Anna immediately turned back like she was waiting for her call. She walked towards her and stood in front of her.
“You called me?” Anna asked.
“You! Are you really his mate?” Kathleen asked and she smirked.
“I don’t want to accept it but I think I should accept it because it’s a fact that I’m his mate” Anna replied and Kathleen clenched her fists.
“But you’re just a human..”
“Yeah, you know fully well that humans can be mated to supernatural right?!” Anna retorted.
“But…” She paused.
“I have a suggestion..”
“What?” Kathleen asked.
“I know you like Axel. But the fact is you can’t have him as far I’m here…”
“So? What do you want me to do?” Kathleen asked angrily.
“Help me escape. If you want to have him, help me escape from him. NOW!”
Kathleen’s eyes widened immediately she said that.
“What?”
“Do you take me for a fool?” She asked.
“I’m sure he’s going to find you by your mate bond!” Kathleen added.
“Forget it, we don’t have any mate bond between us. The hatred between us both is mutual. So you can have him” Anna stubbornly said.
“No, I’m not in for this. Axel will kill me when he finds out. Don’t toy with Axel, he’s far dangerous than you think…” Kathleen warned and Anna scoffed.
“I don’t care about that. He would only catch us if we are not careful. I thought you want him?” Anna asked.
“Yes,, but…”
“Don’t be a coward. Help me if you want to get him” Anna said convincingly and Kathleen found herself nodding.
“I will help you and you too fulfil your part by getting out of his life” Kathleen warned and Anna nodded smiling.
After escaping, she will first go to see Elmo and his family to notify them of her wellbeing and then she will flee the city so the monster would not find her.
“But how? How do I escape?” Anna asked.
“I have the power of invisibility. I’m going to use that to help you..”
“Just hold on to my hand..” Kathleen says and Anna held her hand. Kathleen closed her eyes and recited some spells and immediately Anna was nowhere to be seen.
Kathleen smiled seeing that her plan worked. She immediately vanished out of the house and then she landed a few miles away from the mansion.
Kathleen landed on the ground causing a thud and then she closed her eyes and muttered some spells and within seconds, Annabelle suddenly appeared.
Anna looked around and then smiled.
“Thank you so much. Thank you..” She said almost breaking into tears.
“Just go! Go and never come back!” Kathleen said and Anna nodded and immediately ran off. As she was running, she bumped into something hard and she hissed and looked up to see what what she bumped into.
As soon as she looked up, her jaws dropped and she felt like all her blood was drained out of her.
“A… Axel!” She called and moved backwards slowly.
“You thought you could escape Blue eyes!” Axel’s voice came cold and sharp.
“How…How…”
She looked up and gasped. His beautiful gray eyes were now blazing red.
Meanwhile Kathleen stood frozen on the spot. She knew that she was doomed! Completely doomed!
Axel removed his gaze from her and it landed on Kathleen.
He teleported himself in front of her. Anna shook her head and tried to move but then she noticed that she was stuck. She couldn’t move her body.
“What the!
She looked at Axel and glared at him.
Axel’s eyes were still blazing red as he stared at her. Without thinking twice, he held her neck tightly and immediately it broke and fell off her head, her blood staining the ground.
Anna’s eyes widened as she looked at the blood splattered on the ground.
Axel turned to her.
“Yet again, you made me murder someone blue eyes” He said moving towards her. Anna was still in a state of shock but then he bent and swooped her into his arms and immediately he vanished immediately.
Anna felt dizzy but she soon calmed down when he brought her down and placed her on a couch. Anna’s senses immediately returned and that’s when she noticed that they were back in the monster’s house.
“No!” She yelled and stood up.
Axel turned back to her sharply.
“You monster, you killed her. You murdered her!” She yelled as tears started to pour from her eyes.
“You caused it not me. You killed her” Axel said with a stoic voice and Anna scoffed.
“Just leave me, let me go!” She yelled out In tears.
“Anna..” He called calmly as he moved slowly towards her.
“God knows how much I’m controlling myself from hurting you. I’m trying to restrain myself so don’t make it hard for me!” His cold voice said clearly warning her.
“I don’t care. Just kill me! I’ll rather die than remain stuck with you!” Anna yelled again and he scoffed.
“Monster? Huh, how about I show you how brutal I am by killing your sweet friend’s family” Axel says and Anna’s eyes widened.
“No…” She said almost breaking into a sob.
“And about being stuck with me? I know the perfect way for you to be stuck with me!” He stated and Anna looked up.
“What?” She whispered.
“Marry me Blue eyes..” He said and Anna’s eyes widened again.
