I watch as she walk into the dressing room then come out already dressed in her nightwear and i sighed.
She sat on the bed and was about to talk when i suddenly felt Valdez waking up and i stood up from her side immediately.
I pull off my royal rope and threw it on the floor then the few other layers of clothes leaving the white fabric layer known as undercloth with the trouser.
I won’t want to leave her alone in this roon on our wedding night but Valdez is wide awake now.
I decided to just sit down next to her and hopefully,she will go to bed in time so i can ran out of this room.
“Jake,,”she bite her lower lip then face me and met my gaze that’s already on her “after that night,in the garden, you start avoiding me”she said.
“No,,”i tried to lie but she stopped me and continue “no, I’m no fool jake,i know you are intentionally avoiding me whenever i tried looking for you”she said and i look away.
“Because,i don’t want ro hurt you Julie, that’s why”i replied “i don’t understand,do you agree to marry me only out of pity and to make me look so useless?”she frowned.
“I…”she cut me off again”that’s how it feels,as if I’m just forcing myself on you,you could have just say no to the king and that will actually be much better than my husband treating me like this”she added in a lower voice.
“I was only trying to make you trust me,i wanted to at least build trust between us even though we are getting married on condition “she added.
“I’m sorry “those words are the only words i could say, Valdez want to do more now and i can’t leave this room with Juliana like this.
“I’m staying away from you for your sake,that night,”i stopped not knowing to tell her about Valdez yet.
“You saw the change in my eyes right?”i asked and she nods “that’s why it’s dangerous Julie,being around you, it’s a lot of hardwork controlling the being inside me”i said and could see her confusion but they lasted only for few seconds.
“Being? Like inhuman?”she asked curiously and i nods.
At that time,it felt as if she remembered something and her face went pale making me wonder if she’s scared of me.
“That being,does,,,i mean can it come into someone’s dream?”she asked “huh? I don’t know, there are lot of things i don’t know about it too”i mumbled the reply.
“Valdez,did you bite her in her dream that day?”i asked my inner demon “yes,i couldn’t wait so i have to do my part”he replied as if innocent.
Suddenly the urge come again and this time stronger than ever “julie,please get away from me”i managed to say.
I knew Valdez already take over but my willpower is strong enough to make me warn the innocent girl.
She seem to notice the sudden change in me and said “your eyes,,,”i guess réalisation shine on her this time.
“Valdez,wait please”i beg the beast that’s ready to unleash itself and it seem to listen to me.
“I’m only helping you,the consequences are risky for you,trust me”he said before allowing me to take control og my body again.
I open my eyes expecting to see a scared julie trying to get away from me but she remained in front of me.
“I won’t run away just because you aren’t a complete human”she moved closer as if possessed “i already saw the beast in my dream”she smiled.
I smile and pull her closer then without a second thought slam my lips on hers and start kissing her.
She kiss back immediately as if expecting it ,and i continue the kiss while guiding her back onto the bed till she end up lying on the bed with i on top.
My hand went under her light fabric and crease her delicate skin gently while i continue to devour her taste.
Trust me, I’m not planning to do anything but i know i will have to mark her tonight but I’m scared she will h@të me afterward.
I pinch the tip of her N?pplës and heard her gasp softly giving me more access into her mouth.
I could feel her body getting hot with sensation and her N?pplës are kind of hard now.
She wrap her hands around my neck pulling me closer but i know she’s not ready for this, it’s the heat of the mark Valdez left on her that’s pushing her too much.
I pulled away after a long time and stare at her face.
“I’m…. sorry”i said and burry my head by the her neck sniffing it slowly and as i do,i felt my fangs coming out on their own,my eyes changing colour and my body tense.
I look into her eyes and she saw this but i didn’t give her a chance to do anything before i sank my fangs deep into the side on her neck.
I expect her to scream out loud but all i heard was silent groaning as if trying to take in the pain.
I felt her blood on my lips then my tongue ,they taste so good and i felt myself sucking more.
“Jake,,jake,,,”i heard her painful groaning and now, she’s trying to push me off but of course she’s not strong enough to push me off.
I wanted to stop also but i just couldn’t pull away,i sank my fangs deeper and heard her screamed even though not too loud before she stopped struggling to do anything.

I stare at her pale face with guilt and cover her with the blanket.
I was so scared when she went limp earlier,i thought i killed the innocent girl.
Turns out i suck too much from her blood so she passed out.
I just hope she doesn’t h@të me too much when she wake up tomorrow.
I kiss her softly and briefly “sorry”i mumbled before teleporting out of the chamber.

