“Mom, are you the one who closed down the clubhouse? Cos I went there last night, and it was closed down. Then, when I came back home, you were asleep already. Did something happen?” Gladys asked from the dining table; she was eating breakfast already.
“You said you were going to stop going there if I closed down the clubhouse, so I did. I’m trying not to have any regrets ” Frida replied as she went to the dining.
She sat next to her daughter, and dished out her food.
“I’ll be going out in the evening to get some groceries,” She said.
“Should I just go in your place?” Gladys asked, and Frida shook her head.
“It’s been long I did grocery shopping,” she replied, and Gladys chuckled. Silence followed afterward as they ate quietly.
“Where could Dora be? Has she perhaps seen Bills?” Frida said inwardly.
“She mustn’t meet him; I need to do that first. I need to get hold of Bills first,” she muttered.
“Were you talking to me?” Gladys asked.
“Oh, not really. Enjoy your meal,” Frida forced a smile as she continued eating.

MARIANO’S MANSION
It’s been a month and days now since Menodora got to school. Mariano has been missing her a lot, but going to visit her is what he couldn’t just do because of those trying to harm her.
He was just happy he could detect if anything wants to happen to her. He actually bought a tracker and inserted it on the expensive necklace he bought for her as a gift, though she had no idea about it.
If she’s in danger, it will reflect red on his phone, and since she left, the tracker hasn’t reacted, so he knew she was safe.
Mariano left his room all dressed in his usual casual but expensive clothes. He got to the sitting room and met his mom arranging the dining.
After he ate her food the last time with Menodora, Rose has been the one making his meals even though he doesn’t trust her.
It wasn’t easy, yet he was trying to be on good terms with her. It’s hard, but he still tries his best not to talk harshly at her.
“Mariano, I made breakfast, your favorite,” Rose said immediately she saw him.
Mariano didn’t say a word as he walked to the dining room and sat. Rose opened the dishes and began dishing out his food. He just stared at her as she did her thing.
“Let’s eat together,” he said, and she looked up at him.
“Huh?”
“Nevermind,” He said and started eating. Rose smiled, seeing her son enjoy the food.
Mariano stopped eating and faced his mom; their eyes met. Immediately it happened, he almost choked. He took the glass of water beside him and drank, then stood up.
“I’m off to work,” He muttered lowly and started to leave. Rose just stared at him until he was out of the house.
She smiled and started packing up the plates. Monica helped her with it too.
They were done, and Rose left for her room. She was happy her son wasn’t that hard on her.
what more could she ask for?
She sat on her bed and smiled.
Her door opened, and she faced the door only to see the person she’d been seeing. The person smirked, and a shiver ran down her spine.
“You’re dead, stop haunting me.”
“You’ll never know peace. I’ll keep haunting you until you die and follow me,” the person laughed.
Rose swallowed nothing as she watched her door close in a loud bang. She gasped shockingly, her hands producing sweat.

