“Mariam….”Tony began but Mariam cut him off.
“Get lost and die! I h@të you!!”She screamed angrily and pulled the trigger,the bullet flew and rammed into Tony’s forehead, shattering his skull.

“OBARA JESUS CHRIST!!!(BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!!!)”Tony screamed and woke up from sleep, while panting heavily,hot beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
He was still holding Vanessa’s hand,so he only hugged her hand with his eyes closed.
It’s all a dream! He thought he was dead. Jeez! He was scared to earth! Thinking that he won’t be able to tell her of his feelings,that alone wrecked his heart. How was Vanessa going to handle the news if this wasn’t a dream? How about his friends? What would have happened to them? Thank goodness it was a dream!! He’s still alive!!
“Which kian dream be this again? Ah Mariam!!! God please, wh@tëver that will bring Mariam back in our lives,die by fire by thunder!!”Tony prayed inwardly,but his eyes flicked open when his phone began ringing.
His heart began beating fastly as he took his shaky hand to his pocket,on seeing the callers ID,he fell off from the stool in shock.
The call was from the station!! Was his dream going to come to pass already? No!!
📞”Hello sir,Mariam Austin just escaped from the cell”
📞”Jesus!!!”Tony screamed,still sitting on the floor.
This was exactly how it began in his dream,hope everything won’t repeat itself huh? He thought and stood up before looking at Vanessa’s face who wasn’t still moving.
📞”We’re only calling for you to be more careful,we are still in search of her!!”
Bang!!! Tony fell down heavily again,why is the cop repeating everything he said in the dream? Does that mean he’s dream is coming to past already?
📞”How could you all be careless? Someone as dangerous as her to escape from your custody, putting our lives in the lane huh?”Tony shouted, finally finding his voice.
📞”We’re sorry,we are doing our best to get her handicapped. Our men have swoop into action,if you’re worried about your safety we would be sending some officers to…..”
📞”Then send them already! I’m d@mn scared!! Sh|t!”Tony cut him off,pissed off already.
📞”They would be on their way soon!”The cop replied and hung up the call.
Tony sat down,still thinking about the dream he had. That was way too much of a dream! He quickly did the sign of cross, while continuously shaking his head speaking inaudible words.
He took Vanessa’s hand again, caressing it slowly while looking at her Pale face.
“How long do you intend been there? Aren’t you tired already? Just wake up please! I really do miss you and it’s been had for me, Amour wake up!!”He quivered, burying his face in her palms as he began crying lowly.
Vanessa’s finger’s made a little move in Tony’s hand and he looked up with teary face and eyes,his eyes glistened in happiness and in joy, when he saw Vanessa staring at him with weak eyes.
So there’s finally a chance for them? When he was loosing hope slowly,she’s woken up!! God indeed,is a Miracle working God! How much more,can he thank him?
“You’re… you’re awake?!”He smiled out tears, Vanessa could only smile as a drop of tears came out from the corner of her eyes.
“Doctor!!!”Tony screamed happily.

√√AN HOUR LATER √√
“She’s okay now. You don’t have to be scared!!”The doctor said with a smile and Tony couldn’t hide his happiness.
“She won’t slump back to coma again right?”Tony asks to be sure and the doctor nodded with a smile.
“She strong now,so you won’t be coming here to cry everyday”The doctor teased and Tony gave him signs not to talk.
Vanessa only smiled while looking at tony.
Taking one look at them,the doctor walked out of Vanessa’s ward.
“You cried?”Vanessa asks tony weakly,tony only shifted closer to her before hugging her tightly to himself.
“Let’s stay like this for a moment!”He whispered in her ears, Vanessa smiled before wrapping her hands on his back, reciprocating the hug.
The stayed still in each other’s arms, with a smile on their faces.
“I was really scared when I got stabbed”Vanessa said slowly,with her eyes closed.
“I was scared too! Really scared. I thought I lost you,but thanks for coming back”tony mumbled with a smile, while stroking her hair fondly.
Tessa and the rest rushed towards the ward,but when they saw tony and Vanessa hugging,they stood still without going further.
“Let’s give them sometime!”Tessa suggested and the rest nodded in agreement. They turned to leave but Vanessa caught a glimpse of them,she waved at them with a smile which got them running back.
“Thanks for fighting!”Tessa squealed happily, while pushing tony off so she could hug Vanessa,but Tony pulled her back.
“No hug! She’s still waek”he told them sternly and Tessa pouted.
“You just hugged her huh! So why can’t I?”She retorted and Vanessa chuckled.
She opened her arms for Tessa who quickly rushed in,not without stucking out her tongue to Tony.
“It’s a relief to see you’re awake”Kenn smiled and Vanessa returned the back.
“It’s good to have you back”Amanda said, going over to hug her too.
“Welcome back Nessa”Victor said and Vanessa smiled.
How did she surround herself with such lovely and caring friends? Indeed, Mariam lost the precious jewel’s of friends she had cos of obsession. And talking about Mariam where is she? That ringed in Vanessa’s head and she turned swiftly to Tony.
“Mar…Mariam where is she?”She panicked and Tony smiled lightly before hugging her.
“She’ve been arrested”Tony lied.
Though he knew Mariam escaped from the prison, breaking the news to Vanessa now is not the best thing to do,she just woke up now. Things might get complicated,so lying to her was the best for now.
“What would you love to eat? Just name it,I’ll get it for you”Tony asks, while stroking her hair happily.
Kenn and the rest exchanged a knowing look before smiling slowly.

