“You are sorry?” Lola gasped and squeezed her eyes tightly, tears leaked out of them.
“Lola. I am sorry, I really mean it” Myles apologized profusely.
“You and S-shawn destroyed my life along with my best friend.you put me through hell and you…apologise like it’s so easy to… forgive and forget” Lola muttered, her voice breaking.
“I know that I did the worst things to you and really don’t deserve forgiveness. I put you through hell” Myles admitted and sighed in defeat.
He rested his back on the glassy wall and had a sad smile on his lips. “I had been through something worse but it didn’t give me the right to capture those women and force them into slavery or treat people like trash but most of my life, I was treated like garbage and every happiness I had was snatched away from me”
“I just…purposely hurt people because I am hurt as well.”
“That’s not an excuse for hurting people like me”
“My mother died after giving birth to me in the orphanage and I was left there, most of those nuns were abusers and devils. I had to run away at age twelve and turned to street life as my refuge, I watched my friend of nine get lynched and killed because he stole a loaf bread!”Myles yelled.
” I got Anita pregnant while we’re teenagers everything was fine till I got in trouble with my boss and was blamed for poisoning his wife whereas I was framed. He chased us and I had to leave Anita dead and ran away with a two month old baby, I was f*cking sixteen for the love of God!”Myles said, there was sadness and pain in his eyes, Lola could help but notice the tears in his eyes.
” I got employed by a sadist and freak who was g*y and took delight in abusing me to keep Summer alive, turning me to a freaking s*x worker in a club, I know what it is to be abused and used and tortured but they showed me no mercy then why would I show mercy to others”
“Summer was a baby, no one helped me take care of her but I did everything in my power to feed and keep us alive. We were treated to garbage, she was the reason I endured those things because she was the only good thing I had left in my life. Almost all my life, I had never known the way of being good “Myles expressed his emotions, he didn’t realise that his cheeks were already wet with tears.
” I escaped from him and I remembered staying under the bridge with Summer. We were both treated like objects but then Mr Hunt found me when I beat up a guy who tried touching Summer. He brought us out of poverty and trained me to be an assassin, heartless and made me the monster that you see. They all ruined any good I had left in me, Summer was the only good thing around me but I have nothing in here” Myles whimpered and touched his heart.
“I’m like a living dead, I can’t even sleep peacefully at night without taking pills”
Lola noticed that when she slept in his room. She was sobbing but not because of her life but how much they had ruined him. She couldn’t believe that she was feeling dirty for him.
“My actions can’t be excused because you are the most beautiful soul I have seen and I can’t turn back the hands of time but I’m really sorry Lola, for being a freak and an evil beast but that’s all I know” Myles said with warm tears trickling down his cheeks.
Myles had never felt this guilty before. He almost died and it made he realise a lot of things.
” I changed from Isaiah Lawrence to Myles Hunt” Myles chuckled bitterly.
“Isaiah?”
“My real name is Isaiah Lawrence, I changed it because it brought horrible memories and I changed it for public records” Myles sighed.
“I think I like it better than Myles” Lola forced a chuckle. She wiped her tears and exhaled sharply.
“Maybe I need time…”
“I’m willing to let you go,” Myles uttered, shocking Lola.
“What!”
“I will give you your freedom and every other person, maybe along with a compensation for all my evil. I’m feeling so f*cked up” Myles cleaned his face and sighed again.
Lola gazed at him and she didn’t feel as happy about the freedom as she wanted.

Hunt’s mansion>
Allison was outside the slave house, seated at the side of it.
A hand touched her shoulder and she flinched.
“Hi” Lance smiled as she looked up at him.
“Sir” Allison slightly bowed and cleared her throat uncomfortably.
“Can I sit with you?” Lance asked and she nodded.
He sat beside her and she shifted a bit from him.
“I came to apologise for kissing you that day, it wasn’t right” Lance said. “I hope you don’t get things confused, I was drunk and I apologise for my irresponsible act” Lance apologised and stood up.
“Do you forgive me?”
“Of course, sir,” Allison chuckled, fighting back her tears.
“Good, my apologies again” Lance said and walked away.
Allison let out a sob immediately he left. She had never felt this hurt and betrayed in her life. She felt betrayed.
Allison allowed her tears to flow freely, she squeezed her palms tightly and a liquid dropped from her clenched fist.
Allison stared at her and it was blood.
“It hurts so much”

Next morning, Myles returned to the mansion with Lola but they had been awkwardly avoiding speaking to each other.
Myles went to the gym and worked out. He called Summer and she was fine. He went back to his room, freshened up and headed to the armoury.
He met Lance who didn’t notice him.
“Lancelot” Myles said and startled him.
Lance was more startled to see him alive because he thought that he would be dead by now. He suddenly felt guilty about it but he became more afraid of Myles.
“Why are you staring at me like a ghost?” Myles rolled his eyes and walked to the where the weapons were hung.
“Why are you standing there like a statue?” Myles asked and scoffed.
“Are there new jobs?I feel like shedding some blood,” Myles said half jokingly and half seriously.
Lance swallowed hard but before he could respond, the door flung open.
Atlas barged in and went to grab Myles’ collar.
“You killed Cherry,you bastard!!!” Atlas shrieked.
“How dare you?You stole my father’s love and then claimed everything that was supposed to be mine!” Atlas yelled and was about to punch Myles but his hand was caught midway.
“Tsk, tsk, you really wanna die” Myles gritted his teeth and punched Atlas in the face. It knocked him to the floor.
Lance had already left the armoury and he came back with guards.
“keep him in the dungeon, don’t torture him for the sake of Aunt Marie” Myles smirked.
Atlas had not still recovered from the punch, he was carried up and taken away.
“Weakling” Myles smirked.
“He reminds me of Carding, long time that I had seen my dog” Myles chuckled and stared at Lance who was still staring weirdly at him.
“Lance, are you okay?” Myles asked with concern in his voice.
“Yeah” Lance replied uncomfortably.

Dread’s house>
A man was staring at the video on his laptop while gritting his teeth in anger.
“Why hasn’t the darn video loaded?!” He yelled. He was a young man, not too handsome but he was a dangerous man and known as Dread.
“Sir, it would take some time. ” His employee shivered.
The video finally loaded and Dread watched as the girl turned into a wolf and killed his sister. Dread was extremely hurt by what he had watched.
They had found Beatrice’s corpse in a warehouse and unfortunately there was a camera there.
Dread replayed the video and paused it at Gwen’s face.
“Find everything about this wolf beast,I want to give her the most painful death ever” Dread said with traces of tears in his eyes.
“Yes sir”

FC cult> later that night.
“Long time,” Earl smiled at her. It was one of his dangerous smiles, he had gone by different names to prevent Myles from finding him but he stayed behind the scenes damaging him.
He had ruined Myles’ life by framing him for killing his wife but someone had to take the blame. He had plans for Summer but he wouldn’t be executing them for now.
“Myles punished me but set me free today. I need you to get rid of this girl” Hennessy muttered, she looked lean within a few days of her fast. She wondered why Myles released her but she was happy about it.
Hennessy removed a picture from her pocket and gave it to him.
Earl collected it and gazed at the picture, his eyes widened in shock.
“What are you doing with the picture of my first girlfriend?” Earl asked in shock.
“Earl, are you crazy?”
“Where did you get her picture?!”
“That girl is in her twenties, you are over fifty” Hennessy gasped.
Earl stood up to his feet and gazed at Lola’s picture.
“She’s my daughter”
