“Just be natural and it will work well” The voice drifted back to Arabella even as she came down to earth again.
“I will”She said to the director of the advertising shoot not sure about the things he said.
“The shoot will begin soon. Where is Gerald?”The director asked as he went to the others.
Hearing Gerald name being called, she found herself remembering the conversation they had earlier.
She had been angry and had said mean things to him but what she didn’t realise that he would get back at her for her insults.
What will she do now that she’s fired and prohibited from seeing Fiona.
Her agency didn’t know of her child and that’s why she has been keeping it a secret from them knowing how it would affect her career and their image. If she should anger him more, he might take Fiona out of the country and to somewhere far away.
“Its time Ara”Nina called as she pulled her to where the shoot will be taken place.
Expecting to see a model there, she was surprised to see Gerald there.
“The male model is feeling ill, so Gerald decided to replace him”Nina told her.
“I can’t do this” Arabella said suddenly wanting to leave but Nina pulled her back.
“I understand that your scared of him finding out the truth but you look different now. He wouldn’t know that you are Bella his nanny”Nina told her obviously in the dark.
She had no idea that Gerald knew her secret already.
“Okay it’s time for the shoot”The director for the shoot said as everyone took their place.
She stared at Gerald who didn’t even give her a glance. He was still angry just as much as she was jealous of this Christina of his.
She loves him but does he feel the same thing? If he is just trying to use her to forget Christiana, she will really despise him for it.
“Now Arabella, walk slowly towards Gerald, try to look drawn away by your surrounding. While doing that, you spot a sea shell and happily ran to it. You picked it up and kept starring at it for a while and like magic. You feel someone calling onto you and then you turn to stare at Gerald, give him your most beautiful smile and run into his waiting arms. He will lift up and slowly bring you down and you two will share a passionate kiss and…..”
“Must we really kiss?”She asked interrupting the director.
“Of course. I thought I told you about it a while ago? Why are you looking surprised?”The director asked.
“Just continue James”Gerald said to the director.
“As have said you two will share a passionate kiss and once that is done. You will be lifted into his arms again and while he walks towards the sea. You hold showcase the product while having a bright smile on your face. Its as simple as that” James finished.
To him it might be that but to her, it’s not that simple. How can she do all of those with a man she loves who doesn’t love her in return.
She didn’t get the chance to refuse because the director yelled out for them to start.
Doing as she was told she found the sea shell and stared at it for a while and then she turned to stare at Gerald.
“Cut! Cut! Cut! That smile isn’t genuine Ara. It was like you were faking it”The director told her.
“Am sorry. Lets try again” she apologised.
Once again she did it and this time she gave a bright smile even though she didn’t mean it and when he opened his arms for her, she ran towards him and he carried her up into his arms.
Slowly he put her down and when he was about to kiss her, she pulled away.
“Am sorry Director but I can’t do this”She said and ran off to her booth.
