“ Queen Rebecca’s reign might just come to an abrupt end. She has always held her shoulders high because she is the first queen to bear two male children for the king” Monisha, the king’s first queen said twirling her chalice of red wine in her right hand.
“ She even had the guts to challenge you because she held the position of the crowned prince’s mother “ Gregoria, the king’s third wife sneered before sipping on her own chalice.
“ Her son Elias is drawing closer to his death on the bed and Vance, ha! He might just die playing Knight. Then my son Jacob can finally lay claim to the throne” Monisha said and chuckled at the thought.
“ Why do you love building castles in the air?“ Rebecca said as she walked in accompanied by two maidens.
“ Did you leave your manners at the door? Don’t forget that I am the king’s first wife”
“ And I am the crown prince’s mother, we all know who holds the power” Rebecca said raising her head high.
“ Don’t inflate your head too much dear, it’s already threatening to pop and when it does, I’ll be there to pick up the crown my dear and throw you to the trenches where you belong” Monisha said and huffed before walking away with Gregoria by her side.
Rebecca tightened her fists before walking towards prince Elias’s chambers.
“ What is the report on the crown prince’s health?“ Rebecca asked the physician after dismissing the servants.
“ There’s nothing much to report your majesty. His highness’s energy core is depleting day by day. His only hope is to get a power boost big enough to jolt him up or I’m afraid his core will run out” the physician said.
“ What do I do now? Vance is my only hope left. I have to ensure his safety. Guards!“ She summoned.
“ Yes your majesty!“
“ Send a battalion of soldiers and go to Aprilla at once. Bring back my son in one piece, understood!“
“ Yes your majesty”
“ I’ll have to contain the situation before I’m stripped of everything I have” Rebecca muttered softly before giving Elias one last look.
She sighed heavily as she caressed his pale cheeks.

In the garden of the palace, beautiful birds flew around chirping in harmony as a fair maiden braided palm leaves together.
“ Princess Karen, your mother queen Gregoria seeks your presence” a maiden informed her.
She placed the palms on the ground and walked into the palace. She arrived at her mother’s room and bowed slightly before taking a seat.
“ The battle for the throne has begun and although it seems like I’m not even in the race but they don’t know what I have planned. I’ll rule this kingdom by placing you on the throne” queen Gregoria muttered.
Karen looked at her mother and sighed before looking away, staring aimlessly at the window.

“ Good girl, I knew you wouldn’t disappoint, now let’s go home to where you belong “ Drago said and held Olivia’s hand.
“ Let go of me you monster!“ Olivia exclaimed trying to pry her hand out of his.
Suddenly the king grabbed a huge glass piece and stabbed Drago in the back.
“ Die you monster!!“ He exclaimed pushing the glass as deep as he could.
Drago emitted a strong force that pushed the king away and broke the glass. His back healed up instantly.
Drago looked up with his pitch black eyes and immediately, the chandelier above the king’s head broke loose and fell heavily on him crushing his bones.
“ Nooo!!!!! Father!!! “ Olivia screamed out as blood seeped out of the holes in her father’s body.
“ Your majesty!“ The knights exclaimed as well as some of the remaining soldiers.
Olivia crawled to King Richard’s mutilated body. “ Father…please…please I beg you bring my father back. I’ll do whatever you say, I’ll obey you but please bring him back please” Olivia cried begging Drago profusely.
“ Awwwn, you look beautiful when you cry” Drago said and squatted next to her.
“ Come, let’s go before I shed more blood” Drago said and raised her up to her feet forcefully.
“ Let go of her now!“ A bass voice resonated within the ballroom drawing everyone’s attention.
Drago turned around and a crooked smile found it’s way to his lips.
“ If it isn’t my wretched son, Lucien ” Drago muttered
“ My name is Malone and I don’t accept you as my father “ Malone said through gritted teeth.
“ Are you here to poke your nose in your father’s business?“ Drago seethed.
“ Unfortunately I have to interfere. You are stepping into my territory” Malone replied walking closer to them.
Olivia and basically everyone else in the room were dumbstruck. “ Malone…is Drago’s son?“
“ Since you’re here, let me introduce you to your new mother, Olivia” Drago said and pulled Olivia to his side.
Immediately, Malone’s left eye turned pitch black resembling Drago’s eyes. He sped over and punched Drago on his face, sending him back a few meters.
Malone pulled Olivia behind him and brought out his sword facing his father head on.
“ I don’t approve of your relationship, so find someone else” Malone growled.
Drago’s eyes glowed and a huge portal opened up in the middle of the room sucking in everything.
“ Everyone, run ! “ Vance screamed out.
Krypton grabbed Aphrodite and Krystal’s hands and sped out of the palace. Bruno followed behind.
Vance grabbed hold of Olivia and led her away as they ran out the ground began breaking up and Olivia fell in.
“ Olivia!“ Vance muttered and tried jumping in after her but the force pushed him away.
Malone sped over and jumped in after her.
Drago fell on one knee and his hair was turned gray and his face shriveled.
“ You need to replenish your energy my lord” Vados muttered and held Drago before disappearing into thin air.
