KRYPTON’S POV
Why the hell is Aphrodite keeping such a sour face? I asked Bruno but he just chuckled lightly and kept walking forward. Strange.
Suddenly, we heard the sound of something crashing in the arena. We quickly ran back to make sure that the princess and Malone were alright.
Immediately we entered, I saw Malone on top of the princess and then she pecked his cheeks. My mouth must be wide open right now because this is just…shocking.
Sayer came in as well and immediately he exclaimed. “ What’s going on here?“
MALONE’S POV
This lady is even more reckless than I thought, no wonder she needs a bodyguard. Suddenly she places her lips on my cheeks” thanks for saving me” she muttered softly and smiled.
Immediately, a familiar voice echoed through the arena… Sayer.
I stood up as Sayer came closer. “ What is going on here Malone” he asked. I scoffed and walked over to my sword. Ask your princess, I answered and walked away.
OLIVIA’S POV
Everyone is staring at me waiting for an explanation. Why did he leave? “ Well, I got into a bit of trouble but he saved me, that’s all” I said.
Immediately, Hermia rushed in. “ Are you alright my princess?“ She asked.
“ I’m fine, I’m just a bit startled that’s all. Please take me back to my chambers”, I muttered. I just have to make up anything. It would be embarrassing if I have to explain how all this happened.
I clutched the hem of my dress tightly. Malone is so.. so perfect. He’s strong, smart, handsome and stubborn. I’ll make him fall for me and that’s a challenge I’m willing to bet on.
As I walked out of the arena from their prying eyes, a carriage entered into the palace. Wait a minute, that carriage looks familiar. I walked towards it and… oh my goodness Vance!
I ran towards him and he picked me up in his arms.
“ Did you miss me that much?“ He asked and I nodded my head.
I’m so happy you came.
This princess is really uncultured. She just throws herself on any man. * Scoffs *
I’m sure she doesn’t even remember me. It’s been a while since we last saw each other. She’s still as cocky and foolish as ever. Heavens knows why I’m always stuck with her.
Not this time, I won’t attach any feelings, not again.
◦•●◉✿Somewhere dark and lifeless✿◉●•◦
Skulls lined up, leading into a dark cave. Inside, monstrosities crawled and creeped around. Human slaves were held hostage behind cells made of bones and despair.
A tall figure in dark robes walked through, his aura was so deadly that the bats hanging above him were turned to ash and blown away by the wind.
As he walked slowly by, everyone halted and bowed before him.
He walked over and sat on a huge throne madeof silver and had skulls engraved on it.
“ How’s my little bride doing Oracle?“ He asked in a serene yet dangerous voice.
“ See for yourself lord Drago “ a short old man replied holding up a crystal ball. The palace came to view, showing Olivia running into Vance’s arms.
Immediately, Drago emitted a strong force that broke the crystal ball into a million pieces.
“ How dare she hold another man? She is mine, she belongs only to me. I have to make it known to her or else she won’t realize that she isn’t a free bird that does whatever she pleases “
“ But my Lord, when you get her she’s still going to die so why waste your emotions on a sacrifice “ one of the five of his demon warriors asked.
Immediately, Drago’s eyes turned pitch black and he sped over to the demon and used dark magic to hold him in place.
“ Foolish! Drago, the demon king has no emotions that does not destroy. Whatever I choose to do with my meal does not concern you or anyone else for that matter… understood! “ Drago seethed and dropped him, into a dark portal below them.
A huge beast with no limbs popped out and swallowed him whole.
Everyone gasped or swallowed nothing as a sinister smile appeared on Drago’s lips. “I don’t like to give second chances very often and he caught me in a bad mood…sad. He was my favorite joker” Drago muttered and cackled maniacally.
“ Prepare for an attack on Aprilla, till then I need to teach my future wife a thing or two “ Drago said and they all concurred.
Today is Olivia’s birthday. I have to give my future queen a gift. A little visit wouldn’t hurt… me, he thinks to himself and let’s out a sinister cackle.
APRILLA
“ Your majesty, you look so radiant. Everyone will surely be swept off their feet once they get a glimpse of you” Hermia said as she put the finishing touches on Olivia’s makeup.
“ There’s only one person I want to sweep off his feet” Olivia muttered.
