At Diego’s first step, the guy’s eyes widened as the deadly warning rang in his head. ‘The last person I fist fought with didn’t leave the hospital alive’.
In the next moment, Diego was standing before him, his gaze sent a chill down his spine, the gaze that shows he was d@mn serious about what he said. This devil haven’t started and yet he was already sweating profusely.
“Hit me” Diego demanded in a low voice. The trembling guy swallowed hard.
“Uhm.. hmm” His words seems to be caught up in his throat. Out of fear, fluid poured out beneath him.
“The the Fuçk?” One of the crowd eyes widened.
What’s he doing? Is he crazy?…
This is so embarrassing…
Others in the club murmured among each other. The guy before Diego became confused. Just then, he looked down to his pant and realized why the were all staring.
He peed in his pant. ‘Oh Fuçk’ He cursed inwardly and then look back up to Diego who smirked.
“Okay sorry man.. Fuçk, you’re so scary. I was just playing with you man…” His words were cut short when Diego roughly grab his neck hard.
“I said hit me” He demanded again. The guy peed on his pant again unable to move his muscules. When the guy did nothing, Diego pushed him away.
The guy landed hard on the table behind him and groan in pain.
Sighing, Diego turn back to Candy, who had a relief look on her face. She was glad Diego didn’t kill him. He held her hand gently and led her away from the crowd heading up to the VIP area.
“I Fuçking told you to stay away from him. Now look at you all wet in your own urine” The guy’s friend spat.
Getting upstairs, Diego was being greeted by every workers at the VIP. One could see the surprised look on their faces when they saw him with a woman.
The woman rumored to be his wife..
He took her into a comfortable empty room and faced her.
“How about we stay here? I’m sorry but crowds makes me uncomfortable. We can dance here instead” After his word, Diego pressed two button on the wall behind her.
Elegant music filled the room and fancy lights beautified the room. Candy’s lips stretched up to a smile.
“Do you like it?” He asked, bringing her attention back to himself.
“Yeah I do”
“Well, I don’t know how to dance. I guess you’ll be my teacher tonight” He led her to the center of the room. Facing her, he draw her waist close.
Candy eyes locked with his. The reason why she love this man was unknown to her. His presence, action and just everything makes her heart flutter.
“I’m waiting for your first move wife” His words bought her back, she saw him smirked. “Am I that handsome?”
“Tssk.. yes you are. I want to stare at you all day Di” She grin.
“I love you” He whispered, kissing her forehead. Candy couldn’t count the number of times, she had heard those beautiful words from his mouth.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she made the first move and began to dance with him. Diego was a fast learner so caught up quickly.
They stared at each other smiling while taking careful dancing steps, lost in their own world and never wanted to come out of it.
“Thanks wife.. thanks for being my life. I promise protect you.. even if it’s to burn the whole world down and never feel remorseful about it” Diego promised with utmost solemnity.
“No Diego.. promise never to leave me. It’s going to break my heart so hard I won’t be able to live. Promise?” She asked, her eyes desperate for answer.
“I promise” He muttered. Drawing her closer, he gently kissed her lips.

Aiden watch Yazmine working hard trying to cover up most of the work. He walked up to her and dropped a coffee before her.
“Don’t reject” He said before she could speak.
“Just what I needed, thanks” Yazmine said reaching out for the coffee. She gulped them down in a second and took a deep breath.
“Why is there so much work?” Aiden asked.
“It’s just a rivals.. they are trying to mess with us. With the president not around, I and Jameson is trying to help the company” Yazmine replied.
“Can I help?” Aiden asked.
“Sure” Yazmine replied and he sat beside her. His cologne hut her nose and she swallowed when her heart skipped a beat… What the hell was that?..
Aiden took a look at the what was in her screen. After while, he returned his gaze to her and found her staring.
“Yaz?” He called out gently.
“Oh.. I gotta go. I’m pressed” She stood up and left the place.

