Rodger groaned in pain as he felt Lannon’s hands punch his wound. He helped in pain and gasped for air.
“You’ve thought for long!”Lannon bawled for he hadn’t still gotten an answer from the scvmbag.
“He sent me”Rodger cried”he sent me to kill your parents. He blackmailed me. I’m sorry Lannon”he finally expounded.
Lannon staggered back by the truth. His head spinner, his stomach churned. Lila’s father? This was brutal!
“I had Lannon. Or I was going to die! “Rodger cried.
” FuçkING WHY!?” Was all Lannon could scream cause he couldn’t just comprehend why someone wanted his parents dead. A tear drop slipped from Lannon’s eyes and he fell to the floor.
“He said your parents knew about him into child trafficking”Rodger whimpered “They threatened to tell him to the police but he warned them to back off. They didn’t listen, so he had me kill then”he explained
“We were Fuçking bestfriends!”screamed Lannon in agony.
“I had no choice. You had a perfect life. You Fuçking don’t even know what my gay uncle did to me!”
“Still you shouldn’t have!!”Lannon stood from the floor and without anymore word he stormed out of the place because if he stayed one more minute he would Polly kill Rodger. He still needed him.
But after knowing that Lila’s father killed his parents, his was confused. His mind was in a turmoil. The father of the woman he fell in love with, killed his parents. How? Just why? How was he going to cope? If Lila knew about it, what would she do? He loved her. No matter what he was never leaving her? But, but, it was so much to take in! His tears flowed uncontrollably, just wondering what he was going to do.
“I Fuçking love you Lila!”he cried as he raked his hand that held his gun through his hair.
He turned to leave and sort out himself but when he looked up, he saw Lila standing and looking very fragile distance away from him she was staring at him and just stood. He didn’t want that stare not now, not ever. He was pained.
He stood still and wiped his tears,not moving either and he saw her take a step foward. His heart papiltated. He wasn’t ready to face her. He wasn’t ready to talk to her. Be was scared because her father was behind his parents murder. He didn’t want to be foolish so he didn’t want to act drastic at the moment. He needed to think. He saw her take another step forward and he knew he and to leave at that moment. So without even hesitating, he turned his back against her and walked away.

Lila watched him leave in agony and she wondered why she felt like he didn’t want to see her. She knew he was going through a lot since Sam had told her uncle Mascow was dead few minutes after she woke up and couldn’t find him beside her on the bed. She ran out just to look for him and hope he was okay because if anyone had suffered the most between the two of them, it was him. But, he just turned and left he r like he never knew her. Did she offend him? What had happened?
She fell to the floor, squatting weakly ash she buried her face in her palm not wanting to cry.
It was evening and Lannon wasn’t still back. Lila paced tho and fro about her room, waiting and hoping that he was okay. She had written an apology letter just Incase she had offended him.
She sat on the bed dejectedly looking at the wall clock that stared at her. It was 10:14pm and he wasn’t back. They already had dinner. Either way, she knew she had to stay awake for him till whenever he returned.
As she was still thinking, she saw her room door creak open and she stood up from the bed excitedly, hoping it was Lannon but it was only her mother.
She was sad but decided not to show it.”mmm”she said as she motioned for her mum to sit on the bed.
“You’re still waiting for him?”Ivory asked.
“Yes” Lila nodded. She had nothing to hide but her mum had so much she was hiding already.
“You’re better now?”Ivory asked.
“Hmm. How are you too?”she asked.
“I’m okay”was Ivory’s reply before she sighed and looked at Lila with determined eyes.”look. I have to tell you something” she said.
She stared at her mum curiously befor nodding in anticipation.
“You know I’m half Russian right?”
“Yes mum”she creased her brows, wondering where the conversation was heading to. All her thoughts about Lannon seemed to stop.
“You see, I’ve never told you about this but I will say it anyway. My family has a Russian treasure that no one knows about. Just me, your dad, my family and now, you”
Lila creased her brows more as she opened her mouth to say something but no word got out.
