•Hospital~Private Ward•
Kennedy entered and the nurses in there bowed and walked out….. about three of them
He stared at Kayla who’s transfused,also connected to the IV fluids drip and a low sigh escape his throat
How’s he gonna tell her he badly missed her those long parted years?
He searched for her?
She won’t believe all that
And, she got traumatized earlier? Why?
Kennedy walked to the bed and sat beside her
He ransacked her with his eyes
Yeah, she’s still that cute Kayl, funny her hairpin is still there,and wow,she’s still putting on the bracelet he got for her
Then he remembered, how he stole from Grayson to get the bracelet in a store…. How Grayson found out few notes was missing in his wallet and how together with his brothers they dealt with him
Kennedy gritted his jaw,he wouldn’t have wasted Grayson’s life just like that. He’d have tortured him for a year or two months like Jake
Well he killed him sooner cause Kayla already knew,he killed Grayson to focus on her…..to get her back
Kennedy didn’t know when his lips curled into a sweet smile as her stared at her
He raised his hand to touch somewhere on her body. Maybe head or hands
Kayla flinched her eyes opened and Kennedy withdrew his hand,the bland face returning like he never smiled
Kayla looked around her, why’s this room white? Why’s it smelling like anticeptics and…. Vetiver?
Kayla turned to Kennedy with a questioning look
“You fell unconscious”He muttered. Kayla looked around her for the second time and it dawned on her she’s in the hospital
First woke up in Kennedy’s house,now waking up in the hospital? Great
Kayla shut her eyes deeply and opened them sharply. Now she gets why she’s here. A car almost hit her
“It was your car”she faced him. Kennedy tilted his head searching her eyes for something she can’t tell and she frowned
“You almost killed me! Haven’t you heard the word ‘watch out for pedestrians’”she yelled
“Don’t you know the word ‘look before you leap’”Kennedy asked
“Actually,it’s ‘look left and right before crossing’”she muttered relaxing back
“What were you thinking?you almost got yourself killed”he said
“No,you almost got me killed….I was….I didn’t know”she muttered the few last words. Tears fell like river without permission and Kayla cursed herself
She can’t cry before this killer buh she’s doing it now
Why didn’t she cry after hearing she lost her job?
Why füç?in now?
Kennedy noticed this and stood up,she sat up properly trying to hide her face from him but he already held her head
He gently placed her head on his chest and kissed her hair deeply
“I’m sorry Kayl”he whispered. Kayla swallowed hard,her body shook as she felt his touch,she pulled away quickly and removed whatever is connected to her hand
“Your treatment isn’t over”Kennedy said
“I’m well….fine.My son is in school….it’s late”she stammered without looking at him.
She got down from the bed “thanks”she rushed to the door
“Kieran…. he’s…..”that was the last thing she heard Kennedy say,she ran out
Going out,she met Claire. Her eyes burned in jealousy and she doesn’t wanna believe that
No she’s not Jealous, she’s not
Claire walked to her with a bright smile “how….”Kayla glared and and ran away
“She’s really weird”Claire shrugged and smiled when Kennedy walked out
“Hey Ken”she said “wait…thought you wanted to take her home”she blinked
Kennedy nodded
“Buh you’re here and she’s leaving…what if she goes to her house and finds Kieran missing”Claire asked
“She’ll come home Claire”Kennedy said and walked away
“Why the hell is the world turning strange”Claire asked a doctor who walked past her
The man gulped in fright. She’s to scary to behold. Got pockets on every side of her overall and one can guess weapons fill those spaces

•Germany~Charles’ Mansion•
“You aren’t getting any younger, Jenevieve”Mrs Charles screamed and Jenevieve shook her head in frustration
“I’m not you mom, I marry who I love not who my parents set me up with” She replied
“You’re Twenty-three,when do you wanna find true love?” the woman continued
“When I see one”Jenevieve rolled her eyes walking upstairs
“Then you don’t stay in my house,if you don’t marry who I choose,then you leave my house!”Mrs Charles yelled
“Exactly mum,that is exactly what I’ve been waiting for….oh my gosh”Jenevieve ran upstairs,she came back with her luggage
“Jenne…. what’re you doing?”her mum calmy asked
“Doin exactly what you asked me to,I’m füç?in’ leaving”Jenne replied pulling her luggage behind her, heading for the door
“Jenevieve take those bags to your room this minute!”Mrs Charles ordered
“Fineee,okay mom”Jenne said in between her teeth and pulled the bags up in struggle
She came back down without no bag, heading to the door
“Where’re you heading to?”Mrs Charles demanded
“Jeez,I’ve dropped the bags,what else?”Jenne air quoted. Mrs Charles walked slowly to her
“Are you really leaving?”she slowly asked
“Course mom,what it look like…I’m leaving,you told me to do that and tell Big Charles his daughter’s gone he shouldn’t miss me much”Jenne winked
“JENNE”her mom screamed
“I gotta plane to catch,see ya in the future”Jenne said and disappeared
“You couldn’t stop her…you watch her leave….Jenne!”Mrs Charles screamed facing the guards and maids

Back In South Korea
Kayla ran all the way to the house only to find Kieran isn’t in too
He’s not in school! No one to even ask who picked him cause the school is closed for the day
Did he go with his friend, Jane? Shit,Kayla doesn’t know Jane’s house and she doesn’t even have her mom’s number
“My phone”she mumbled “füç?”she yelled realizing she’d have left it in the hospital
Then she remembered Kennedy saying something about her son
“Kieran…. he’s…ho..”that voice sounded in her ears
Actually she heard the ‘ho’
But what the heck is ‘ho’
“Ho.. Home!”she screamed “home…like a home?”she shouted running outta the house

•Kennedy’s Mansion•
“Thanks Auntie”Kieran smiled as Claire dropped his food on the dining table
Mashed potatoes and carrots with a plate of vanilla ice cream calling Kieran,fruit juice and at last his favorite, Cucumbers
Kieran hijacked that one first, enjoying life. He doesn’t know why he didn’t reject his acting dad’s food but he didn’t reject
And it’s his third time eating In Ken’s house that day
“Enjoy sweetie”Claire winked and walked to Kennedy pacing quietly in the living room
“Uncle Ken,are you sure momma’s gonna come here? Does she know here? When she was in the hospital,you told me you’ll bring her with you but you didn’t”Kieran asked from the dining room
“She’ll come and don’t hesitate to call me dad”Kennedy flashed one of his sweetest smile. Kieran did too
“Yes dad and I can’t wait for Monday. I’ll tell my classmates bout you”Kieran winked and continued his food
“Hey liar,what if she doesn’t come?”Claire hit Ken’s shoulder
“You won’t let your child sleep outside without your permission, right?”Ken asked
“Yeah? But she füç?in’ don’t know he’s here. What if she goes all…..”Claire stopped whispering when the lights switched to red automatically
Anytime a stranger or a person who the door security can’t recognize comes,it blink red—danger
“Told you,she’s here”Ken smiled and walked to the door
It’s high time the security recognize her… Ken’ll do that later
He opened the door staring at Kayla’s worried and anxious eyes
No one talked, time clicked
One minute passed…
Two…
Five..
“My son,is he here?”Kayla finally talked. Ken stared at her with the left brow up
“You forgot your phone and thanks for visiting again”he said and with that he opened the door widely
Kayla frowned at him and when her eyes caught Claire waving,she frowned the more
Turning red in anger and jealousy
“Oopsie”Claire mumbled
She felt the anger
Everyone felt it
