“Jerome!!” She quickly hugged him, and buried her face on his chest as she still felt scared.
“It’s okay, Janella, there’s nothing to fear anymore. I’m here now” Jerome’s comforting voice was heard calmly as he hugged her back protectively.
Jerome actually just arrived the school premises that moment, and after he parked his car, he got out and started heading to the hall where the concert was taking place.
He then brought out one of his phones to call his friends and know if there were at the party already so he could go join them where they are. But he hadn’t even dialed the number when he suddenly heard someone screaming for help.
Trying to find where that voice was coming from, Jerome began to walk faster than he was walking, and when he finally got closer, he heard the voice again and it was none other than Janella’s.
He couldn’t believe it as his eyes almost left their sockets when he heard that it was Janella that was screaming for help.
What the f*ck! His own Janella?!!
Who is that déad anîmal with such guts to try to harm his woman?!
It was as if Jerome flew because he himself didn’t know when he got there and landed the first punch on the guy’s face. The punch was so hard and sweet that the guy staggered and instantly let go of Janella before he could stop himself from doing so.
Spitting out blôod and wanting to retaliate, but Jerome spared him no chance. He blessed him with another one and then what followed afterwards was hell.
“Janella?” Jerome called softly as he placed his head on hers, still protecting her that way. Anyway, Janella didn’t answer him, she was just still hugging him quietly. “You’re safe now, okay?” Jerome said again, hugging her tighter to himself. It was as if he should just carry her into his body and shield her more that he was.
Dman! Her heart was thudding so loud that Jerome could even hear its beats. And the way she hugged him and buried her face on his chest, Jerome knew just how much she got scared.
Wow! He couldn’t believe that this feisty and ever ready to beàt or threaten someone was this soft.
Well, what happened just few minutes ago isn’t something that a lady like her should be strong enough to withstand and act all feisty.
He’s very sure Janella tried to fight back because there is no f*cking way she’d just let that anîmal drag her like and try to have his way with her.
He’s sure she must have tried to do something, but it didn’t work and that’s where fear crept in.
No one told him that she tried to do something, he knows that by himself. Because the Janella he knows wouldn’t just succvmb like that and start getting scared.
By the the way, what was she doing there alone? Wasn’t she supposed to be together with her friends? Didn’t they come or what?

Lenora whose talk on the phone with Janella was cut abruptly, is seen in her car panicking as she wonders what went wrong.
She knows and she’s very sure that it wasn’t the network that caused it, but something she can’t really tell right at the moment.
Because when Janella stopped talking to her, she could hear her talk to someone else, and it sounded like she was yelling at the person or something like that. She couldn’t really get what Janella said because after she heard her yell, the call ended and that was it.
“F*cking get the h*ll out of the way!!” Lenora yelled, honking crazily at the car before her.
She’s right now on the way, driving insanely in order to get to school as quick as she can.
If she could maneuver all the cars before her, then she wouldn’t hesitate to do so because she bádly wants to get to school and find out what happened to her best friend.
Actually, she couldn’t keep to the time that she and her friends agreed on because of her mom.
Her mom wasn’t feeling too fine and it just started this evening. She just couldn’t leave her all alone because there was no one else in the house except her.
She tried to reach Janella and Alexa to tell them that she’d be a bit late, but it was like the network planned to make them miserable tonight. Because she could neither reach Janella nor Alexa, same way Janella couldn’t reach any of them.
“I hope everything is alright with you, sweetheart. Please be safe and okay for me” Lenora conversed with herself, driving crazier and faster than ever.”Please sweetheart” She said worriedly, sighing and hissing at the d@mn cars that wouldn’t move fast.
°°°BACK TO THE HALL～☆
The Pink Stars Girls can be seen on the stage already because the show is about to begin.
Lisandra can also be seen looking around at every corner of the hall, searching for Jerome. That’s actually what she’s been doing since the show was about to begin.
Jerome is supposed to be here already, and since she gave him a VVIP card, he’s supposed to be sitting where he’s meant to sit, together with the other VVIPs.
Why isn’t he here and sitting there yet? Didn’t he come?
Wait, did he take her invitation for granted?
Or he probably just wants to come late?
However, the show still went on whether or not Lisandra was happy. Or the person she’s expecting is yet to come.

After what seemed like a forever hug, Jerome was the one who made the first move to pull away from the hug, but it seemed Janella wasn’t ready to break the hug.
Her hands were still tightly wrapped around Jerome, her face was even still buried in there.