“I’m telling you this because I want you to be safe”
“What type of treasure?”she finally found words”you are taking me back to adventurous films him”she laughed nervously.
“Something like a crystal substance. I’ve never seen it, only in pictures. But it’s said to give a special power to the one hold it. No one has come in contact with it for years. It’s worth trillion of dollars”Ivory explained on details.
Lila laughed”mum, is this a joke? A way to keep my mind off Lannon?”
“No, it’s not!”
Lila was speechless, seeing the seriousness of her mum, she knew it was no joke.
“Why are you telling me all this? If it’s hidden then we are safe right”she asked.
Ivory didn’t say a word because she didn’t want to let Lila know that Dave was still alive. Her daughter needed to live a healthy life from then on.
“Mum! You’re not telling me something”Lila was now suspicious seeing her mum’s eye twitch. It was an attitude of Ivory whenever she was nervous.
They both stared at each other on the bed, till the room door suddenly burst open, interrupting their moment and Lannon walked in.
“Lannon!”Lila gasped as she stood up from the bed, walking to him immediately. She scrutinized his body and he was in good shape, he was not injured and he still smelt nice. Her heart calmed and she was glad.
She looked up at him as she baited her lashes”Are you alr……”she was suddenly interrupted as his lips landed on hers agressively and he kissed her with all emotions pent up in him. Lila was caught offgaurd but either way she tried to kiss him back with the same pace he used.
Ivory knew she had to leave so she slowly left the two adults yet to understand themselves.
After minutes of kissing, Lannon pulled away but Lila still held him. She was breathing hard and her lip was now bleeding and swollen, prolly because of how he kissed her. She actually didn’t mind. All she wanted was for him to be fine.
“Lannon….”her chest rising and falling, she looked up at him again and he captured her lip for the second time. This time she had to push him off as she gasped “What is…..”But he interrupted her again with his kiss.
It wasn’t rough, it wasn’t wild. It was smooth, it was soothing. It was gentle and ever pleasing. Though she wasn’t sure for the reason of his sudden behaviour but she melted in his kiss even when she tried to push him off. She was forced to kiss him back. And just as she was going along with the kiss, he pulled out. They were both breathing hard.
She held his hand seeing how he looked emotionally downcast, emotionally distressed and he was like a child who needed attention and comfort. His eyes were misty and red. He looked like he’d been crying.
“Lannon please tell me….”She tried to talk again but she was shushed again as he placed his pinky fingers on her lips and bumped their foreheads together.
“Please be quiet Lila. Please”he pleaded with a very shaky voice. He looked so vunerable, so fragile.
Lila gulped saliva down her throat nervously.
“Let our bodies talk tonight instead”he said. His eyes was not filled with lust rather with a mixture of sorrow and desire. “I want to Füçk you. No, no, no, let’s make love”he rephrased his statement. His breath gently fanned her sweaty face.
She was so confused on why he was acting so strange, she didn’t want her first time to be with him while he was acting strange. But still looking at him, she couldn’t say ‘No’ to him.
“Lannon..”She whispered.
“It will be definitely worth it. I promise. Hey, look at me”he held up her chin to look at him.
“I’m not scared about it not being worth it. You don’t look okay”she baited her lashes.
He gave off a very feingned smile which she noticed and then he lifted her up from the ground as he carried her effortlessly. “Give me a yes please” he whispered.
“Lannon….”She wasn’t sure.
“I’m fine Lila. I promise you”he said as he placed her on the bed behind them, her back laying flatly on the bed. He was hovering atop of her. He slowly bent his head to her neck and he nibbled at it.
“Lannon…”She whispered not sure of the emotions welling up in her.
He raised his head and looked at her, she was breathing hard and pursing her lips, she didn’t look scared rather she looked worried. They both stared at each other for a long time before he took in her lips, she didn’t resist. They were on the same pace, kissing and sucking, licking and tasting. It was going to be a very long passionate night which they would undoubtedly enjoy.