DI– FARIANO ENTERPRISE
Mariano’s expensive car came to a halt in front of the company. He left the car and walked into the building. The employees who saw him greeted him with a bow as he walked past them.
Mrs. Kendra came to him with a smile.
“I’ve seen your great work. It seems I knew what you are capable of that’s why I gave you control over the company,” Mariano said.
“It was my pleasure to help you out,” Mrs. Kendra smiled as they got into Mariano’s office. She placed some docvments in front of him, and he looked at her.
“Oh! Here are the profits we made. At a point, it decreased, but then since last week, sales have been going well,” Mrs. Kendra said.
Mariano took the docvments from her and opened them. He went through them, then nodded in satisfaction. He faced her and smiled at her.
“Thanks, Mrs. Kendra,” he said.
“You’ve changed a lot,” she said.
“Yeah, my brain is occupied with a girl right now,” he replied while Mrs. Kendra chuckled.
“If you don’t mind, Sir Mariano, I’ll leave you alone to do your stuff,” she said with a bow.
“I might just fire you if you continue with the formalities,” Mariano chuckled, and Mrs. Kendra smiled gently before walking out of the office.
“Should I just quit my work and hand her the company so she’ll help me manage it?” he smiled, going through the docvments again.
His eyes were still fixed on the docvments when Suzie walked into his office. She smiled when she saw him. She went to him, and stood behind him, caressing his shoulders.
“Good morning, boss,” she smiled.
“And why haven’t I seen a coffee on the table?” he asked.
“Oh, I’ll do that right away,” she replied and left the office. She came back in no time and placed the coffee in front of him.
He tore his gaze from the docvments to the coffee. He took it, then stood on his feet. He took a sip while Suzie smiled.
She went closer and touched his chest, but funny enough, he wasn’t moved. His d_1ck didn’t even jerk in his shorts. He stared at her, and she made to kiss him, but he turned his face.
“You should leave, Suzie. I quit sleeping around” He smiled.
“You quit sleeping around? But I’m horny right now,” She muttered and bit her lips seductively.
Mariano giggled.
“You should leave while I’m still being gentle because it seems you’ve forgotten your place in this company,” He said, but Suzie was adamant.
She made to kiss him again, and angrily, he poured the coffee on her face. He took his phone and placed a call.
“Is this the police? There’s a thief in my office. You should come to Di–” Mariano hadn’t finished talking when Suzie rushed out of the office.
“Are you there, sir?” the officer asked from the other end.
“Oh, sorry. The person wasn’t trying to steal but arrange my office because she’s my secretary,” Mariano said and ended the call.
“If she continues this way, I won’t hesitate to send her behind bars,” Mariano said and sat back on his swivel chair. He turned on his computer and began going through it.
The police officer stared at the fixed phone strangely, then dropped it down.
“He should be arrested for a prank call. He’s lucky he didn’t tell me his workplace.”

DORIAN APARTMENT, 6 PM
There was a knock on the door, and she expected to see Santario but was surprised to see unknown boys. She shifted back, but one of them grabbed her hair and landed a slap.
“How dare you try to hang out with Santario?” one of them said.
“I didn’t. He fell in love with me instead, and I love him too. I’m not scared of you all because I’m sure he’ll protect me since I’m carrying his child ” Dorian shouted while the boys laughed.
“Kill her,” one of the guys received the text, then ÇOçked his gun.
“Ahh!” She screamed as she heard a gunshot.
She opened her eyes to see if she was shot but was surprised to see one of the boys down dead. She stared at the door with the guys, and her eyes widened when she saw Santario.
He wasn’t putting on a smiley face as he kept shooting without hesitation until the six boys were all dead. He faced Dorian.
“Are you okay?” he asked, and she ran to him, hugging him tight.
“I’m scared,” she muttered, tightening the hug.
“I won’t let anyone touch you,” he kissed her hair before stroking it gently.

MARIANO’S MANSION
Mariano came back from work and left for his bathroom to bath.. he came back only in his towel as he dried his hair with another.
He was staring at the mirror when he sighted Menodora’s image on the mirror.
” Am I missing her that much? Should I just go see her?” He wondered as he stared at the figure in the mirror.
” And it’s been a month yet, you never came visiting..” She said.
He faced her at once.
” Wait, I wasn’t hallucinating?” He wondered and she hugged him.
” I miss you so much” She muttered in the hug. He made to pull her away, but she wouldn’t budge so he let her be.
” It’s funny that I’m experiencing an erection right now just because you’re hugging me” He said so she would let got yet she didn’t.
She stared at his face for a while before letting go. She smiled cutely at him.
” I missed you badly” She smiled again and Mariano pulled her closer.
” I love you” He said and before she could talk, he kissed her lips. She didn’t hesitate to kiss him back.
They kept kissing roughly while Mariano’s diçk kept getting fleshy. She could feel his erection but she was surprised she didn’t want the kiss to stop.

He chuckled cos that was actually what he needed to hear. Hesmiled again before pulling her closer
” Let’s f*ck until I forget all my hurtful memories” She said and he carried her to the bed, smiling naughtily.
