***BROOKE’S MANSION__Dina’s home***
Dina changed the channel for the eighth time. “Dina is everything okay” Mr. Brooke, her dad asked
“Just a little bit tired” Dina said as she changed the channel again.
“Do you wanna talk about it??” her dad asked again.
“No, don’t worry. I’m fine” Dina said but she knew she was far from fine. Her mind was clouded with Jewel. What is it that could makes her doughnut head lie to her
“Is it about Jewel? Did she lock herself up again? I thought she was getting better” Mr. Brooke asked trying to get Dina to speak.
“Nah, Just forget about it. Anyways, where’s mom” Dina asked her dad trying to change the topic
“She’ll be coming back late”
“Late again?? Mom has been coming late for the past few months, dad. But today, is worse than before. It’s past 10 already. Wait, don’t tell me you both are fighting. Are you guys planning a divorce” Dina asked standing up from her seat.
“Baby take it easy. Nothing’s going on. It’s just that your mom has been having a lot of work. You know as a doctor and one of priority is to save lives. So stop thinking wh@tëver thought’s you have going on in your mind” Her dad said as he gently squeezed her hand.
Soon the door opened and her mom, Elena walked in. “Gosh I’m so tired” she said as she walked towards the bedroom oblivious of her surrounding.
“You see what I’m saying. She didn’t even notice us, Before she would hug me and give you kiss but now, gosh!!! This is frustrating” Dina said, ruffling her hair as she left the house.
“Dina it’s late already” Mr. Brooke said but Dina was already gone. He went to the bedroom and saw Elena already asleep
“She went through so much stress” He said as he pecked her head.
“Goodnight love”
***LIGHT HOUSE FASHION STORE___10PM***
The manager was packing her things. Everyone had gone leaving her behind. She had alot of work so had stayed behind
Soon the door creaked open and two figures walked in.
“Sorry” we are closed for the day she said not raising her head from what she was doing but the figures kept coming close
“I said we are closed…” she paused as a cold metal touched her head.
“Holy Christ” She screamed
“Shout agay and I won’t hesitate to pull the trigger and bust your brain” Mole said and the lady swallowed the a lump that formed in her throat as she shivered with fear.
Let’s make this quick. A Lady bought this clothes from this shop probably a year ago” Gator said showing the lady the picture
“All you have to do is to go to your records and bring her out. We just want her name and address” Gator said.
“I’m..I..am…” she stuttered and the guys gave her raised eyebrows
“Well the thing is that, I, I mean we are not allowed to give out t personal records” she said her clothes getting soaked with sweat.
“Then you might as well be exchanging it for your life” Mole said, bringing his gun closer
“I’ll do it” The woman said with fear visible on her face. she immediately rushed to her laptop opening it as she searched for that particular records. It took up to thirty minutes before she finally found it.
“I found it” She said turning the laptop to face Mole and Gator with shaky hands. Mole looked the at the name, smirked and read aloud.
DR. MRS. ELENA STEWARTS, OWNER OF BROOKE’S HOSPITAL, WIFE OF MR. BROOKE WHO IS THE CEO OF BROOKE’S COLMEGORATE.
***SAME NIGHT___10PM___RIZZ CLUB***
“Another Shot” Dina said to the bartender drunkenly.
“I think you’ve had enough that was your fourth shot but you were drunk from the first shot you took” A guy who happened to be Alex said
“And who are you to tell me what to do?” Dina said turning to face the guy
“Someone who cares” Alex said taking the glass from her
“Do you really care? Are you not like everyone else?” Dina asked looking at Alex with teary eyes. She kept looking at him expecting him to reply her but he said nothing.
“Just like I thought. No one cares” Dina said as a tear fell off her eyes. She took the glass from Alex and drank everything in one gulp.
“Again” she said as the bar tender filled the glass.
“You’ve got to stop” Alex said holding her hands to stop her from taking the eight shot.
“leave me alone” she said crying already.
“You’re not allowed to waste yourself?” He said taking the glass from her.
“Says who??”
“ME”
Dina looked at him and scoffed.
“Then be my guest” she said and tried taking the glass from him but he stood up using his height as an advantage. Dina smirked and did the unexpected. She took the new bottle, opened it and drank directly from it finishing it before anyone could react
“That’s it. Where’s your home” Alex asked but was replied by a loud burp from her
*gphrrrrhr*
She had burped straight in his face.