“ Did you say something my princess?“
“ No… nothing Hermia, just hurry up. I don’t want to be late for my banquet “ Olivia said.

“ Wow Aphrodite, Krystal. You ladies look breathtaking” Bruno said as the two beauties walked into the hall.
Krypton stared at Aphrodite, his mouth open in awe.
“ Aphrodite, you look so ravishing. Would you do me the honor…
“ Oh give it a rest Krypton” Aphrodite sneered and walked away although a smile was evident on her face.
“ Wow, I got rejected even before I proposed. Bruno, I need a hug” krypton muttered and turned to Bruno.
He spread out his arms moving closer to embrace him but Bruno kept moving back.
“ Touch me and I’ll rip off your limbs!“ Bruno growled and walked away.
“ Rejected twice, who else do I have in this world” krypton muttered and turned around and his eyes jammed with Malone.
He shrugged as a cold breeze swept up his spine. “ Umm I don’t need anybody, especially not him. Bruno might be bluffing but Malone…oww ah my body hurts just thinking about it”
The trumpets sounded and everyone’s attention was drawn towards the entrance. The doors swung open revealing King Richard and Princess Olivia.
They strutted in walking side by side, arms locked with each other. “ She’s really beautiful” Vance muttered softly and immediately Malone scoffed and turned away.
“ I hold this banquet in celebration of my daughter, Princess Olivia’s birthday. May you have a prosperous and healthy life my daughter.“ King Richard said and everyone clapped their hands.
“ Now let us celebrate and make merry, Music!“
The instrumentalists began making melodious sounds and the center of the ballroom were soon populated by ladies and gents dancing together.
Olivia came down from her seat and walked towards Malone and Vance.
She stopped in front of them but before she could say anything, Vance stretched forth his hand.“ May I have this dance?“ He asked.
“ Well, um…” Olivia muttered and looked at Malone.
Malone scoffed and walked away from them. Olivia sighed before placing her hand in Vance’s hand. “ Sure, why not “
Vance led her to the middle of the room and they began to dance. His hands were on her waist and hers on his shoulders.
His gaze was fixed on her but her eyes searched for Malone who was nowhere in sight.
“ What are you looking for Olivia?“ Vance asked her.
“ Huh…um nothing just looking for Malone” Olivia mumbled, her eyes still searching for Malone.
“ Malone? But why?“ Vance asked her again.
“ Because, I like looking at his face, he is very handsome” Olivia muttered without a second thought.
“ Am I not handsome as well?“ Vance muttered slowing down as his mood was starting to turn sour.
“ Of course you are handsome but, Malone makes me curious.“
“ Curious? How so?“
“ Well… I can’t explain it but I feel like I’ve met him before and I feel this urge to always be around him. Maybe I’ve fallen in love with him”
Vance immediately stopped dancing. “ Why did you stop Vance?“ Olivia asked.
“ You are so vain or will I call this childishness” Vance muttered disappointedly.
“ What do you mean?“ Olivia muttered softly.
“ Remember you said you were in love with me when we were younger. That’s why we created this bond” Vance said lifting both their hands, revealing the tattoos on their left arms.
“ We were just kids then Vance and you were my only male friend. It was nothing serious so don’t take it so seriously” Olivia said scrunching her face.
“ And how sure are you that what you are feeling for Malone is love?“ Vance retorted
“ Well… I…I don’t know but I’ll find out. That’s none of your business Vance” Olivia said and disengaged from him.
Suddenly two guards burst through the doors panting heavily.
“ Your majesty, a demon warrior has brought an army of monsters and they are attacking the palace” one of the guards spoke and immediately the whole hall went into a frenzy.
Sayer immediately gathered the knights. “ Protect the king and princess. That is your top priority”
“ Yes Sayer!“ They said in unison
“ Where is Malone anyways?“ Krystal asked.
Immediately the doors were broken down revealing blood thirsty beasts and ghouls
A pale skinned man in red and black robes walked forward from amongst them. His eyes were particularly dreadful, blood seeping out from them and a psychotic smile played on his lips.
“ Hello everyone, I am Vados, one of the demon warriors that serve lord Drago. I am the demon of pain and suffering and that’s exactly what I’m about to inflict on you… Resistance is futile!“