?Juliana pov ?
I squeeze my eyes shot right after opening them only to met with the piercing ray of sunlight.
I groan then open my eyes again and slowly the memory from last night start coming back slowly.
I look beside me but jake is not there, and i touches my neck ,then quickly get down from the bed.
I hurried towards the mirror,i should at least check how deep the bite is, but where is jake?
I stood in front of the mirror and brush my hair aside expecting to see the wound from the fangs but what i saw confused me.
“Jake,jake!”i yelled hoping he’s around his quarter but no reply but when i turn around,there he is, standing next to the wall.
His face held guilt but that’s really not the problem now as i point to my neck anxiously, showing him where the bite mark was supposed to be.
Instead, there’s an image as if tattooed there. The image of a black figure wearing a black cloak and covering a girl whose body look light the light itself cause of how bright it is.
It’s actually beautiful “look, it’s beautiful!”i yelled smiling and this seem to shock jake but who cares.
“You are not mad at me?”he asked and i look at him, finally looking at the gloomy face he’s looking at me with.
“You don’t h@të me??”he asked still amazed by my reaction but i just give him a bright smile.
“I know it wasn’t your fault,and I’m perfectly fine so,why should I h@të you?”i raised an eyebrow and he smile at once.
He was about to say something when he was interrupted by a voice “your highnesses,the king request for your present, it’s time for breakfast”liam voice said.
“I will be there,you can leave for your own things for now, alongside Shaun and chard”jake dismissed him.
“I will leave you to get ready “he smile again and walk out of the room while i walk into the bathroom.

I was done in no time,i walked out of the bathroom and met Sasha and mina waiting for me.
“You two?”i smile seeing them”my princess”mina seem really excited but i quickly hug her before she start her stories and stating her worries.
“The king don’t really like waiting, let’s get her highness ready mina”sasha scold mina who quickly get to work and i chuckle.
Soon,they both help me get ready in time and soon i was outside the quarter where jake was waiting and together we left in the carriage.
I really wonder why his quarter is so far from the palace, they make him seem like some disease that need to be avoided.
We got to the palace in time then proceed to the royal dinning hall and the guards announced our arrival.
Jake only gesture few greetings to my family and walk away to the far end of the table leaving about six or five chairs vacant.
I walk up to him and sat down,well not after greeting everyone. They won’t do anything to him since they are the one who cut him away.
The king start some silly chat during the breakfast and that’s when i found out my families are leaving right after the breakfast.
Father have to attend to some other things that he abandoned cause of me,and my brothers have to go back to their duties too.
Mom and i had few conversation while eating and soon,they are done with their own foods.
I wanted to see them off but father stopped me with some excuse of course and i bid my brothers goodbye before they left.
The king went with them,maybe to see them off and none of the queens are here leaving us with the princes.
The silence was good and I’m grateful for it. Everything seem fine until Jake’s brothers decided to ruin it.

I drop my chopsticks and frown when Chris decided to talk to Juliana “so,,, Juliana”he smiled cunningly making me frown.
What is he up to again?? “Yes?”Julie replied still eating her food “I’m just curious, how’s our brother in bed?”he blurted and julie nearly choke but quickly look up surpressing the urge to cough.
“I mean,we have never seen him with any girl,so who knows? He might be incompetent down there or maybe it’s not even functioning”Micheal quickly said.
“Well,i don’t think that’s something i should tell you, it’s not my concern that you are having doubt about him, he’s your brother, I’m sure if you are responsible he would have open up to you”she replied indifferently.
Michael look like he will burst with anger but of course, they won’t give up just because julie give them a taste of their own medicine.
“No one want to associate with the son of a devil,who knows what dark force live in him?”nobee said.
Hearing this,julie frowned “dark force? I guess it’s ok,since you aren’t pure yourselves”she sip from the alcohol.
“What? Common, don’t defend him, he’s really a bad person and his demon is a blood lust one,father told me that tho,yh, there’s a demon in him”micheal smile.
Annis seem less interested in all of this and stood up”you see,keep your distance from this beast”chris grinned.
Valdez seem offended by this”how dare these mortals advice my mate to stay away from me!”he growls.
He take over immediately and grab chris by the throat almost squeezing the life out of him.
“No one advice what’s my mine to keep distance “his voice thundered making my brothers sank back into their seats in fear.
He let go of chris only after julie speak up”let him go jake, he’s going to die” she said and Valdez give my body back to me.
“I will inform father about this monster!”chris yelled holding his throat and coughing.
They all shot my a disgusting glare then ran out at once and i turn to julie “so, he’s a demon?”he asked and i nodded.
“Let’s leave “i mumbled”try to control him more often,you really could have killed your brother just now”she said calmly and i nod and smile.
“Can we teleport? Please “she pouted “i need to change out of this gown, it’s uncomfortable “she said.
“But,i thought all princesses love gowns”i said “yh,they do but i prefer pants,you can’t run or fight in this,all you can do is dance”she mumbled and i chuckled.
I’m starting to smile and chuckle too much lately and all because of Julie, she’s really funny.
