“Skai” I told you that guy employed me for a reason” Peyton reported.
“What do you mean”?
“You won’t believe he tried to bully me” trust me,I gave him a piece of my mind. Peyton said proudly, making Skai laugh.
“I trust you,sis” no dull moment with you,she added.
“How have you been enjoying your work so far”? Skai asked.
“Tch” quit well though. My co workers are really cool humans,especially May.
She’s really nice.
“I think I’m beginning to like my job,but that guy Nolan, seems he’s going to give me lots of headaches.
But no worries, I’ve got his time,she smirked Skai just laughed, knowing what Peyton is capable of.
****DAYS LATER****
peyton and May were seated at the other side of the restaurant, resting as they were a bit tired from work.
Nolan walked in with a lady,holding hands and being all lovey dovey.
The moment he walked and saw that Peyton was there,he grabbed the lady and kissed her on the lips.
“I love you so much,candy” what would you like to have? He asked her,leaving May and Peyton in shocks.
They’ve always known him as a Casanova.
They know him as one who does not stay with one one,in fact,one hour is too much for him.
Why this sudden change? Has he really changed? Or he has something he’s cooking up.
Peyton and May were still questioning themselves when they heard his voice.
“Tell them what you want to eat,candy”
“Hey” don’t give her anything spicy,she doesn’t like spicy food,Nolan turned to Peyton and said.
“Yes,sir” Peyton said and left,but shutting the lady dead glares before leaving.
“What is he up to” Peyton asked no one in particular.
“Baboon” she muttered and went into the kitchen.
How can she be ordered around because of that boney fish,she thought.

“Master Nolan” is this really you? Oh my God!
“It’s so good to see you again after so many years”
Look at you,you’re a grown man now. Alex,said.
Alex once worked for Nolan as one of the guards, but they all got fired by Nolan after he lost his his sister.
He wasn’t thinking straight after all the tragedy that befell him.
He fired all the workers In the mansion, same way he fired all his chefs the other day.
Although, Alex is way older than him,but he always called him”Master” up till now that he’s even married with kids.
“So nice to see you again too,Alex” you’re looking good,you know.
“You stay around?” He inquired.
“Not really” we just came to visit,he said and they gave each other handshakes.
“You’re restaurant is the talk of town” please, keep up the good works,Alex said, making Nolan smile.

****THE MCKENZIE’S RESIDENCE****
“Hey Skai” don’t forget to bring me goodies when coming back. Peyton said to Skai over the phone
“Sure” she said smiling, even though Peyton cannot see her.
Skai was sitting and waiting for her boyfriend to call.
He was supposed to take her out like he promised earlier.
She tried him but his number was connecting either.
“I think I should go check up on him to know what’s up” this is unlike him she said and left.
She got to his house and knocked but no response.
Knocked the second time, still no response.
Then, she pushed open the door and noticed it wasn’t even locked.
“Babe” are you in here? Where are you for crying out loud.
On getting to his room,she started hearing sounds,more like m*oans but she didn’t want to believe what her eyes were hearing.
She gently opened the door and to her utmost surprise.
There,she caught her boyfriend in bed with a lady.
She wanted screaming, but could, tried yelling at him,still couldn’t.
She just could not utter any word.
She ran downstairs sobbing, with her hands on her mouth.
Her boyfriend ran to meet her,but instead of being remorse or something.
He even broke her heart more by telling her he doesn’t want her anymore, that he has been trying to tell her this a long time ago,but he was just waiting for the right time.
“I’m sorry” but I don’t think I can continue with this relationship.
“I don’t feel anything for you anymore, I’m sorry” he said and left.
Skai was left devastated as she could still not say anything, just sobbing more and more.

Skai was seen seated at a bar,consuming some alcohol.
“Bring me more bottles, you fool! She yelled at the bar man.
She was drunk already and still consuming even more.
“But,ma” the guy tried to stop her from taking more.
“Just shut up and bring me more bottles, she yelled.
He obeyed and brought in more for her.
Gray was seated at the other end watching the whole drama.
He came in to get some bottles of drinks for his house.
Skai poured in another glass and took it to her mouth to gulp down but Gray quickly collected it from her.
“You’ve had enough” he growled.
“Who the hell are you” Skai asked, feeling upset.
“I’m Gray” please, stop taking this.
Don’t damage your kidneys,he begged but Skai only rolled her eyes and said wh@tëver.
“Is that a promise?” He asked.
“Huh?” Skai asked.
“Promise?” He asked again.
“Fine!” I promise.
“You’re such a pest” she jibed,Gray chuckled.
“I will take that as a compliment” he said.
“You mind if I take you home”? He asked and Skai nodded.
They both left together, but pumped into someone due to how Skai was staggering because she was drunk.
“Hey” watch it,she said even though she was the cause of everything.
The moment she raised her head up and tucked her long hair at the back of her hair.
“Is this Nora”?
“No” it can’t be Nora, this must be someone else.
Nora died a long time ago.
“I must be hallucinating” she can’t be the one,he kept saying until they left the bar.
