Jayden appeared at JD photo studio and looked around. The place was still the same way his friend left his years ago.

After he dled, looking after his wife wasn’t his only priority, he also looked after his friend that suddenly disappeared. There was no way he could ask anyone about him so he just forget about him after all his attempts of trying to find him failed.

He looked around and instantly regret his actions. He should’ve tried back then to look into what could’ve happened, but instead, he abandoned his friend and assumed that he is going to be just fine.
*
He looked at the passerby that didn’t even spare the studio a glance, after contemplating for a moment, he possessed one of the passerby, and used her phone to call the studio number but the person what out of call credits.

“What kind of human is this?!”he snapped, and leave the body in anger.

The man looked around, perplexed, and Jayden scoffed before possessing someone else.

He tried the number severally but it was already out of reach so he decide to ask around, so he asked the next store.

“Oh, unmoved here few months ago, you can ask the other neighbors,”

“Oh,” he exclaimed at the thought that Jordan must’ve been away in months.

He asked from the others but none of them seem to know anything about him. It’s like he disappeared over the year.

He left the body later and appeared at his house that looks like no one has been staying there. Jordan was very devoted to his photography, traveling around to discover unique pictures that he never gave marriage a thought, his camera was his first live, and he chose to be devoted to it till he fall out of love for it.

Nobody knows his whereabouts, it was like he disappeared without a trace.

Jayden started trembling in fear thinking the worst after he checked everywhere that he could be, and finally the last place that he could think of —the orphanage.

Many of them that grew up at the orphanage together considered the place their last home. It was a place that they can never be denied from, a world on its own that was secluded from the world out there. He once thought of returning there himself when things were tough, but his wife encouraged him and kept him going, so whatever the situation might be, it’s either Jordan returned there or disappeared completely.

He appeared at the orphanage and watched the few children playing around. Unlike them, he was a trouble marker so he doesn’t have any fond memories as a child until he grew wiser and realized that he could also be a better person.

He looked around but found no trace of him, he was already about to give up when the least place came to his mind— the basement at the back of the building.

The basement was like an old storage room that he and his friends always hide whenever they cause troubles, but gradually it became more than a hideout and became a comfort zone for them to escape reality

“He can’t possibly be there,” he grumbled but still decide to check.

He appeared in the basement and was startled to see his best friend there looking unkept and tattered.

“Jordan,” he called, and tried to touch him but his hands went through.

For the first time after his wife moved on, he felt sad for being helpless so he left there immediately and appeared in Charles’s room to give him the feedback with hopes that he will also be able to help his friend.

Charles informed Violet and a Carolyn about Jayden’s new information, and they all sat in the living room together.

“What made you believe that he was hiding?” Violet asked, after a long pause.

“He wasn’t in good shape. What possible reason will make a grown man leave his life behind and disappear to that basement,” Jayden said.

“He might have his own situation,” Violet said.

“Let’s hope not,” Charles said, and they all looked at him.

“What do you mean?” Violet asked.

“Because it will only do us a favor if his current situation is relating to you, otherwise, all of these will be a waste,” Charles said.

“Charles, can I ask for a favor?” Jayden said.

“Say it way,” Charles said and they all paid their attention to Jayden.

“Jordan is like a brother to me…”

“You said that before, head straight to the favor,” Charles said.

“Do ghosts also get nervous?” Carolyn asked, and they all looked at her because it’s unlike her to say that.

“I’m not nervous I don’t just want to make it seem like I’m taking advantage of the situation,” Jayden said.

“Either ways, I don’t have a choice but to listen,” Charles winked.

“Jordan is a happy man, he loves his camera so much and…” he shuddered.

“Jayden just proceed to the favor,” Violet said.

“Even if his current situation is not related to what we are working on, and he has noting to contribute to help this case. Can we help him?”

“Is that all?” Charles asked, and he nodded.

“Goodness, Jayden . You’re a really funny one,” Violet said.

“Not funny. There are right words to use to certain situations!” Charles snapped.

“So what’s it?” Violet blurted, and they started arguing unnecessarily.

“I believe that means yes,” Carolyn said, and Jayden chuckled.

Jayden possessed Maxwell, and Violet helped him teleport to wait behind for Charles and Carolyn who travelled all the way to the countryside for almost three hours.

They arrived at the orphanage and Violet possessed Carolyn, together the three of them entered the orphanage together and went to the woman in charge.

