“Are you sure, she is here? Anita asked her private investigator who she had hired to look for Yolanda”
She and Paul was at home preparing to visit Peace when the investigator called that Yolanda is around and she is presently at the airport
“Yes ma’am, she will soon be out because when I saw her,it looks like she is here to pick someone up” the private investigator replied

“There she is” The private investigator cut in Paul’s words
Anita and Paul diverted their eyes to the direction where the investigator pointed to
Anita couldn’t believe her eyes as she stared at Yolanda who was coming out of the airport with a young girl beside,they were both engrossed in their discussion
Anita stared at the girl who Yolanda was discussing with and a tear drop from her eyes
Even in her dream, she could still remember her daughter’s face and she needs no soothsayer to tell her that the young girl is her long lost daughter
“Long time Yolanda” hearing her name Yolanda stopped walking
She looks up and her eyes dilated in shock as she saw Anita
“Miss Anita” she called in suprise and shock but she was more than happy to see her
Veera who Yolanda had come to pick at the airport stared at Anita for a long time same goes to Anita
Veera face Yolanda
“She is the one right? They chorused and stared at each other
Yolanda smiled before nodding with a mutter of “yes”
“Veera, Miss Anita here is your biological mother!! She said and Veera was quiet
Though she knew that Yolanda is not her real Mom, but accepting Anita as her mom is the most difficult think

Victoria was busy watching a soap opera on TV with a bottle of wine in her front
her full concentration was on the TV that she was oblivious of another presence in the living room with her
“You are really having fun” she startled as she heard her a farmiliar male voice behind her
She turns her neck to the back and she smiled seeing that it was Wesley
“You brat! You scared me” she said jokingly in relief but Wesley was not in mood as he held a serious face
Victoria noticed how serious he looks and couldn’t help but to ask the reason behind his hardened face
“Wesley are you okay? She asked the silent Wesley in concern
After a long silence, Wesley finally talked
“Mom why did you lied? He asked with a sigh and Victoria raised her brow in confusion
” Lie? Lie about what? She asked
” The death of Roselle” he replied and she frown
” What are you talking about? What did I lie about concerning Elle’s death? She asked
“Why did you lie to me that Roselia pushed her intentionally because she is jealous of her beauty when it’s the other way around??!!! He shouted angrily and Victoria hissed with a roll of eyes surprising Wesley to the core
Wesley happen to hear the confession of Roselia to Star
“So you are angry because of that? C’mon that was just an harmless lie, but it doesn’t change the fact that Roselia is responsible for Roselle’s death, intentionally or not” she said scornfully
” And why are you so angry about it! It’s not you are related to her in any way”she added
” Yes we might not be related but Mr Langford is a good man,he took me as his son and never treated me poorly, same goes to Roselle, she is the best sister someone could ask for but wicked people like you can never understand! He snapped and Victoria gasp
“Wesley you just call me wicked? Your Mom??? She asked with sadness
” You were my mom not until I found out about your deed, maybe I won’t regret the decision I made tonight” he replied confusing Victoria
“What are you talking about? She asked in confusion
” Come in officers” he said and six police officers walked in
Victoria eyes dilated in shock, she diverted her eyes to Wesley
“You called the police on me? She asked in shock but surprise could be detected from her voice
She never expected her own son, her blood to ranted her out
“I did what i felt is right” he replied and face the officer
” Do your job officers” he said and the police leader walk to Victoria with handcuff
“Mrs Victoria Langford you are under arrest for the murder of Mr Langford and for blackmailing miss Roselia in order to keep your secret, you are advised not to say anything cos anything you say or do will be used against you” the officer said and handcuff her
” No! No! @m not going anywhere with you! She shouted as she was being dragged by the officers
“Wesley you can’t do this to me! You can’t get me arrested! Am your mom, the one who carry you in her womb for nine months! The only woman who had to go through hell before birthing you!! She screamed out as she was dragged till she was no more in sight
Wesley sniffed back his tears as they were about to fall
“You can’t cry Wesley” you can’t” he consoled himself
His eyes caught the big frame of Mr Langford and he let out a sad smile
” Mr Langford,I hope you are happy wherever you are” I just want you to know that the murderer behind your death has been arrested and don’t worry, I’ll make sure she pays for her crime.” He said with determination
CITY HOSPITAL
Yolanda’s car and the Patterson’s car came to halt in front of the big hospital
They all came out of their respective cars and glance at one another before walking inside the hospital
As they walked through the OPD,the people murmurs among themselves while some admire Veera
“This is her ward” Anita said as she stopped in front of Peace’s ward
“Should we go in”? She asked Yolanda who looks nervous which Veera notice
” Mom are you okay? Veera asked in concern holding Yolanda’s hand
“Veera I really don’t know if am ready to face her now,I mean I left her for 17 years without looking back” I can’t help but to be scared of her reaction” Yolanda replied truthfully as her lips quiver
” Mom” Veera called holding her mom’s two hands
“I know it’ll be hard for Peace to accept the truth but I also know that with time, she will learn to accept the truth, the only thing you have to do now is find a way to make her accept you” she said and Yolanda nodded sniffing back her tears
“I love you daughter” Yolanda said and Veera smile
“I love you too Mom” she replied and hug Yolanda
Mr and Mrs Patterson watch them with all smile
Anita couldn’t help but to feel proud of how mature her daughter is which is why she will be grateful to Yolanda for the proper upbringing of Veera but she couldn’t help but to feel bad about how she had brought up Peace, she feels like she wasn’t a good mother enough, maybe if she had brought up Peace well, she wouldn’t have become a bully.
“Let’s go in” she came out of her thoughts as she heard Veera’s voice
“Ok” she replied with a small smile before turning to the door
Yolanda exhale as Anita touch the doorknob and push the door open
They all stepped in at once, Peace who was busy pressing her phone looks up as heard the footsteps
She smiles widely as she sees Anita and Paul
” Mom you are finally here,am really angry with you two, you and Dad never bothered to call or text_
She stop talking as she notices another presence in the room
“Who are they?She asked her parents before returning her eyes to Yolanda
She couldn’t help but to notice a certain resemblance between her and Yolanda, like she is the older version of her but on the other hand, she could see another resemblance of Roselia in her (Yolanda), then she moves her eyes to Veera’s who looked like her mom (Anita) mini’s version
She diverted her attention to her parents who were staring at her with guilty Expression
“Mom you haven’t answered my question” she said
” Peace, you know your dad and I love you so much? Or have we ever treated you like an outsider before? Anita asked and Peace shook her head
“Mom what’s up with the questions? She asked in confusion
“Peace you see this woman here beside” Anita said referring to Yolanda
“She is your real MOM!! She dropped the bombshell
Peace burst into laughter like Anita had just said the funniest thing
“Stop the joke Mom, it’s too expensive” she said as she stopped laughing
” It’s not a joke Peace, Yolanda here is your real Mom and the girl beside her is my biological daughter, you two were mistakenly switched by the nurse when you were born!!! Anita replied seriously and Peace throat went dry at once
“Wh…Wh…. what??? She stuttered
