about why Bosslady recruited him, especially how big he is down there. She bit her lip naughtily at the thought as she stared at his d_1ck, getting wet underneath.
A gorgeous hunk like him can’t be for the boss alone. She must taste him as well and know how he’d feel inside her.
” I just have… Personal issues. It’s about love, but I don’t think I’m going about it in the right way. I think I’m being too hasty.” He stated.
Hazard wasn’t listening. She was drooling and staring hardly at the space between his legs, getting haunted with desire and naughty thoughts.
She suddenly got an idea. She stood up, and his eyes followed her curiously.
” I’ll be right back. I forgot something in the empire.” She lied, then began to walk away.
She just took a few steps when she pretended yo slip amd fall. Shadow instinctively grabbed her, but she pulled him down to herself, causing them to fall into the poll together.
They stood in the water, panting as water dripped from their bodies. Hazard was still hugging him tightly.
” You saved me. Thank you so much!” She spoke, then he tried to separate himself from her when he saw Sylvia staring at them from the distance.
She has a pale look on. It’s like she’s not even breathing at all. Her body is shaking as well, but she doesn’t know it.
Hazard saw Sylvia as well and smirked knowingly. She pretended to slip in the water again and made Shadow fall under her, then she fell upon him and caused their lips to meet each other.
Sylvia’s eyes went wide upon seeing the ‘accidental’ kiss. She stopped thinking and froze like a statue.
Her heart hurted so much, and she fisted her hands. She could feel the hurtful sting, the sting of pain as she stared at their lips.