“Mother Regina,” Maxwell/ Jayden grumbled as they always refer the woman in charge

They explained to her that they got news that Jordan was there and wanted a word with him.

“I won’t stop you from going to him, he is at the basement, but he won’t see you. He has been there for over a year without talking to anyone. He never opens he door for anyone, we always leave his food behind the door and he gets it whenever he pleases,”

“Mo… I mean madam Regina…” Maxwell said, and let in a deep breath.

“Young man, feel free to call me mother Regina like everyone here does. I have raised a lot of grown up children and Jordan is also one of them,” she said and they all smiled.

“Mother Regina, can we at least give it a try?” he asked.

“Suit yourselves. I’ll lead the way,” she said, and they all went there together.

She knocked severally and tried to convince him to open the door but he didn’t, so she left them to it. After several failed attempts, they decide to give up.

“Why don’t you leave that body and help us teleport in?” Charles suggest, and they all glared at him.

“We will scare him. Not just him, but Maxwell too. Even if Vee does it, he will still still be scared,”

“So what do we do? Stay here and knock all day?” he snapped, bug Jayden ignored him.

Jayden thought of what to do and decide to give his old trick a try to see if it works.

“Jordan, will you be there forever and have nature strike you for cheating it? You don’t want to face the wrath of nature,” Jayden said, and they all looked at him.

“That won’t even convince a toddler,” Charles teased.

“It always works while we were younger,”

“But you’ve grown from those gullible kids. You’re a ghost and he is—“ Charles was saying but Violet cut in.

“That’s enough, let’s just leave we can stay behind to watch when he picks his meal,” Carolyn/Violet said.

“He won’t talk if he doesn’t want to,”

“Then you can try your tricks then,” Charles teased.

“Goodness, Charles, you aren’t helping!” Jayden snapped.

“What do…” Charles was saying when the door suddenly burst opened.

“Jordan,” Jayden called.

Jordan started looking around, “Where is he? Where is Jayden?” Jordan muttered, and they all looked at Maxwell.
*
They entered inside and Jordan didn’t stop looking at Maxwell.

“We’re sorry for intruding your solemn, we’ve some questions to ask you relating to the picture,” Charles said, and dripped a copy of the photo they already printed out to him.

“Someone finally asked,” he grumbled, and they all looked at him, enlightened.

“You know something?” Maxwell asked.

“Now I remember why you looked familiar, you were the man,” he said, and they all looked at Maxwell.

They all opened thier mouth agape by the thought that Jordan recognized Maxwell, and Maxwell/Jayden decide to take advantage of the situation.

“I was the one, you must’ve seen me attack her,” Maxwell/Jayden said to everyone surprise, that was never part of their plan.

“You… you…” Jordan shuddered.

“I want to turn myself in but I need evidence,” Maxwell/Jayden said.

“Is that the reason you were hiding?” Carolyn/Violet asked.

“Yes,” he muttered

“Can you tell us what you saw and why you’re hiding?” Charles asked.

“This is what I saw,” Jordan said, and showed them a video in his camera.

A video of when Maxwell hit Violet’s head, and Carolyn/Violet looked away immediately, while Charles held her hand in comfort.

Ella was busy in her office when prosecutors barged inside followed by her secretary.

“Miss Ella Blake, we have a warrant of arrest for you,” the prosecutor said.

“What? Arrest? For what?!” she shouted, but they ignored her and handcuffed her, “You can’t do this! What’s my crime?!”

“For the murder conspiracy of Ms. Violet Holt,”

“What? Murder what? Let me call my lawyer! Veronica, call my lawyer!” she shouted as the prosecutor lead her away.

They got to the parking lot and she met Mr. Josh handcuffed as well.

“Miss Blake…” he slurred.

The prosecutors lead them to the car and took them away.
*
They got to the prosecutor office and Ella was being interrogated.

The prosecutor presented the video and the messages she exchanged with Maxwell to her, the messages she thought she wiped off.

“Are you still going to deny it? Mr. Martins your accomplice who escaped from prison returned with this evidence, and also accused you for framing him for his recant case, meanwhile, the driver involved his recent case also confessed to it. Will you keep on denying it?” the prosecutor said, and Ella looked away.

“I refuse to say a word until my lawyer arrives,” she muttered, thinking of a way out of the mess.