√√A DESERTED VILLAGE √√
A lady could be seen, walking down the dirty yet deserted road of the village. She had a veil covering half of her face,only her eyes could be seen as she walked cautiously yet fastly.
She finally walked into an old hut,very dirty and unkempt.
“Jeez!!”She scoffed loudly,removing the veil from her face and her full face came to view, reviewing non other than MARIAM.
She opened the wooden window of the hut then sneezed loudly before convering her nose with her palms when a rotten odour hit her nose.
“I’m on run cos of then,more reason I won’t forgive them!”She balled her fist tightly, while searching for something.
She went over to the corner of the room,then brought out a dusty Mat but a scream left her mouth when she saw lots of rat in their numbers,looking at her without making a move to run.
“JESUS! WITCHES!!!!”She screamed, falling on her butt.

“I’m full”Vanessa pouted, while rubbing her tummy but Tony shook his head.
“You’re not,just another one spoon”he gestured at her with a smile.
He’s currently feeding her,the rest had gone back to the lodge, leaving them both.
“But you’ve been saying that”Vanessa pouted again and Tony sighed.
“Remember you were in coma for two weeks,you didn’t eat neither did you drink so why don’t you eat up everything?”He nudged at her and Vanessa squeezed her face, which got tony smiling.
“Okay fine. But I’m still going to feed you again in the next 30 minutes”He replied her and Vanessa nodded.
Her phone began ringing and Tony passed the phone to her.
“Mommy!!”She squealed, swiping the green Icon.
📞”My baby how are you doing now?”Mrs Bryant cried over the phone and Vanessa smiled.
It’s actually a facetime call,so they both are seeing each other.
📞”I’m good mom and you?”She asks and her mom kept crying.
📞”Thanks baby for coming back to us,I thought I lost….”Mrs Bryant was cut off when the husband took the phone from her.
📞”Daddy!”Vanessa smiled and Mr Bryant chuckled happily.
📞”How are you princess?”
📞”I’m a lot better now,thanks to my handsome rommie who stood by me”Vanessa grinned and winked at tony who smiled at her.
📞”Okay,once you’ve been discharged from the hospital,we need to discuss”Mr Bryant said with no hint of unseriouness in his voice. Only he knew what he wanted them to discuss.
📞”Dad can’t we discuss it now?”Vanessa asks slowly and Mr Bryant shook his head with a smile.
📞”Not now princess,take alot of rest okay? And remember to thank your rommie for us,I’ll speak with him some other time”Mr Bryant said and hung up the call.
“Time to eat again”Tony laughed and Vanessa pouted while blinking her lashes cutely.
“It’s not even upto 30 minutes you said!”Vanessa rolled eye and Tony chuckled before shifting more closer to her.
“Time to bath then”he whispered in her ears and Vanessa froze on her spot.
Tony smiled and stood up from the bed, before carrying her to the small bathroom in the ward, Vanessa could do nothing than stare at his face throughout.

√√MARIAM’S HUT√√
After having a cool shower abi bath in her palm frond bathroom,she came out with a wrapper tied round her body.
She threw her hands in the air, before placing her hands on her waist while looking around the environment she was in.
“This place is really disgusting. Mom and dad aren’t ready to accept me back for now. Urghh Vanessa,you just ruined my life!”She growled h@tëfully.
“I’m only here cos of one mission,so enjoy with tony while it lasts cos I’ll be coming back, I’ll never give up on tony. If I can’t have him,then you won’t have him too!”She laughed manically and went inside the hut.