“That was relaxing” she said drunkenly.
“I don’t know why I’m concerned but I can’t leave you here in your drunken state. Tell me your address” He said and Dina smiled.
“Didn’t know you were handsome” She said walking towards him as Alex gave her raised eyebrow. Knowing she wasn’t in her right state of mind, he took her in his car and drove to his house. When he got home, he carried her over his shoulder while she kept speaking gibberish.
He finally got to the room and dropped her on the bed. He was about leaving when she suddenly stood and said up.
“Mr, handsome, hope we’ll meet again some day” she said and stoop up walking to the wall. In her drunken she hit ber head and shouted in pain.
“Hey” Alex called her dragging her to the bed while she held the table. “Help, somebody, someone, he’s gonna R@PE me” She shouted. He finally removed her hands from the table only for her to puke on his face
“finally. I let it all out” she said smiling crazily as she fell on the bed sleeping off.
It took Alex ten minutes to come back to planet earth. “Jeez,” He said walking into the bathroom
***NEXT DAY***
Dina yawned tiredly on the bed. “Ouch, my head hurts” she said as a hangover griped her. She slowly opened her eyes to find herself in a different room.
“Huh??? where am I” she whispered to herself. immediately images from the previous night came rushing into her head.
“Blood of God, I need to go before he finds me. How could I have puked on Mr. handsome. Imagining me calling him a rapist” she said as she turned to leave only to meet him stepping out of the bathroom bare with only a towel wrapped around his waist.
“Aarh” she screamed rushing out. In the process of rushing out, she bumped into Mira “I’m so sorry” She said in haste as she finally left the building.
***RISE MANSION***
Jewel slowly opened her eyes to find out it was already morning. She checked her time to see it was past eight. “Is Luke also mad at me?” she thought
Just Luke appeared but wanted to disappear back after seeing Jewel was awake
“Don’t go” she said her voice, barely above whisper.
“Pls don’t leave me, please”
She said as her knee weakened making her to fall to the floor. Luke stared at her for a while before walking towards her.
“Jules, it’s alright. I’m not angry at you and I’m not leaving you. I thought you needed space, but I guess I only made you lonely. So I’m sorry Jules” He said and Jewel lifted her face and looked at him directly in the eyes
“Jules???” she asked
“it’s a nickname, short for Jewel. Don’t you like it?” He asked staring back at her.
“I love it” Jewel said.
“About yesterday, I think you should tell Dina everything. She is your bestie and i’m sure she can keep secrets” Luke said
“Dina doesn’t want to talk to me. She is angry and I’m not sure if she would ever forgive me anytime soon” Jewel said as the hugged her knee sadly. She was still at it when something hit her head
“Ouch” she winced in pain turning around to see Dina.
“Why would you say that? What makes you think I’m angry. I can never be angry at my doughnut head. Dina said, running to hug Jewel
“It’s alright baby girl” she said while hugging Jewel.
“Dina”
“huh”
“The truth is that…”
“you don’t have to tell me if it’s difficult to say. I know I’m the curious type but I’ll wait. okay?” Dina said hugging Jewel tighter. But Jewel broke the hug.
“Jewel???”
“lt is a ghost”
“huh”
“What I mean is that the person behind my sudden change is a ghost”
“Jewel, your eyes well are puffy”
“You’ve got to believe me” Jewel said but Dina looked at her as though she was saying rubbish
“Luke prove it to her. she doesn’t believe. so make her believe” Jewel said and Luke picked up a book.
Dina couldn’t see luke but she saw the book floating in the air
“AARH” she screamed and fainted
……..
(IN HIS MANSION🏡)
“What’s with you girls and fainting” Luke asked while Jewel gave him an eye roll.
“Ouch” Dina yelped holding her head as she regained consciousness. She had hit her head hard on the marbled floor.
“Jewel, I had a very bad, no, terrible nightmares. In the dream, I saw a book floating…”
Dina couldn’t complete her statement as she noticed the book in the air (Luke was still holding the book)
“Aarch” she screamed and fainted.

“So you mean Luke is a ghost??” Dina half yelled as she fanned her self with her left hand.
“Dina, breathe, you’re better than this. There is nothing that can ever schock you” Dina said to herself while Luke and Jewel stared at her in awe.
