★A week later★
“I’m sorry Mr Ambrose,,, I’m terminating the contract” Martin said over the phone
” But why? We finalized everything last week so why?” Dean asked
” Sorry Mr Ambrose” Martin said and cut the call
” Damnit” he cursed and threw his phone across the room
Things hasn’t been going well with his company after an argument he had with his mom the previous week. He’s been adamant about his mom’s request of wanting grandchildren and then boom,,, ‘investors stopped ordering from them’
“Are you going to work today?” Collins asked as he descended the stairs
“What for?” He sigh drinking from his glass of wine
“Then what are your plans?”
“I dunno for now” Dean replied
“Well,,, I’m suspecting Brittany…Don’t you think she is capable of doing this?” Collins asked pouring himself a glass of water
“Maybe it’s her way of punishing you” He added
“Mom?” Dean asked and he nodded
” I think you’re right!!! I mean, I’ve been going on numerous dates but nothing good always comes from it. . Is mom really trying to punish me?” He asked again and Collins nodded
“Then I need to go see her” Dean said and Collins nodded again
Collins phone suddenly rang. “It’s Brittany” He exclaimed
“Put the phone on speaker” Dean said and he did just that
“Hello son,,,, Dean is with you I guess” Brittany said happily. It was very obvious from the way she spoke
“I know you two will be thinking of visiting,,,,, but I mustn’t see you two here unless you bring me grandchildren” She said
“Mom.. don’t tell me you are responsible for what’s happening in my company?” Dean spoke up
“Your investors will come back only when you heed to my words” she replied and laughed briefly
“Mom, you can’t do this to me” Dean grumbled
” I can and I’ll do more if you continue to disobey me. You aren’t getting younger Dean!!!! Get a wife and stop sleeping around” Brittany shouted
“So if I give you a grandchild, you will let me and my business be right?” He asked
“Yeah.. but you mustn’t adopt any child just because I’m desperate. I will make sure I do some DNA test. So,,, be wise……She said and ended the call
“This woman will be the end of me” Dean sigh out in frustration
“Just get out there, look for a girl, release inside her then boom a baby will show up” Collins said sarcastically
“A whore won’t carry my baby” Dean said sternly
“A whore won’t carry my baby” Collins mimicked. “But you keep f*cking any of them you see”
“My personal life shouldn’t be your business” Dean glared. “Let’s just look for a way to please Brittany. I can’t allow my business go bankrupt just because she wants a child” he said and Collins thought for a while
” since you don’t want a whore to carry your child, then I think I have an idea” Collins said after a while
“What’s that?” Dean asked curiously
“Finding a decent girl is hard. And even if you find one, no one,,,,, I mean no decent girl will want to have sëx with you without getting married since you have no plan of getting married”
“Why?” Dean asked. ” I doubt if they’ll be such a girl who wouldn’t want me inside her” he added and Collins scoff
“Anyway, I think one can get pregnant without you making love to such person– Intrauterine insemination they say ” Collins shrug
“Really? how is it done?”
“Seriously? I’m not a doctor so i don’t know”
“Then why did you tell me something you weren’t sure of” Dean yelled
“Don’t yell at me you ape” Collins snapped
“I’m not a doctor. So how did you expect me to know? He added
“So what are you gonna do? What’s on your mind? Collins asked
“Tell single ladies I’m employing staffs…. anyone can apply” Dean said after a while
“Even me?” Collins asked teasingly
“You must be crazy” Dean replied picking up his phone
“Why don’t we go clubbing?”
“I’m not interested I’ve got some business to do tomorrow” Dean replied dialing Bianca’s number

He said on the phone
? Okay Sir.. bianca replied and ended the call
“Tomorrow will be a very busy day for me,,,,, but firstly, I need to go visit Doctor banks” Dean sigh
Doctor banks was his late father’s brother and their family doctor
” Right let’s go”
Dean nodded and they both left the house