√√TWO DAY’S LATER~TONY’S LODGE √√
“Jeez! Finally back here!”Vanessa squealed happily, climbing on the bed.
She actually got discharged today and you can imagine how happy she is.
“Careful please”Tony told her, going over to keep the bags.
He came out from the room,then met Vanessa still giggling happily.
She was already laying down on the bed, while kicking her legs in the air,tony walked closer to the bed and sat beside her.
“You’re just returning now and you’re playing this much? You’re still not strong”Tony told her with a slight smile and she giggled loudly this time.
“Is this how you’ve gotten addicted to this room huh?”He leaned forward to her and whispered to her, Vanessa felt her throat ran dry when his hot breath fanned her neck.
She was engrossed in her giggling that she didn’t see him sat close to her.
“No! I just missed the room!”She replied nervously, looking away from tony who turned her face to him.
“You didn’t miss me?”Tony asks her,his blazing eye boring into hers, Vanessa gulped nervously.
“Of course I did! I really missed you”She replied and Tony smiled lovingly,gazing at her affectionately while caressing her cheeks slowly.
He climbed the bed,then sat properly on it,his two legs folded on his front,he pulled Vanessa up and she sat down too,with the both facing each. He took hold of her hand,then kissed her knuckles softly before looking at her in the eye.
“I missed you too,so badly that I felt my heart breaking into a million times whenever I visited and you weren’t moving. It felt like I was gradually going insane and the thought of not letting you know of my feelings for you wrecked my heart more!”He began and Vanessa could feel the butterflies dancing crazily in her stomach with her heart palipating.
“Will you accept me and my feelings for you? I really do love….”
“Shhhh!!”Vanessa placed her index finger on his lips, shushing him up.
“You don’t have to ask. Let’s start dating!”Vanessa said with her eyes glistening in happiness, tony chuckled and took his hands to her chin, lifting her face up before claiming her lips in a slow but tender kiss.
Vanessa shifted more closer,her hands found way to his hair and she dipped in her hands in his hair, melting into the kiss completely. Tony’s hand trailed over her back and he pulled her more closer, ravishing her lips crazily.
Their hearts beating loudly in their chest, with they both enjoying the taste of their lips. Tony’s hand left her back and went to her @$$,he grazed it and Vanessa Mõ@ned out loudly.
“Mhmm..”She Mõ@ned again when tony gave her a gentle bite on the lips.
“I love you”Tony breathed out, while still in the kiss.
“I love you too!”Vanessa Mõ@ned out and Tony broke the kiss,his hand rubbing her red swollen lips.
“Thanks for coming to Nigeria and finding your way into my life!”He smiled and Vanessa mirrored back the smile.
“And thanks for being a charming rommie”Vanessa winked and Tony chuckled.
“Let’s stop here,I might not control myself if we….”
“I’m ready!”Vanessa cut him off and Tony’s eye went round in amusement, without waiting for Tony’s reply, Vanessa slammed her lips on Tony’s own, this time more rough and firece. Tony breathed heavily, trying to catch up with her pace. When did she became this rough?
“Amour…”He Mõ@ned and broke the kiss, which got a frown settling on Vanessa’s face,and seeing her frowny face he leaned closer and reconnected their lips.
Tony pushed her on the bed slowly, while still in the kiss,his hand slowly crawling behind her middle when Vanessa’s phone began ringing,tony stopped and tried to stand up when Vanessa pulled him back, claiming his lips without a waste of time.
The phone continued ringing non-stop that Vanessa had to break the kiss with a groan.
“We can continue some other time, answer your call okay?”Tony caressed her lips and she nodded before sitting up,she took her phone and saw it was her dad calling.
📞”Hi dad!”She waved happily when she picked up the call.
📞”Hi princess!”Mr Bryant smiled and Vanessa giggled.
📞”You got discharged today right?”He asks her and she nodded.
📞”Yes!”
📞”That’s good! I’m really happy for your life, and without wasting much time,I’ll tell you what I wanted us to talk about. I won’t love any such occurrence to happen again,so your mom and I have concluded that you’ll be coming back home. Pack your things tonight cos everything is set already, your plane will take off tomorrow as soon as 6am which means you need to get ready tonight and arrange all your stuffs!”Mr Bryant said and Vanessa’s phone fell from her hand in shock, while tony couldn’t hide the shock expression on his face too.
Was this the end for them??