Wait, what?!
Jerome was uttertly speechless!
He cannot believe this same Janella who was threatening and pinching him the other day like a crab because he hugged and kissed her forehead, is the same person that is refusing to break the hug right now.
Just how much did that fòol scare his Janella?
He must have gotten to her weakest side, for her to still be this way.
But….why is she still this scared?
Has….wait, could she have experienced something similar, or well, something like this before? Because….oh shít!
What if he didn’t come just in time?
What if that mòron had had his way with before he came?
What if he decided not to come at all? Would she have been saved by someone else?
What if there was no one at all to save? her….
Oh how much he wants to go back and beàt the living darkness out of that….whoever he is.
Well, this isn’t over because he’s going to get to the bottom of this. He’ll sure do that for Janella.
Anyway, Jerome quickly stopped imagining all those things and finally, he managed to break the hug, and he immediately kissèd her forehead, then her hair.
He didn’t do this with fear but with confidence, and he did it with so much love and affection. Unlike the other day he was just asked by his daughter to make Miss Ella feel better.
Surprisingly, Janella felt a lot better after what he did. Like the fear was all of a sudden gone.
Is it because of what Jerome just did to her? She doesn’t know, but what she’s sure of right now is that she feels way better.
“Thank you” Was all that Jerome heard her soft, sweet voice say. Jerome smiled hard and just stared at her beautiful makeup face.
Yes, he could see it very well because they weren’t at that dark place. Where they were was bright, it was close to the dance hall so there were lights.
Only God knows how happy he feels, having this beautiful unexpected moment with her.
Only God knows how happy he feels to know Janella willingly and genuinely hugged him, even though it wasas a result of what happened to her minutes ago. But he knows that hug was something he cannot even explain.
Even though he was the first to break from the hug, he really didn’t want to stop hugging her. But he needed to look at her face and be sure that she was really okay.
“Are you okay now? You wanna go home or…”
“Home please. I think it’s party over for me already” Janella said and Jerome chuckled.
Yep, she’s definitely okay now and back to the Janella he knows.
Bringing out his phone, Jerome dialed Brien and he picked up immediately.
Though Brien had called already before Jerome did, but it looks like his phone was on silence because he was surprised to see missed calls from Brien.
“Hey man, where are you? Aren’t you in school yet? We’ve been calling and looking for you” Brien immediately spoke.
“I am in school already, but I can’t join you right now. I have something/someone more important to take care of right now. You both have fun without me, hmm?” He said, and without much talk, the call was disconnected.
After hearing what Jerome said about having someone more important to take care of, Janella couldn’t stop herself from blushing.
“Shall we?” Jerome asked with a sigh of relief. He checked the time on his phone before pocketting it, and he realized it was still very much early.
Anyway, Janella nodded as she tucked her hair behind her ear.
“I want to hold your hand, can I? And….don’t say no, else I’m gonna carry you like a groom carrying his bride” Jerome said seriously and Janella’s mouth was left open a bit.
She just can’t believe this guy at all!
Can’t he be serious for once? Even if it’s just for a day?
Wait, has this guy ever been serious with anything?
Just when you think he’s starting to act serious, then boom! He blows the bomb.
“So….?” Jerome asked, stretching out his hand and just like the other day, Janella gave him her hand without arguing, shocking him for the second time today.
°°°BIG MOMMA’S HOME～☆
Big Momma was surprised to see that Janella was back home so early. Thought she left for a show in school? Why then is she back so early. She just left the house almost like an hour ago.
“What happened dear? Why are you back already? Or is the party already over?” Big Momma threw numerous questions at Janella all at once.
Janella smiled and held her hand. ” Nothing happened, Big Momma. I just didn’t want to stay too long there that’s why” Janella said, but Big Momma knew that wasn’t the reason.
Though she knows Janella isn’t a party person, but she was sure it wasn’t because of that.
“I need to go to bed now. Goodnight grandma” She pecked her granny’s both cheeks before she left.
As she left Big Momma’s side, what happened back in school played in her head.
What if Jerome hadn’t showed up?
Who was that guy in the first place?
Those two thoughts crept in her mind and her mind was troubled again. But she was suddenly distracted just when she was about to start thinking much about it.
Her phone dinged and when she checked it, she saw that it’s a message from message Jerome.
~Have A Good Night Rest And Don’t Get Yourself Worked Up, Hmm?~
The message read, and Janella smiled after reading it. Sighing, she entered her room straight to go have her night bath.
