Mandy’s lips began shaking as she heard that. The fear she was avoiding appeared in her eyes and she started crying.
She will be going to jail and the look in his eyes shows he isn’t joking about it.
“You’re heartless Mandy, he took the drug for one week, what if I didn’t show up to trigger his memories, I would have lost my friend.. you two are not fated to be together Mandy, your game ended before you even started it, your ticket will go to a waste, happy stay in jail” Freddie said.
Mandy quickly went on her knees and started begging.
“I don’t want to go to jail please allow me to go and I will leave Mexico completely please” She cried.
“Sorry darling, I can’t” Jeremy said scornfully.
The door suddenly opened and three cops entered.
Their eyes widened as they saw Jeremy.
Mandy’s eyes widened as she saw the cops.
“Are you still alive?” The cops asked.
“Yes” Jeremy replied and explained everything to them.
“Take her” Jeremy said.
“Jeremy please, I don’t want to go to prison” She said.
One of the cops eyes widened as he saw Mandy’s face.
“Mandy” He called and she looked up.
“Prescott” She called with widened eyes.
Prescott looked at her wickedly.
“You murderer, you killed your husband and took away his properties and ran down here to Puebla” Prescott said.
“Prescott I’m sorry”.
“Shut up will your sorry bring back my brother?, You murdered him in cold blood, you would have denied it if the camera didn’t captured your face, you ran away when the cops started looking for you, you left America to Mexico after embezzling his properties, now I’m going to make sure my brother get his justice Bîtch, you didn’t love him but you still married cos of his money” He said and handcuffed her hands.
“A criminal will always be a criminal, even here in Mexico you still had the guts to commit a crime by keeping someone hostage” Prescott said and started dragging her out.
She looked back in tears while staring at Jeremy who was staring emotionless and blankly at her.
“To the hospital” Freddie said to the other two cops.
Jeremy faced Freddie and hugged him.
“Thank you for helping me buddy” Jeremy said.
“Come on buddy, let’s finish this and you will go back home to see your girlfriend”.
“I can’t wait to see her beautiful face and hold her in my hands” Jeremy said, dreamily.
THE HOSPITAL**
Doctor Klein was about to go out when the door opened and three cops entered with Mandy handcuffed.
Jeremy and Freddie entered and he didn’t need anyone to tell him what was going on.
He started sweating already, knowing his end is near. Mandy has sold him out.
They’re both going down.
He looked at everyone’s face before looking at Mandy.
“You betrayed me Mandy” He said in a shaky voice.
“Doctor Klein you are under arrest for conniving with Mandy here to keep your patient hostage and for giving her an illegal drug to make Jeremy Wealth lose his memories completely” A cop said.
All of a sudden a punch landed on his face from Jeremy, he staggered back and Jeremy punched him again.
“You don’t deserve to be a doctor” Jeremy yelled.
Freddie stepped forward and punched him, he pushed him to Jeremy and he punched, Jeremy pushed him back to Freddie and he headbutted him so hard.
“That’s enough” The cops intervened and took him from them.
One of the cuffs on Mandy’s hand was removed and cuffed on his hand.
“Bastard” Freddie said..
Klein was already bleeding from his mouth.
“You will regret this day and I will make sure this hospital goes down, your license will be seized bastard” Freddie said and the cops started taking them out.
AN HOUR LATER**
The cops took Doctor Klein and Mandy to prison and all charges were placed against them. They were taken to prison already.
Jeremy asked the cops to keep everything that happened today away from the public, he doesn’t want anyone to know he is alive, he will make himself known to the public after seeing his baby.
He wore a face mask and walked out of the station with Freddie.
“I am wondering the look on her face when she sees me” Jeremy said.
“She will be so happy to see you, let’s go” Freddie said and they entered the call.
“What were you doing in Puebla?” Jeremy asked.
“Jameson wants your restaurant to be the one to handle his birthday food, so as the president of yummy restaurant, I came here to discuss things with him, after that I decided to take a tour around Puebla and ended up seeing you”.
“Thank you for coming here, you saved me” Jeremy said.
Freddie hugged him and he hugged Jeremy back.
“Time to see your addiction” Freddie said and Jeremy broke the hug.
They smiled at each other before Freddie drove out.
TWO HOURS LATER**
Freddie’s car drove into Jeremy’s mansion and stopped in front of the mansion.
“Go in, I have somewhere to be now, you need to spend the whole of today with her” Freddie said.
“Thanks for everything buddy, you are the best friend in the world” Jeremy said, getting emotional already.
“Hey dude she is waiting, go in now” Freddie said and started pushing him out of the car.
Jeremy laughed as he opened the door and came out, removing the mask off his face.
Some of the guards in the mansion eyes widened immediately they saw him.
“Bye buddy” Freddie said and drove out.

They rushed to Jeremy and he smiled at them.
“Is this really you?” A guard asked.
“It’s me” Jeremy said.
“But don’t let anyone know I’m back” He said and the guards nodded.
Jeremy looked at the mansion and walked in.
He really missed this place.
He entered the mansion and walked to the living room.
He looked around and nothing changed.
He turned around, checking the mansion.
His heart started beating when he remembered in the next minute he will be seeing HIS ADDICTION.
Suddenly Jeremy started hearing some steps coming down the stairs.
Mõ@nna stopped immediately when she saw the person in the living room.
She wanted to call Freddie’s name but she looked closely and gasped.
Her heart began beating fast… She will always recognize the person even if it’s his back.
Jeremy smiled and slowly turned around.
Mõ@nna’s eyes almost bulged out of its socket and she froze instantly on her spot.
