CHAPTER 14: THE KEN’S FAMILY PROBLEMS
Rebecca froze when she saw the scene before her, her Mum…. Arguing with a taxi driver with her loads and her little brother carrying a sack of clothes on his head.
Rebecca rushed to thier side with her bag too…….
“Mum.. Daniel? She called
“Rebecca… What are you doing here? Her mother asked trying to hide the tears in her eyes.
“Big sister, why are you not in school?”

Rebecca, her mother and her brother sat down together in the bus stop.
“Why are you not in school Rebecca? Why are you with your bags?” she asked
“Mum… Mum… I was suspended from school…. I am fleeing to sister’s school when I saw you and why are you here?” She asked with sobs.
Her mother also began to cry as she hugged her daughter… “Why did you get suspended? Why did let anything come against your education? You know what your father can do why did you get suspended?” She asked.
The passers by were surprised why the grown up woman would be crying helplessly on the street with her Children.
“Why are you on the streets mum? What happened?” Rebecca asked.
Her mum cried the more it was her brother that explained that her parents had been having issues for quite a long time now and last night, the father kicked out his wife.
“What? Dad kicked you out? Why will he do that?” she asked.
“He asked mum for DNA test and… And…. And… It turned out that…. You’re….” His brother begin to sob too.
” What did you mean? DNA test? Why will he suddenly want to have a DNA test done it’s not as if Mom cheated or what?” Rebecca asked
“You’re his daughter but Tessy and I were another man’s Children! Daddy chased us out after learning of that” Daniel her younger explained.
Rebecca almost lost her cool, she looked at her mother, she had gone through enough. From what Rebecca know about her mother, she was and orphan who had to face her life alone.
Then why will her mother have another man save Mr Ken her father? And she Rebecca is his only daughter while her elder sister Tessy and Daniel were another man’s Children?
This is too much for her to bear…. It as too much.. impulsively, Rebecca stopped a taxi and hoped in leaving her mother and brother behind.
“Where are you going Rebecca? She heard her mother’s voice from outside but she didn’t want to look back. At that moment she h@tëd her mother and at the same time she wanted to curse her father for letting her roam around the street. She had to go and meet Mr Ken, her father and clarify issues with him.

Luckily for Rebecca, she met her father at home along with her elder sister Tessy and her aunt (dad’s younger sister) auntie Nicki at home.
“Dad… ” She called immediately stepping into the living room. The man’s eye shot at her angrily as if she was the most unwelcomed guest in the world.
“Why are you here? Did that harlot of your mother calls you back?” Her father asked
Rebecca stepped inside the living room with her bags. She didn’t reply but looked around the house, it was just as she left it…. The house beautiful and classy with Mom and Dad’s wedding pictures and family photo hung on the walls.
“Dad? Why did you kick mum and Dan out?” she asked
Her father stood up furiously “That is not what I asked you, Why are you here and not your school? This is a family matter go back to your school now!!” The man roared like a furious lion.
“Dad why did you kick mum out?!” Rebecca also yelled.
(PARAGON HIGH SCHOOL)
Mrs Tiffany catwalks to the Vice principal’s office on her hot steamy dress.
The man was wearing his usual Harry Potter doppelganger goggles as he looked at the files on his table.
“Hello Mr Chitra” She said as she stopped in front of his table but the man is not looking up.
“Spill it, why did you come here? Did you come to beg for Rebecca Ken? That will never happen she had got Abad Teacher already so why do come here?” the VP asked
Miss Tiffany sat down, “I came to let you know that Rebecca is not only at blame…. I mean, the Director’s son is also to blame, I know both of them are my students but why did you suspend Rebecca when you know who her father is?” she asked
“Killian is the Director’s son, how did you expect me to suspend him?” The vice principal asked.
“Then that is treason! Let the director know what his son did and suspend him too then I’ll stop pestering you!”Miss Tiffany argued.
The man smirked… Then he stood up revealing his trousers that is already bulging…. “Then I will only agree to you motion on one condition”
“What condition?”
“Let’s have sëx…. I have been wanted to say this but I don’t know how, I really wanna Fuçk you very hard” The VP said again.
Miss Tiffany walked towards him seducively and kissed his cheek….
“I don’t do lost things Mr Vice principal, if I have sëx with you, you will call Rebecca back to school”she asked
“If I call her back, of way use will it be? She will have to face trail again and if found guilty she will be expelled!” he said.
“,Then forget about it! Miss Tiffany said and walked away.
Back at the classroom.
“So Rebecca is really gone now?” I can’t believe that Rebecca had to leave school now, and I kind of miss her” Judy said
“Who doesn’t miss her? It was all because of that silly guy that called himself Ian or something” Ricco replied
Ian shot him a glance… “What did you say? Are we not in this together? He asked
“What are you in? Rebecca is clearly at lost here, she had go back home and here you are with your head on your neck … And your dad is the director of the school and her dad? You know who her dad is…. That man will skin her alive if he gets to know about this” Judy blurted.
Ian kept quiet them Miss Tiffany came back to call them to her office.
“You are Rebecca’s friends you have to find all possible ways to get her out of this mess”She said
“We understand you teacher but what are we supposed to do?” Judy asked.
Miss Tiffany looked up suddenly and pointed to Ian…. “He’s the solution! If Ian drops out of school and confess that he is the cause of it, Rebecca will be vindicated” She said
“Drop out? Then what did you want me to tell my father? Then he’ll tear my limbs apart” Ian voiced out
“This is all because of you! Ricco shouted

her father walked closer to her with his long nose almost touching hers, “What did you just do? Rebecca? Did you just shout on me?” he asked as he teared her a heavy slap.
“Dad! Tessy shouted.
“Bro! Nicki shouted.
“You heartless witch, is the only child I have in my whole life, I have been proud that I have three children and a wife and that prostitute that you called your mother dares to cheat on me? Despite everything I did for her? She’s an orphan without any family still I made sure she had the best education and got her a job. She became mother to the most beautiful girl in the world that’s you Rebecca and you dare shout on me because of that woman?” he asked
“Exactly dad, I have been suspended from school because I followed a guy home and even kissed him but he was there for me when I Almost failed what did you expext me to do now?” She asked
Mr Ken’s eye widened, he can’t believe his ears, his dear daughter Rebecca left the school because of a guy? He was loosing it….
“What….?
“Yes Dad, did you for once asked Mom why she did it? Are you really sure that you can trust DNA test? Did you forget how she stood by you? Is this how you repay her?” she asked.
Tessy and Nicki can’t say anything anymore, they just watched the father and daughter duo fight without saying anything. Mr Ken became defeated when he heard what she said.
After learning that Rebecca was his only daughter, he was proud Because he hears bad news about Tessy and Dan is a sickle cell patient that faints Everytime. But he was happy because Rebecca didn’t have health issues and was studious.
This is thesame Rebecca that was suspended from school for leaving the school for a guy’s house.
He felt like fainting but his phone rang Suddenly.
“Yes, Rtd Col Ryu Ken on the line?” He said but the phone dropped when he heard what the caller said.
Rebecca was surprised….
“What happened dad? Tessy asked the Rebecca’s phone rang too and at the same time Tessy’s phone. They looked at each other before picking the call.
Rebecca was stupefied “What!?….. She yelled
“Did you call the wrong number? It can’t be true!! Tessy yelled.
“What happened? Nicki asked