“Say ahh” Candy requested, as she stretched a steak to Diego’s lips. He opened up his mouth and took it from her.
“You should eat to, you’ve been feeding me” He said, stabbing a steak with a fork and gave it to her.
Candy ate it obediently and chuckled. Diego’s phone rang catching his attention.
“What?” Diego answered.
“Hey, something came up. The Spanish @$$hOle is at it again. This time, he doing something worse. We can’t discuss this on phone, in fact we might have to travel to Berlin soon to fix this” Jameson informed.
“Ah geez.. those bastards” Diego muttered. “I’ll see you soon,” the call ended afterward.
“It’s about work right?” Candy spoke.
“Hm, don’t worry about it” Diego said.
“It’s been a week and you’ve been ignoring the company’s complains. I’ll be sad if things goes down” Candy said and Diego sighed.
“I’ll be traveling tomorrow, I promise to fix this as soon as possible” He said.
“I’ll also return to work tomorrow. I’ve missed everyone” She said.

On the next morning, Diego kissed Candy goodbye, he badly don’t want to leave. His stay with Candy had been the best. Same goes to Candy, she wished for him to stay but since he’ll be back soon, she is going to wait.
In the plane, Diego flipped the docvments in his hand.
Jameson walked to sit beside him, he checked his wrist watch and sighed.
“What took you so long?” Diego asked.
“I woke up late” Jameson lied. He had actually dealt with his sickness a little this morning.
“Hmm” Diego grunt, focusing on the file before him. It was the information about his enemies.
“So, you’ve finally realized your feelings” Jameson asked, adjusting his suit as he watched Diego gave off a genuine smile.
“I’m crazy about her” Diego said and Jameson expression changed for a moment but he composed himself immediately.

“How was your honeymoon, Mrs Gonzalez?” Yazmine walked into Candy’s office with a smile.
“The best” Candy tilted her head with a beautiful grin.
“Tssk.. look how big you’ve become after a week” Yazmine teased.
“Stop it” Candy said and then chuckled. “Is it time to meet them?” She asked.
“Yeah, Aiden is waiting for us in the car already”
As Aiden drive, Candy check out the information about the man they were going to meet. This man worked under the @$$hOle troubling them in Berlin.
Candy’s phone rang and a smile flashed on her face when she saw the name.
“Hey Di” Candy answered.
Hearing the nickname, Yazmine and Aiden cast each other a glance and chuckled.
“Wife, are you on your way there?” Diego asked.
“Hm, we just left the office. Are you Berlin?” Candy replied.
“Yeah, we just got here. No matter what happens Candy, trust me okay? I’m everywhere” He said seriously.
“Sure”
While Candy was talking over the phone, Yazmine turn her gaze to Aiden, whose eyes was focused on the road. He hadn’t been on her ever since the slept under this same roof.. wait, what was she thinking?
“Do you have something to tell me” Aiden asked noticing Yazmine’s intense stare.
“Huh?.. uhm.. no” She answered averting her gaze from him.
“You hardly reply my messages” Aiden stated.
“I was just busy”
“After this, I need to tell you something” He said. Yazmine got curious about what he wanted to say.

“So this is the building” Candy muttered.
“What a strange aura” Yazmine said scanning the place. It was in a building in a restricted area.
Stepping into a room they found a man sitting at the end of the wall before them. There was also five men in the room, all has a dark intention writren on their faces.
“I don’t feel good about this” Yazmine muttered, her face calm same with Candy and Aiden.
The man seated lips curved up to a dark smile, his eyes screamed dangerous motive but this didn’t scare the three.
“I was beginning to think you wouldn’t show up. Have your seat” The man demanded lightly and the three did.
Candy’s eyes darted around the room as Yazmine began to her discussion with the man.
“Taking the Gonzalez’s resources is out of the line, Mr. Leo” Yazmine spoke first.
“The Gonzalez was the first to steal what’s ours. It’s fair now” The man’s smirked.
“We won fair and square”
“Hmm.. it seems your president is beginning to lose his capabilities. Stealing what is his, I never thought it would be that easy…”
Meanwhile, Leo got the chance because Diego was off for a while. And it seems someone helped them.
Someone that knew about the Gonzalez company well.
“And also..” The man scoffed. “He had just led his people into a trap”
After his words, the men in the room pointed their guns towards the three. Non of them flinch in fear.
“Gosh, I never thought we’ll have a gun fight” Yazmine closed her eyes and sighed.

