Chapter Seven
Mr.George and his wife came to the hospital after they got a call from the doctor, They were seated in the office with a great shock in their faces.
“What? That’s impossible!”.Mr.George yelled.
“I am confused as well, the DNA matches with yours”.The doctor said talking to Mr.George.
“We are confused here, are you trying to say my husband had a child from somewhere because that’s impossible”.Mrs.Ava said.
“I am not saying that…” he got interrupted.
“Then what are you saying doctor!”.Mr. James snapped.
“There might be mix up somewhere, now let me ask you, which hospital did you birth your child in?”.
“City hospital”. The two women said and they stared at each other.
“Good, what year?”.
“August 17th, 2005”. The two men said.
“This is all making sense, what if the babies got switched”.
“That’s impossible! I had a twin, a boy and a girl”.Mrs.Ava snapped.
“Please doctor, what is going on?”.Mrs.Lucia said sadly.
“Excuse me for a moment”.He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

Jasmine was in the library with her best friend reading at the same time chatting.
“You think so?”.Olivia asked.
“Yeah, I know so”.They chuckle and then Nathan walks up to them and sits down.
“Hey ladies”. He said and Jasmine rolled her eyes and Olivia blush at him.
“Hey Nathan, what are you doing here?”.Olivia asked.
“Well, I saw you girls reading, so I got the odds to read with you ladies too, if you don’t mind?”.He said smiling at Jasmine.
“Sure, we don’t mind”.Olivia said and Jasmine scoffed.
“You are not saying anything, Jasmine”.Nathan said.
“I don’t have anything to say to you, since you came here to read, you can”.She said and returned to her book.
“Thanks,”.he said, and there a silent moments before he spoke. “So, I was hoping we could grab some snacks together after school”.
“Sure,” Olivia said excitedly.
“I will pass”.Jasmine said and Olivia stared surprisedly at her.
“Why Jasmine”.
“Because I have somewhere to go after school”.She said.
“Where could that be? I can take you”.Nathan offer.
“No thanks”.She stood up with her bag and book. “Am leaving, are you coming Olivia?”. She asked and walked away. Olivia hesitated for a while and then carried her bag.
“Am sorry Nathan”.She said and ran to catch up with Jasmine.
“Why is she so difficult”.Nathan sighed frustratedly.
Along the school corridor, Jasmine and Olivia were walking hand in hand.
“You have to stop giving Nathan the cold attitude”.
“I told you I don’t like him”.
“Why? Is it because he is your brother’s friend?”.Olivia asked as they diverted their direction to the classroom.
“Is not because of that”.Jasmine said as they sat down in their seat.” I know what he is trying to do, and I won’t give him that chance, everyone knows how flirtatious he is trying to get on every girl’s pants”.
“But he hasn’t gotten to mine, I am sure it will be different with you”.
“Never! I don’t see myself accepting him, he is not my type”.
“Who is your type then?”.
“Please don’t ask me that”.Jasmine said and the bell rang.
Meanwhile, after the doctor gets off the phone with the person he was talking to, he asks all of them to come with him as they head up to the city hospital, where they meet the doctor and they leave for his office
“Is a pleasure to have you all here”.Doctor Sam said. He is the best doctor in his department and owns the highest rank and he never makes mistakes in his work.” I was surprised when you called me that you were coming, Doc. Ben”.He said.
“Yes Doctor, I called because we got a problem on our hands, you probably do remember these persons here?”.He asked and the doctor stared at them and rolled his head.
“No, but I know Mr.George and his amiable wife here, I have seen them a lot in magazines and TV stations, but I haven’t come across them face to face, but it’s an honor to have you here”. He said and they smiled at him and then turned to Mr. James and his wife and gave them a warm smile and they returned it to him.
“Yeah, but we have a situation in our hands, these two women had their babies delivered here in the year 2005”.He said.
“Oh really?”.
“Yes, we need the files and the nurses in charge of them during their delivery”.
“Why? Is there a problem?”.
“Yes, I guess there was a mix-up somewhere”.He said and Doctor Sam stared confusedly at them.
A moment later, the docvment and the nurses on duty that day were brought to them, they glanced through it.
“This whole thing doesn’t still make sense to me”.Mrs.Ava said.
“Sorry doctor, who was in charge of bathing the babies?”.
“That should be…..”He said thinking as he glanced through the docvment and pointed at a photo of a nurse.”That’s her, nurse Mary”.He said.
“Does she still work here?”Mr.James asked.
“No, she got married ten years ago and moved into another city with her husband”.
“Do you have her contact or anything?”.Doc.Ben asked.
“Old on a sec”.He said as he stood up and left his office.
Later in the day, the kids were worried about why their parents were not back from work.
“Did they have an emergency travel or something? “.Blake asked.
“I am worried, they have never taken this long at work except when they travel”.Jasmine said.
“We shouldn’t worry, I am sure they are fine concerning the victim Dad’s car knock down”.Desmond said.
“I want all these to be over soon”.Jasmine said sadly.
“Mom and Dad have been stressed out ever since the incident”.Blake said.
“But they said the victim was ok, why are they still stressed over it?”.Jasmine asked confusedly and they sighed tiredly.
