Chapter 80 – Her Vendetta
Slowly Johnny stepped out from the hallway, he rolled his eyes because he knew Johnny always had his way with his tactics.
“If I don’t know better, I would say you were trying to make her leave.” Johnny said and both knew it could become reality.
“SoMi can take it. God knows how much the woman can take.” Taeyong commented.
Johnny lowered his eyes questioning his friend. Was SoMi strong enough to bear all this?
In the beginning, he thought she was such an interesting topic. When he first met her, he found her unique. She was strong and reckless, a little too fearless for her own good. She was careless, not giving a d@mn about anything but her vendetta.
She reminded her so much of himself at first, but as he got close to her, he realized that the woman who put up such a strong front was just a sad woman who never grew up with a home, she was lonely and scared.
“Go talk to her.”
“She wants to kill me.”
Taeyong laughed, thinking that Johnny’s comment was the most hilarious thing he’s ever heard. “Doesn’t she always wants to kill you?”
….
SoMi was busy pacing back and forth, her mind cluttered with so many emotions. She wanted to numb it out, she wanted to close her eyes and pretend like nothing was real. She was utterly up.
The knock on the door caused her to turn around, even if the door was closed, she knew who it was. She knew it was Johnny, and honestly she didn’t want to talk to him.
“Leave me alone.” She pleaded as she slump down against the bed.
Apparently and totally predictably Johnny decided to ignore her plead and crack the door open. It was silent until she heard his quiet movements along with the door shutting once again. He was inside the room with her.
“Get out!” She ordered sternly, she didn’t even turn around to face him.
“It’s my house.” He tested.
“Fine!” She insisted pushing herself from the ground. She whisked around to face him. The guilty look on his face was enough to confirm that he was really sorry. SoMi knew because she barely ever saw that look, if it wasn’t for the fact that she was still upset, she would pull him into a hug.
“I know you warned me. You warned me that I was going to get mad, furious even, but I’m not.” She stated. She looked away from him and her eyes latched onto the ground. “I’m…. just upset and disappointed.” She admitted.
Johnny huffed loudly before he slipped towards her. He moved closer to her until he was standing directly in front of her, a little too close for her own liking.
“Hey!” He mumbled softly and she h@tëd how his voice was so warm and calm, because he knew her heart was swimming with million fluttering butterflies. “Go ahead, say it.” He tested slowly, he looked up to him, his tall height, forced her to tilt her head up.
“God, I h@të you.” She hissed coldly, hitting his chest.
“I know.” He nodded, he knew the fate waiting for him. He knew he was going to met her wrath after the bombshell he just threw at her.
SoMi bit her lip to contain her emotions. “They were my parents, and they were trying to protect you. And you, you helped kill them. They put their lives on on the line for you and you implanted the d@mn bomb that killed them.” She hissed dangerously clenching her fist around the ends of the dress shirt he had on.
“I don’t know SoMi. None of us knew until it was too late.” He revealed honestly. They both knew chairman Jeon just found out who he really was, and maybe the chairman was trying to use this evidence to bring Johnny down, who knew what the sicko was thinking.
“It’s always going to be like this, isn’t it? You just keep messing up, and me, I’m the fool who keeps staying even after all the times you hurt me. Maybe this was what Taeyong was trying to warn us about.” She commented.
Johnny furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Exactly what it means.” She tested trying to sidestep him, but every time she did, he would pull her back, refusing to let her leave until they finished this conversation or until he said so.
