Chapter 12
Baek-Hyun was walking around the park still trying to connect to Ji-ho, he immediately went still and was dumbfounded to see Ji-ho hugging an unknown man and he could feel the connection between them even with the way she was smiling to herself, then he saw them pulls away from each other arms.
“Is so good to finally meet you”Dang-Geun said.
” me too, how come I didn’t realize it was you who was sending the gifts?”. Ji-ho asked.
“Well, maybe because I didn’t use my real name, rather than my stage name ‘Bitgaram’ (빛가람)(Bitgaram means shining river)
“Bitgaram?”
“yeah, is my stage name”.
” Woah, that’s nice, I like that”they chuckle
“Shall we”. Dang-Geun said and he took her hand, they were about to take a step when Baek-Hyun interrupted them from behind.
” Miss Ji-ho”. he called and they turned in his direction. “hi, you came? ” he smiled at her forcedly as his gaze met their hands holding each other.
“Yes, I did”. she replied.
” Um, okay, I was trying to reach you, but your number wasn’t connecting”.
“Why were you trying to reach me? I didn’t — ” she got interrupted by Dang-Geun.
“Do you know him?” he asked as he noticed the hard look Baek-Hyun was giving him.
“yes, he is– “. Baek-Hyun cut her short.
” Her boyfriend”. he said and ji-ho wide mouth in surprise.
“What? Her boyfriend”. Dang-Geun scoffs.
” You heard me right, now hands off her”. he threatened staring hard at him.
“Baek-Hyun”. Ji-ho yelled trying to control her anger, then she sighed and faced Dang-Geun smiling. ” can you excuse us for a moment, I will join you shortly”.
“Okay, I will be waiting for you at the cinema, don’t forget we have just a few minutes for the snow to come out”.
” Okay, see you soon”. they smiled at each other and he left then she turned her gaze back to Baek-Hyun.” you wanna tell me what your problem is?”.
“So, you are going to see the first snow with him? A stranger?”
“He is not a stranger, how dare you utter sure words in front of him?” she said angrily.
“is the truth, so, he is the stalker that has been sending you gifts all this while”. he scoffs
” He is not a stalker”.
“Oh really? How could you be so free with someone you just met, you don’t even know him”.
” That’s none of your business, and for your information, this is not the first time I am seeing him, and in case you don’t know, he is my old school college mate and we have known each other way before you were born,” she said.
“Excuse me! Are you trying to say that I am a minor?”.
” Yes, you are, and you need to stay within your limits, you are my student and I am your teacher, so you will have to respect that fact”. she said sounding serious and he scoffed.
“Oh really? How come your whole body is always triggered whenever this minor of a boy pulls you closer to himself”. he said and Ji-ho was caught off guard as he pulled her into his arms and held her around her waist preventing her from escaping, and the flowers fell off her hand.
” Baek-Hyun, what are you doing?”. she asked trying to free herself from his arms.
“Trying to figure out something and also to remind you that I am not a minor but a man that makes your heart skip a bit”. he smirks and flirts with her face and Ji-ho was struggling so hard to free herself from his arms but he was stronger than her.
“Let go of me Baek-Hyun!”. she yelled
” And what if I don’t?”. he stare affectionately into her eyes, and then down to her sëxy lips.” your lips”. he flirts with it. “when was the last time someone kissed your lips? Or let me assume, have you been kissed before?”. he smirks and bites his lips sëxily
” Let me go!” she gulped anxiously
“Relax my little pumpkin, I know you want to feel my lips on yours, I can feel your whole body caving for it, should I proceed Miss Ji-ho?”. he stares back into her eyes, and he could see the burning desire and nervousness in them, he smiles and he was enjoying the way he was teasing her emotionally, suddenly they felt something white, very cold and wet fell on their body, they look up and the snow started falling on them.
” Mom, what does snow stand for in a relationship?” a boy asked his mother as they walked by.
“It means love son, and it always brings lovers together no matter what happens”. she replied, and Baek-Hyun stared back into ji-ho eyes and they met each other gaze.
” You see Miss ji-ho, even the snow approved our love, I don’t care if you believe it or not, we are destined for each other my little pumpkin”. he winks at her and then pulls away from her. “See you around Miss Ji-ho”. he waved at her and left her side. ji-ho stared after him and she could feel her chest beating fast she couldn’t believe he is having an effect on her. She was still lost in her thoughts when Dang-Geun called her from behind, he was heartbroken to see the flowers he gave to her on the floor with snow covering it, ji-ho turn in his direction.
” Are you okay?”. he asked as he moved to her and picked up the flower from the floor.
“Er, am sorry, it fell off my hand”. she said as she took it from him.
” Why are you still here? I was waiting for you?” he said trying to control his sad mood.
“Am sorry for keeping you waiting, shall we”. she took his hand.
“Sure”. they smile at each other and walk hand in hand, Su-ho catches sight of them and calls out to their attention, they move to her and ji-ho introduces Dang-Geun to Su-ho and they exchange pleasantries and continue with their fun.
The next day, Baek-Hyun was in his room with his friends, he relaxed on the bed operating his phone and his friends sat on the couch operating their phones as well.
“Baek-Hyun”. Chan-yeol called
” what”. he replied.
“How is your relationship with Miss Ji-ho going?” he asked and Baek-Hyun raised his face to him.
“Chan-yeol, why do you want to know the relationship between us? Are you now a stalker?”.
” Why are you suddenly so aggressive, is not a bad thing that I asked”. He said and he got hit on the head by Byung-ho and he groaned in pain. “ouch!, what did you do that for?”. he yelled at him and Baek-Hyun giggled.
” Serve you right, why do you like poking your nose in people’s businesses?” Byung-ho said.
“I wasn’t poking, I was simply being concerned”. he frowned.
” Chan-yeol, my relationship with Miss Ji-ho is going on perfectly well “.
” Really? How come she ditched out on you last night at the National Park?”.chan-yeol teases.
“How do you mean?”.Byung-ho asked.
” Didn’t you sense that he came back to join us after rejecting our proposal for Miss Ji-ho, so, she ditched him”. he said and Baek-Hyun sneered.
Ji-ho was sitting on her bed operating her laptop when she heard a knock on the door and she stood up to get it.
“Coming”. She opened the door and was surprised to see Baek-Hyun standing at her doorstep smirking at her. ” Baek-Hyun? W-what are you doing here?” she sputtered.
“To see you”. he walked in and shut the door behind him, Ji-ho was feeling uncomfortable with the way he was grinning at her. She pushed back and Baek-Hyun was pushing closer to her.
” Baek-Hyun, what are you doing?”. she said and gulped nervously, suddenly she was caught off guard as Baek-Hyun pushed her to the bed and lay on top of her, she tried to push him off but he pinned her hands on the bed. “let go of me!”.
” What, little pumpkin, don’t you like it when I am close to you like this”. he said staring affectionately into her eyes and at the same time flirty with her body.
“Stop it! Just let me go, this is not right”.
” What’s not right my little pumpkin, I can feel your heart beating fast, I know you want me” he kissed her cheek down to her neck, Ji-ho let out a gasp and closed her eyes enjoying his touches around her body and the tender kisses on her neck. Suddenly, the alarm clock rang jotting her out of her dream, she sat upright on the bed and then exhaled.
“Oh my gosh, is just a dream, but why am I having this dream about him? What are you doing to me, Baek-Hyun, you don’t only stalk me in reality but even in my dreams”. She inhales deeply and checks her wristwatch and lets out a gasp. ” gosh! am late”. she scrambled to the bathroom.
