****OUTSIDE JEWEL’S MANSION****
“Jewel” Dina called as they walked out of the mansion. Jewel was in front. She was walking faster than usual and Dina was trying to keep up.
“Jewel” Dina called again but got no response so she ran the remaining space between them.
“Jewel” She called, her voice louder than normal in volume making Jewel snap back to reality.
“Huh???”
“You snoozed out” Dina said answering Jewel’s unspoken question.
“What’s going on?” Dina asked
“Jewel what’s wrong? You can talk to me” Dina said facing Jewel trying to get her to open up. Jewel looked at Dina and shook her head negatively.
“The Jewel I know is different from the one in front of me right now. Why are you shunning your mom?”
“I don’t want to talk about it” Jewel said increasing her pace.
“Jewel, we made a no secret promise. You can tell me what is going on. You’ve always wanted a mother. You wanted her to give you the same attention she gave when your dad was around so why are you distancing….”
“STOPPPPPP. There nothing to talk about and I’m fine” Jewel half yelled interrupting Dina. Dina stood shocked to the core. Jewel never for once yelled at her. What going on. She felt hurt but quickly covered it up.
“I’m sorry” Jewel immediately said after realizing what she did.
“I..I.. didn’t mean to yell that way”
“It’s alright” Dina said widening her hand as she welcomed Jewel into a warm hug.
“It’s alright. Everything is gonna be alright” She whispered patting Jewel slowly in a reassuring hug.
Dina felt something cold tickle down her neck.
“Jewel, are you crying???”
“No, I’m not” Jewel said with a voice that was clearly betraying her.
“I know, let’s go clear your head” Dina said as they walked to the nearest cafe.
They went inside and made their orders. They took their seat and soon they were served.
“Is Luke here??” Dina asked searching around as if she could see Luke
“Nope” Jewel said turning sideways.
“I wish I was able to see Luke too” Dina said sadly.
“About that, I think Grandma would be able to help” Jewel said and Dina’s mood lightened.
“Really?? Then let’s visit her soon” Dina said as she daydreamed herself talking with Luke.
“Yes, I wonder were is he is though” Jewel muttered as she raised her head to see someone entering the cafe.
“Dina, isn’t that Alex? Luke’s friend?” Jewel asked as Alex entered the cafe.
“Dina????” Jewel called when Dina mysteriously vanished from her seat. She felt a tug on her skirt and she bent down to find Dina hiding under the table.
“What are you doing here??”
“Hum, my earrings fell off and I’m looking for it” Dina lied as she looked sideways to see Alex making an order. Her heart was beating fast as though it could burst out any moment from now.
“You’re earrings are complete in your ears so stand up” Jewel said.
“No, I can’t”
“Why???” Jewel asked dragging Dina out of the table.
“The truth is that there is something I haven’t told you” Dina confessed as she held onto the table’s leg
“What??? And you are just telling me?? Infact get the hell out of there” Jewel said as she added force in dragging Dina who held onto the table lag as if it was her life.
The waiter who saw them thought they were crazy and so called the hospital.
“Hello, is this 911” He asked
“Yes, What’s the emergency?” A voice said over the phone
“The are two ladies here, I…I think they are running mad, Please send help before they destroy things ” He said and soon the call was cut.
Soon all attention was turned towards them as the two performed their drama.
“Why do those two look familiar?” Alex muttered walking closer towards them.
“Oh no!!! I can’t let him see me. I have to run” Dina muttered as she let go of the table making Jewel loose her grip on her. The moment she had ensured that Jewel was no longer holding her, she covered her face as she took of only to hit a hard wall.
“Gosh!!! Who moved the wall??? Dina asked aloud as she removed her hand that was covering her face.
Jewel immediately ran to her. “Dina are you okay??”
“Yes I’m fine” She said dusting her skirt as she turned around only to meet a piercing gaze.
“Oh no I’m not fine” Dina said as she fainted.
Immediately, an ambulance stopped in front of the building, and paramedics came out.
“Step aside, we are going to use a defibrillator on her” They said going to meet Dina
“Oh no, Jewel please stop them” Dina thought as she had faked her her faint but then she heard Jewel say
“Oh no, please do anything to save her. She’s all I’ve got. She can’t leave me. I didn’t even tell her how much value she added to my life” Jewel said dramatically.
*grrhhh*
The machine sounded as they powered it ready to shock Dina.
“Oh no, I’m sorry, I have woken up. There is no need for that” Dina said as she stood up
“You’re alive” Jewel said as she jumped on Dina leaving everyone with mixed emotions except Alex
“So your awake, Little Miss drunkard” The voice of the person Dina has been trying to avoid said and she turned around slowly.
Jewel heard the voice and her brain told her it was Alex. She has forgotten about their encounter at Luke’s house.
“Oh no!!” They both said as they fainted for real.
**********THERAPIST*********
“I’m not crazy. I know what happened” Zach half yelled.
“And I’m telling you that maybe the drugs your taking are having too much effect on you” The therapist said
“So you are indirectly telling me I’m going crazy” Zach said as he laughed like a maniac.
“I’m only saying ghost are not real. They are just illusions and fantasies” The therapist said calmly
“Füçk you” Zach curses loudly as he walked out of the office slamming the door hard.
“He’s really going crazy” The Therapist said
********NATASHA’S HOUSE**********
“I can’t believe she did this” Sydney said as she pressed ice on Natasha’s swollen face.
“We need to teach her a lesson” Sheila said as she paced around.
“Nope” Natasha said as she picked her phone
“No????????” Her minion asked at the same time
“I won’t be the one doing the teaching her a lesson”
Natasha said
“What do you mean????”
“I’m calling my dad” Natasha said and they all smirked.
********UNKNOWN HIDEOUT/VENOMS CLAN********
“MOLEEEEEEEEEE” The man in mask shouted
Mole could feel his legs weaken as the unknown man stared at him.
“Believe me boss we are making progress” Mole said hiding his shakiness
“Believe you???? How dare you fail me?? I gave you a week and all you have to say is you are making progress???” The unknown man yelled as he picked up his gun, his face red with anger. Other clan members, kept quiet for the fear of been a scape goat.
“I’m really so…..aaarrrrh” Mole screamed in pain as the sound from the gun echoed in his ears.
He had been shot in his left hand making him loose two fingers at once. His index and middle finger were gone and his blood was pouring.
“I h@të that word. Keep him locked up in the torture room for forty-eight hours”
“No boss…. You can’t do this to me, pleaseeeeee, a second chance” Mole begged as he was been dragged out till his voice was no longer heard.
“You have one more week to bring back my package. Till Mole is done with his punishment, I put Gator in charge” The masked man said as he walked out
He was already leaving through the door when he suddenly turned and said
“ANOTHER FAILURE AND YOU WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD GONE”
