“Carolyn isn’t getting married dad, I won’t let that happen!” Theo stated and that earned him a puzzling look from his father.
“And why are you so bothered about this? You aren’t the one getting married, so why on earth are you complaining!” His father yelled in return.
Carolyn knew what Theo had in mind, she knew he was going to tell his father about their relationship which she didn’t want.
“That’s because Carolyn and I…”
“I want to leave godfather!” Carolyn said suddenly, earning the attention of both men.
“Why?” Father and Son asked in unison.
“Godfather, I know that you think this marriage is a great opportunity for me but I don’t think the same. I don’t love the crown prince and I can’t spend the rest of my life with someone I don’t love and I know that refusing this marriage might put you in a bad spot which is why have decided to leave”
“If I leave then you won’t have to deal with it again” Carolyn added wanting both men to understand her reason.
“Where will you go to?” Theo father asked.
“A friend, she extended the invite and have already accept. I will definitely be fine godfather ” she said trying to assure him but she could see the doubt in Theo’s face.
” When do you leave?” Her godfather asked.
“Now. The earlier I leave, the better for everyone” she said and this got Theo looking at her.
“Theo I…” She couldn’t get to complete her sentence because Theo went up the stairs, ignoring her.

PALACE
“She did what?” Ross blurted starring at the two men he sent to Carolyn’s home.
“She rejected them your highness” the first one reply.
“And also she told us to tell you that she won’t be getting married” The second one inform.
“And you have the guts to deliver such message? ” Ross said as he gave the man a slap on the face just as the door open to reveal his mother.
“Mom! You didn’t tell me you were coming” Ross said quickly, faking a smile for her while the two men gave a deep bow before leaving his room.
“Were you doing something bad that you didn’t want me to see?” The queen asked in return which got him shaking his head.
“I was just thinking about my bride to be and our wedding ” Ross said, wearing a dreamy look on his face.
“About that, I think you should reconsider”
“Reconsider? Don’t tell me you are planning on calling the whole thing off?”
“Of course not! I just…I just think that this girl is not really into you. If she is then she would have come to pay us a visit and…”
“She’s just the shy type. She will pay you and dad a visit soon, I will bring her myself” Ross said which made her content.
“Then mom about this year school trip can I…”
“You know you can’t. A prince is not allowed to leave home, it’s for your safety”
“But can’t we make an exception. I promise to keep myself safe, let me go for this one” Ross pleaded.
“I will have to ask your father then,it’s up to him”

FINLEY MANSION
Carolyn was done packing her luggage and there is still no sign of Theo.
She went into his room and saw him standing by the window, deep in thought.
She walk towards him and gave him a hug from behind.
“Am only going to stay at June’s place” she said and when he tried to pull her hand away, she tighten her hold around his waist.
“Leaving is the only way for me to stop everything going on. Am just leaving, we aren’t separating” she said hurriedly.
He let out a sigh and face her. ” I know that but I can’t help but to feel guilty. You wouldn’t be going through this if I hadn’t gone to see Ross fath….” A kiss on the lips prevented him from saying more.
“You aren’t at fault. Just blame my beauty, it keeps attracting the wrong sort of guys except for you” she teased wanting him to smile and she did succeed.
“I love you my pickle head” she added looking up at him.
“Same here pokie, same here” he muttered before claiming her lips.
The kiss went on and on and when it was getting too deep, Theo was the one who pulled away.
“The school trip is next week, let’s spend lots and lots of time together” Carolyn said and he nodded in agreement.
“June told me that Ross never attend the school trip which will be more fun since he won’t be there to annoy us” Carolyn said and he nodded without saying a thing.
“Everything is going to be fine. There’s no way on earth that I will marry Ross, you and I are destined for each other” Carolyn added and that earned her another breathless kiss from him.
“I will drive you to June’s house” he said and they both left the room.

RESTAURANT
While Brandi eat the food in front of her, Xavier watched her, his anger growing bits by bits.
“Judging by how you cancelled your date with Holly, you haven’t told her the truth right?” Brandi asked.
“I haven’t and you better not…”
“If you threaten me, I might just be tempted and end up telling her the truth”
“It will be fun watching her pained and hurt upon finding out that you are nothing but a liar who got close to her because I asked you to” Brandi added lightly.
“You must be enjoying this right?” Xavier asked.
“Enjoy. I am angry, so d@mn angry. I was the one you were interested in but then you went ahead and fell in love with that dumb girl. I might have over look it if she was someone better than me but she’s not”
“Holly is definitely a girl better than you. She’s worth a lot more than you will ever be. Stay the hell away from Holly and this is not a threat but a warning, I won’t let you get away with it if you mess things up” Xavier warned and left the restaurant.
Brandi kept eating not caring about the things Xavier said when she got a call from Scarlett.
“Terry and I are in the hotel” Scarlett spoke down the line.
“Then do what you should and make sure you don’t fail at all cause this might be the only chance you got. I will be there soon” Brandi said and ended the call.
“At least something is working right” she added as she signalled the waiter for her bill.

HOTEL
Terry rouse from his sleep to find himself in an hotel room and he’s also naked.
The last thing he remember was having a drink with Scarlett at the bar.
How on earth did he get here? He thought as the bathroom door open to reveal Scarlett whose nakedness was covered up with one of the bed sheets.
“Oh, you are awake” she said as she came to seat on the bed.
“What happen?” Terry asked.
“Isn’t it obvious. We just had s£x” she said confirming his suspicion.

JUNE’S HOME
Carolyn and June came out of the estate on their way to the mall to buy some necessities when June went back in to get her purse.
Carolyn was waiting for June to return when a car halt beside.
On seeing Ross, she took to her heels, heading back to June’s home but Ross caught her before she could run off.
“How long will you keep on ignoring me?”
“Till you understand that nothing can ever happen between us. Let go of me” she yelled trying to set herself free but instead of letting her go, he drew her closer.
“Even with me using my power and money just to get that article publish, you still won’t choose me. What do I have to do to earn your love, do I have to kill everyone around you, Ugh!” He lash out at her and when she said nothing, he began to force a kiss on her when Theo showed up.
A punch on the face got Ross sprawled on the floor.
“Go back in Carolyn ” Theo said looking very angry.
But her legs couldn’t move, she watch Theo pick up a Iron rod on the floor before heading towards Ross….
