MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
Axel entered the kitchen and imagined Melanie standing by the counter.
He leaned against the door and crossed his arms against his chest, reminiscing the moments with her in the kitchen.
“Füçk, what have you done to me, Mel? I just can’t get you outta my head,” he mumbled to himself.
Melanie stood by the counter and flashed a sweet smile at him. She beckoned him with her hand.
“Come on!” She waved.
Axel smiled and took slow steps towards her. Just as he got to the counter, Melanie’s body vanished.
He sighed and ran his hand through his silky hair.
“This is driving me insane,” he whispered.
He left the kitchen and went to his room, he picked his car keys and then left the house, heading to their suite.
***
A4’S SUITE***
Axel entered the suite and met Aaron present in the room, the other guys were absent.
“Hey dude,” Aaron called surprisingly.
“Hey,” Axel sat on a couch with a sigh.
“You okay? And what are you doing here?” Aaron questioned.
Axel raised a brow.
“Can’t I come here anymore?” He asked.
“C’mon, that’s not what I meant. You rarely come here ever since you rented an apartment, so I’m just… Surprised” Aaron muttered.
“Well.. I was bored so I just decided to visit,” Axel said.
“What about Melanie? You aren’t friends with her?”
“She left,” Axel mumbled and closed his eyes.
“What? Why?”
“Her Mom asked her to return home… It’s just frustrating,” Axel groaned.
Aaron stared at him intently.
“I understand you, bro” he said
Axel opened his eyes and stared at him.
“Wait… Do you think you can hide it from me? I’m your best friend dude and I literally know everything about you,” Aaron chuckled.
“I’m just worried. I mean, why did it have to be her? She’s your first love and Ace…. He isn’t gonna take it lightly with you,” he muttered.
“I know, I feel like a betrayer but I can’t give up on her… I love her, like so d@mn much. I don’t even know how it happened, I don’t know when, I don’t even know why. I just…” Axel shook his head.
“Can’t believe the popular playboy heart got tamed by a timid girl” Aaron laughed.
Axel glared at him.
“That ain’t funny” he stood up.
“Where to?” Aaron asked.
“My room,” Axel replied and disappeared.
“It’s really gonna be hard for you,” Aaron sighed.
His mind drifted to Lauren and he scoffed in disbelief.
“Who am I? Like what the hell? She doesn’t know me?”

BROWN’S RESIDENCE***
Eyes wide opened in shock, Melanie’s mouth was wide opened as she stared at Paisley hugging her Mom. She definitely wasn’t expecting her to show up, but she did. And now??
What was she up to actually? Playing the victim card or what?
“Aunt,” Paisley whispered again, hugging Mrs. Brown tighter. Heaven knows how much she missed the woman in her arms.
Mrs. Brown sighed and pushed her away from her slightly.
“This is not the time for this, we need to talk” she said.
Paisley bit her lips gently. She glanced at Melanie to find her staring at her, slowly she looked away.
Mrs. Brown folds her arms across her chest and breathes out loudly.
“I believe you know why I called you here, isn’t it?” She started.
Paisley lowered her head and didn’t utter a word.
“Let’s have our seat first, then we can discuss,” Mr. Brown said.
“Do you know what I’m glad for right now?” Mr. Brown asked after they’ve all settled down.
“That you honored our invitation even after what you did. But one thing is still unclear to me, why did you do that?” He asked.
“Firstly, I never knew my daughter had a boyfriend. I mean, at this age?” Mrs. Brown scoffed.
“I’m 20, Mom,” Melanie interrupted, rolling her eyes.
Mrs. Brown ignored her and continued.
“And then… You slept with her boyfriend?”
“I wouldn’t say it was a mistake, Aunt” Paisley muttered.
“What?”
“I know no amount of words would take back what I did, but what I know is that it wasn’t a mistake,” Paisley mumbled.
“I love him. I’ve always did since the day I set my eyes on him. But, he chose Melanie over me, I was heartbroken. I tried my best to support their relationship since she’s my best friend but he just made things hard for me” she sniffed.
“He was always talking about her, yet he acts nice to me. It got to a stage when he came to me that Melanie didn’t give him what he wanted, which was her body. I…” She bit her lips.
“I gave him mine with the hope of him loving me back, it became something I didn’t want to stop anymore. I felt addicted to him, but…”