Jewel had explained everything to Dina, leaving no details out.
“Okay. I’m calm now. So if I may ask, how many days has gone by from the thirty one days in a month” Dina asked
“Hum….., today is the fifth day” Jewel said.
“And you’ve not made any progress??” Dina asked.
“Well It’s not my fault Luke doesn’t know what happened to him last, nor his unfinished business or how he died”
“Luke is here??” Dina asked and Jewel nodded immediately. Dina started arranging her hair and clothes
“What are you doing? Dina?”Jewel asked but Dina ignored her. When she was done, she stood up, facing the wrong direction, she said,
“my name is Dina and this is my friend Jewel. We are huge fans and I wish I could have an auto graph, but I think it’s too late for that. But I’m glad to meet you before you crossover” Dina said crazily while Luke and Jewel faced each other and they didn’t know when they burst out in laughter
Why are you laughing, huh?” Dina asked.
“Well Luke isn’t over there”
“Wait what?, so you mean I’ve been talking to the air ever since” Dina asked and Jewel nodded.
“Then where is he?”
“He’s right beside me” Jewel said locking eyes with Luke who just stopped laughing, they continued Locking eyes oblivious to Dina who was staring at Jewel. If not for the fact that she already knew about Luke the ghost, she did would have booked an appointment with a doctor to treat Jewel.
“Hm” Ding cleared her throat bringing Luke and Jewel to reality.
“So I was thinking, if Luke didn’t remember anything, instead of starting with the euphorium, why don’t we start with his house” Dina said and Jewel nodded
“I think that’s gonna be our starting point”
***ALEX’S MANSION***
Alex was still in the towel thinking about how Dina had rushed out when the door opened revealing Mira who barged in
“You need to learn how to knock” Alex said not looking at her.
“Alexander, since when, Just when did you start bringing girls home, huh??” Mira asked like a possesive lady.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about” Alex said going to the wardrobe.
“who is that Lady, huh, she’s not even a lady. who is that girl? Alex, huh??” she asked but recieved no reply.
“Did she sleep over?”
“yes” Alex said finally deciding on what to wear.
“What???? Holy hell?????????, you never for once allowed me to sleep over, but you brought a young girl and…. wait, don’t tell me you…..”
“You what? Mira”
“Alex!!!! She shouted his name.
“That’s my, name” Alex said enjoying the drama she was displaying.
“How could you?”
“How could I???? I am confused right now” Alex said finally facing Mira. He was surprised to see her eyes. They were as though she was about to cry
“Mira, are you okay??”
“okay? How can I be okay. I’m gonna find that girl and I’ll give hera piece of me” Mira said sitting on the bed.
“You will do no such thing. Now if you don’t mind get your self of my bed and leave the room”
“You’re chasing me??? I’m sure you didn’t chase her out” Mira said
“I want to change or do you want me to change in front of you??” Alex asked getting fed up
“Do wh@tëver you want” she said laying her back on the bed but it was cut short as she felt strong arm lift her from the bed, walked to the door, dropped her outside and closed the door in her face.
Mira ruffled her hair. “I’m sure it if was that girl, he wouldn’t mind. Who on earth is she?????”
****LUKE’S MANSION****
“Wow” Dina and Jewel said as they looked around the house. There were many artistic photos of Luke hanged on the wall.
“He’s so…” Dina couldn’t find the right word while Jewel kept touching the portraits as though she was touching Luke himself.
“I miss this place” Luke muttered but Jewel beard him.
“Let’s check for anything that we think might be a clue” Luke said walking around.
He came back few minutes later only to find the girls staring at his picture
“let’s, search around for clues” he said again and Jewel followed him but Dina was still staring at his pictures.
“Oh I forgot, She can’t hear me”, Luke said and Jewel called Dina. They searched for minutes but didn’t find anything. Soon they came into his music room.
“OH MY GOD!!!!!” Dina and Jewel said staring at the place. On the walls where so many different guitars and awards. There was a recording studio. and a piano. But a book caught Jewel’s eyes.
“l don’t think anything is here” Luke said only to find the girls not doing anything. They were staring at his awards one after the other
“They are so many” Dina said
But their stare was broken by a voice that brought them back to earth.
“What are you doing here?” The voice said as they turned around to meet….