She already called Lenora and Alexa and well, she didn’t tell them much about what happened, but they were cool and decided to talk more when they see.
Oh, yeah. Jerome got her phone for her before they left there, but they didn’t find that guy there anymore.
°°°JEROME’S LUXURIOUS HOME°°°NEXT DAY MORNING～☆
“Miss Ella….” Little Desiree called Janella slowly as her body began to itch her just all of a sudden.
She actually came this morning and totally surprised Dee who had missed her. It’s not so long she came though, but she and Dee are already having so much fun.
They’re right now in Desiree’s room, but at her balcony and Desiree is seen eating one of her favorite foods; Pastrami, which she decided to have in her room instead.
How much she loves it!
Anyway, with her little fingers and nails, Desiree dropped the fork she was eating with and started scratching her body, trying to stop the itches. But it wasn’t working because her nails were too short.
“Mis Ella! My body is itching….” Desiree screamed Janella’s name this time as the itching continued. It was spreading all over her body so fast like wildfire and the poor girl couldn’t help but to panic and scratch hard.
Janella on hearing her voice, she quickly turned and saw how crazy she was scratching her body like one who just got bathed with black beans water.
“What the….Dee?” Janella widened her eyes in total shock and horror as Desiree began to cry in pains and her whole body was already covered with red spots.
Her skin even started peeling off as a result of the too much scratching.
Janella swiftly got to where she stood, and carried the little girl into her arms, totally confused on what to do because she didn’t even understand what was happening to little Dee.
I mean, she left her side to go answer her call just few seconds ago and all of a sudden she’s got all that on her body?
And she wasn’t even far from her to not see what must have happened to her before all those itches and red spots began to appear on her body.
What is going on? Just f*cking what?!
She doesn’t even know who to point fingers at right now because she and Desiree are the only ones in the room.
Wait, could….could it be the Pastrami?
Was it poi…..poisoned?!
No! That can’t be possible because Janella herself was eating the food with Desiree before she left her to go answer her call.
So what the hell is then the problem?
Why is nothing happening to her?!
This is really strange because according Desiree, this Pastrami is her favorite food, and she eats it almost everyday. Even her dad confirmed it.
So what then is happening to the little girl?
“Miss Ella….?” Little Desiree’s weak voice sounded in Janella’s ears as she still held her close to her body. “What is happening to me, Miss Ella? I….I feel weak, can you call my….” Desiree instantly passed out before she could complete what she wanted to say.
“What in the world?! Desiree!” Janella lost it! She completely lost it as she widened her eyes in utter fear and disbelief.
What the heck is all this?
Is she dreaming or what?
Like this is the craziest and most confusing situation she has ever found herself in.
Why is this happening so fast? Wait, what the hell is going on right now?!
The hands that were holding little Dee’s body were completely weak and shaky. So shaky that Janella couldn’t even hold her phone.
The phone landed on the ground with a thud as she tried to call Jerome with it.
“Oh my God! What’s all this? Help me….Jerome!!” Janella screamed in anxiety.

Jerome can be seen in the Company’s building right now, parking his car where he parks all the time. It’s his own personal parking space actually.
Since they have no lectures today, he came to the office to work. Especially signing of docvments that he knows will definitely be piled up on his desk soon.
He would have still come here anyway, whether there was any lecture or not.
He was the one who actually asked Janella to please come stay with little Dee since she also doesn’t have any lectures, and even Desiree didn’t go to school.
He just left home not long ago because his office is not so far from home. But he kind of feels somehow right not, and he doesn’t know why or how exactly he feels.
Getting out of the car, he picked his three phones and some other items before locking the car.
He then began to head to the elevator that would take him to his office.
As he walked, his thoughts suddenly drifted to his daughter and Janella that he hasn’t seen since last night that he last saw her.
However, thinking about her made him smile hard, especially as he remembered yesterday’s moment with her.
He just cannot wait to go home and see them.
Jerome entered the elevator that will take him to his office and just when he was about to press the button to open it, his phone instantly started ringing.
He picked up immediately he saw that it was Janella that was calling. He smiled so handsomely, but his smiled immediately vanished when he heard Janella’s panicking voice.
“Jerome….! Dee….I don’t know what’s wrong with Desiree, she….had…Dee just passed out!”….
Jerome’s blôod was instantly drained out of his body, completely drained as his body weakened for a moment, and just like Janella, his phone slipped out of his hand and landed on the ground…..