Back in Berlin, Diego and Jameson stepped into a game house. After speaking with a man who had walked towards them, they was led to a large room.
“Bienvenidos Diego!” The Spanish man having tattoos covering most part of his body greeted loudly as Diego and Jameson stepped in. (Welcome Diego)
“Cabrón” Diego cursed. (@$$hOle)
“It’s really nice to see you my friend. I never thought I could actually bring you here” The Spanish man walked to stand before Diego. “Do you keep getting taller? Why are you so big?”
“You’ve crossed the line Vito” Diego glared coldly.
“I heard you sent some of your workers to discuss with my man over there. They should be in a tight seat right now Diego. If you want them to live, let’s discuss calmly” Vito said.
Diego smirked. “I’m actually pitying your man there”
Vito frowned. “Are you trying to act unaffected. You’re about to lose your dear workers. Why will you pity my man instead?”
“My wife is a crazy when angry and I’m sure that man of yours is going to trigger it..” Diego stepped closer to Vito.
“Did you really think you can get away after stealing from me?”
Vito blinked, trying to figure out what Diego meant.

Meanwhile***
“You three are not going to leave here alive” Leo stated.. “Except..” he turn his gaze to Candy.
“If I have a taste of this damsel right here”
They all turn their gaze to Candy.
“Me?” Candy asked cutely pointing her index finger to herself.
“Yes you dear. You’re the only one who could save your friend now.. don’t worry. I’ll be gentle” The man spoke. Meanwhile, Aiden slowly pull out his gun, his gaze also scan the man behind him.
“Hey…” Yazmine made to fire at Leo but Candy held her hand below the table, telling her she could handle this.
The man took his cup of tea and drank out of it.
“Well, Mr. Leo. I’ll have to decline such and offer..” placing her hand on chest, she said with a smile. “I’m a married woman, I can’t cheat on my lovely husband for anything”
“Oh what a sweet woman, you’re just the type I want. Your husband is obviously not powerful than me. I’ll take care of you so well..”
“Hey!!” The man jerked at Candy’s scream and blinked. “Don’t insult my husband like that” she pouted.
“Insult…”
“Yeah, my husband is a billion times better that a church rat.. oh I meant you”
Behind, Candy’s innocent face laying her devil ready to creep out of the surface.
“Did you just insult me? Who the hell is your husband!”
“Someone I can’t compare you with. You’re like Sh|t beside him” Candy said. Yazmine tried to hold in her laughter, same with Aiden. Candy is sure crazy.
“Wh@tëver.. y’all going to die!!” The man roared but felt a strange sensation coursing through him.
“Oh” Candy placed both of her legs on the table, her face dropped cold.
“I forgot to tell you something Mr. Leo.. I might have added a little bit sugar in your tea”
Leo eyes widened.. what the hell?!! While the little talk was going on with Yazmine. Candy had secretly put some poison into his tea since she was close to it.
The poison will only weaken his system giving him pains… Not enough to kill him though.
“Kill them! Kill them all!!” Leo roared.
Candy shut her eyes as several gunshots sounded same with Yazmine, her heart had skipped a beat. Candy let out a breath of relief.. she knew she could trust her husband.
Among the five men in the room, three was Diego’s men. Aiden had also shot one too but was a bit surprised those men helped him too.
Leo eyes almost popped out of its socket. What the hell. He coughed out hard, his chest tighten.
Candy stood up and lean close to the man groaning in pain.
“What the..” He coughed.. “Who the hell are you?” He asked.
Candy pulled out the gun she got from Diego, and pointed it straight to Leo’s head, a smirk on her lips.
“What did you expect from a woman married to the Billionaire Devil?”
Leo eyes widened.. Candy is Diego’s wife? No wonder she had looked familiar. She was the woman rumored to be the devil’s wife. How could an innocent woman look deadly in a minute.
“Shocking isn’t it?” Candy’s set her gun creating a a click sound that rented the silent room.
“Any last word?” She asked, raising her brow.
Leo roared.. “Fuçk you Bîtch”
“Tssk!” Candy scoffed coldly. In the next moment, she pulled the trigger..
