” From what I see here, it should have taken you just ten minutes but it’s been forty minutes” Ryan said, walking away from her while glancing at the business card in his hands
” What took you so long?” He asked again
” Huh?” Violet gulped down emptiness
” Thanks though…. you can leave ” he said sitting on the couch
Violet stood still, dumbfounded
” I’ll be on my way now ” She said and started walking away
Ryan chuckled softly when he noticed she was heading to the kitchen instead
” The door is this way” he pointed at the door
” Huh? Is that so? ” She exclaimed, confused and embarrassed at the same time
” Sorry… She laughed awkwardly before exiting the sitting room
Ryan watch her till she was out of sight before ruffling his hair
Somehow he would have kissed her seconds ago if he hadn’t restrained himself
Violet got out and glared at the mansion
” That ape, he did that intentionalyl didn’t he? ” she glared at the mansion again before mounting her bike and driving off

” What took you so long” Mujin asked as soon as she entered the shop
” Welcome Violet. Can I have the delivery notepad? I need to check something on it” Mrs Zhan asked walking to her
” Okay ma’am ” she replied and checked her pocket but couldn’t find it
“Jeez” She exclaimed
” What is it? Did it get missing?” Mrs Zhan asked
” I didn’t take it from Ryan.. she bit her lower lip while Mrs Zhan smiled.
She pulled Violet to a seat before sitting next to her
” Is there something you need to tell me? Why did you forget the notepad with him?”
” Uhmm….Violet trailed off
” C’mon you can tell me anything” Mrs Zhan nudged her… ” What happened?”
” I can’t explain… it felt real and at the same time it felt like a dream. I was not gonna think about it and just consider it a nightmare…. But just few minutes ago, I totally lost it… Why did I have to close my freaking eyes? ” she whined
” Let me guess, Ryan kissed you.. Mrs Zhan whispered
” Sort of but it wasn’t intentional though… It was very brief”
” So… Why did you forget the notepad?”
” I don’t know, my brain kinda stopped functioning while I was there… I looked Stüpid back there. Can I please go home? I think I need to rest”
” Sure, go home and think about it” Mrs Zhan smile
” I’m just gonna rest, there’s nothing I’m thinking about ” You are naughty ma’am ” Violet rolled her eyes and stood up
” Wh@tëver, my regards to your grandma” Mrs Zhan smiled while Violet nodded before leaving the shop.
” That silly girl…. Did she finally found love?” Mrs Zhan laughed
” It’s still fine if it’s Ryan, at least he will take care of her ” she muttered then face Mujin
” Love is indeed crazy don’t you agree?. She’s been friends with Jeffrey for years but she doesn’t feel a thing for him but a guy she knew not long ago, she already forgot my notepad at his house” she laughed again while mujin shooked his head at her unbelievably

GRANNY PAMELA’S HOME
” You’re home ”
” Yes grandma, your baby is home” Violet replied hugging her grandma
” Will you still be going to the restaurant?”
” Yes and I need to go change now cause Jeffrey would be here any minute from now” Violet replied walking to her room and almost immediately, Jeffrey walked in.
” Gimme two minutes jeff ” she said and he nodded.
She was done in a matter of minutes before walking back to the sitting room to meet Jeffrey and together, they left for the restaurant

” Christ.. I’m so weak ” Claire stretched, standing up from her bed
” You’re finally awake ” Mara said
” You weren’t sleeping?” Claire asked
” I couldn’t ”
” Why? Because Fei confessed her feelings?” She asked and Mara heaved a sigh.
” Do you think she will be able to come to school?” Claire asked
” That’s her problem and not mine” Mara rolled her eyes, walking into the bathroom

Ryan walked back to his room staring at the notepad with him.
” How did she forget this?” He wondered, keeping it in his backpack
” Till Monday then ” He said and sat on his bed.
A smile escape his lips when his mind drifted to what had happened earlier..
” What was she thinking?” He stifled back a laugh, when he remembered her embarrassed expression
” What’s wrong with you Ryan? Get a hold of your self” He scolded himself, his expression changing into a serious frown
He was bored and decided to read his books. It has become a part of him that he can’t go a day without reading
” Okay, let’s see what we’ve got ” he said switching on his laptop

” Are you okay? ” Jeffrey asked
” Just wanna go home that’s all” Violet replied
” I wanna tell you something Violet…. he trailed off
” Remind me when we get home so I won’t forget alright?” She said and he nodded
Mr Xian walked up to them and sat closer to them while they both exchange glances
” You both don’t have to come every day. You can come when you are less busy” he said
” Can I really do that?” Violet asked, excited and he nodded
” It’s getting late, you both should be on your way” he said
“Good night sir” They bowed before walking out of the restaurant.
