Chapter42&43 (semi final)
“Take her away.. Molly said to the cops and Lilac was handcuffed.
Doctor Banks walked to them
“Is something the matter?” He faced the cops.
“She was behind the fake DNA test results.. Molly said and Doctor bank’s eyes widdened.
Truly he had allowed Lilac to run the DNA in his place since he was too busy doing surgeries and she was also the one who brought the results to him
“Lilac, is that true?” He asked shockingly and Lilac burst into tears
“Sorry to interrupt you doctor banks, but we need to take her to the station.. one of the cops spoke up
“Yeah, she should rot in jail with her heartless friend… Molly said and with that the cops took Lilac away
“Uncle how is Bluey?”Collins turned to Doctor banks and he heave a sigh
“We can’t say for now, though the surgery was successful and he might gain consciousness in 24hours” he said as they all walked to Bluey’s ward
“Let’s just wait until he is awake.. Doctor banks added and turn to leave.
He stopped on his tracks and turned to molly. “How did you find out? He asked
“I overheard her conversation with that witch earlier today. I opened the door and got in without their noticed. Gosh, human can be so heartless.. Molly said
“So what did you hear?” Doctor Banks asked
“I heard Dean’s name and it caught my interest. So I had to eavesdrop till I heard the witch thanking the nurse for the DNA”
“What? You mean she manipulated the DNA result? Doctor banks asked in disbelief. “God, I trusted her” he exclaimed
“Yeah, I had to keep my calm so I could record everything . She also gave the witch a sedative saying it last just 30min. Though I was confused at first, it was when I got home reality hit me. Molly explained
“Thanks Molly.. thanks for helping my nephew out… Doctor banks said and she smiled
“Yeah, I was helping my sister too, she has suffered a lot” Molly said
“Uncle, we will be on our way” Collins said and Doctor banks nodded
“We will be here first thing tomorrow morning.. he added and doctor banks nodded again before walking away
“Bluey, stay strong okay?” Molly kissed his( Bluey’s) forehead.
“Let’s go” Collins said and Molly nodded.
They both left for the car and drove directly to the police station

“Dean.. Collins called immediately he got to them.
“What happened? Did she confess?” He asked
“Yeah, she did and..
“How is Bluey?” Kaylan cut in concernedly…
“He’s not even your son and you care so much about him.. Molly rolled her eyes and Kaylan sent her deadly glares
“The boy is innocent…. he was adopted” Kaylan said and Molly eyes widdened
“She adopted him?” She gasped and Kaylan nodded
“God, that girl is a witch.. I wish I could see her and teach her a lesson she would never forget her whole life” Molly balled her fist
” So how’s he?” Kaylan asked again
“He’s fine” She replied and Kaylan breath out in relief
“Thank goodness” She exclaimed
“Mom, you need to go home okay? We will take over from here.. Dean told Brittany
“So that was the reason you didn’t allow me cook for Kaylan the other day? Because of that b!tch?” Brittany asked staring from Dean to Collins
“Mom, language!” Dean cautioned
“Don’t tell me that” She snapped
“I didn’t mean it that way, I wanted to solve things myself. You can’t keep fighting for me all the time… I have people I want to protect now” Dean said and Brittany looked at him again
Slowly, she engaged him in a hug
“Kaylan dear, I need you to please forgive and forget everything that happened today,,,, please ” Brittany said and made to kneel but Kaylan was fast enough to hold her
“Mom.. you don’t have to do that. I was at fault too, I shouldn’t have asked him to stay home all alone with her” Kaylan said and Brittany hugged her
“You’re such a good daughter and I know you will make a great mother.. Brittany said as tears left her eyes and Jerry one of the cops walked up to them
“Is something wrong? What did the girl say? I mean lilac” Brittany asked.
“She faked the test results. And that she was helping her friend (Tyler) out because life became hard for her(Tyler) after another guy had duped her of all her belongings…. The cop said and Collins scoff
“Maybe it was the other way round. She might had duped the guy then came down here to the states leaving no traces behind. She’s a real bad b!tch. Why do you think she Changed her name? Because she’s a thief.. she has stolen from us before ” collins said
“So are you pressing charges against her or are you dropping the case” he asked
“She’s never leaving here.. Brittany said sternly and with that she walked out of the station
“Serves her right.. Molly scoff.
“Kaylan .. Dean called with a glint of regret in his eyes
Kaylan faced him. “It’s not your fault and I understand. I know you wouldn’t do that if you were in your right senses” she said and his eyes glisten with excitement
“Thank you, thank you so much” he hugged her tightly
“Geez, I refuse to be oppressed.. Molly said and hugged Collins.
Collins chuckled at her silliness before hugging her back.
“It’s all thanks to you.. Collins said still hugging her
“Let’s celebrate then.. she exclaimed and they all laughed before leaving the station

“I will be on my way now.. Molly said and Dean nodded
“Let me go see you off. Collins stood up.
” I will drive you home” He added and Molly nodded
“Bye Sir Dean, bye Kaylan and you too cuties.. she touched Kaylan’s stomach before walking out with Collins
“Peace at last.. Kaylan said and capture Dean’s lip. He didn’t expect it but nevertheless, he quickly reciprocated the kiss.
Kaylan wanted to pull off but he held her firmly and deepened the kiss, kissing her hungrily while she responded in the same pace
“I love you Kaylan, let’s get married immediately you put to bed” Dean said and Kaylan nodded before reattaching their lips
Dean broke the kiss minutes later and carried her in a bridal style heading to his room
It was gonna be a long night for them

“So that’s what happened?” Mrs Anderson asked and Molly nodded
“Seriously some women have no shame.. she added and Collins smiled.
“Anyway mom, I will be on my way now. Collins said and Mrs Anderson nodded
“Good night bestie.. Molly waved and Collins smiled.
“Good night angel.. he said and entered the car..
“Come pick me up tomorrow so we can go see Bluey together okay? Molly shouted after him
“Bye.. she waved as Collins drove out of the compound
“How is your sister? Her mom asked from behind.
“Nothing to worry mom, your daughters are strong.. Molly said and her mom giggle.
“You must be hungry, I’ll go make you dinner.. she said and held her mom’s arm as they both walked into the house
