We got to the airport in no time and I sighted Trenchy pacing to and fro not excluding Alex while Natalie sat comfortably on the car bonnet which I recognized as Trenchy’s car
I took slow strides towards them and Alex rushed to me
“You are so dead today”. He said grinning
“I know, you don’t have to tell me”. I replied and walked towards Natalie
“Hi Nat, it’s good to have you back sis”. I said faking a smile placing my hand across her neck
“Oh boy, I’m so happy to be here again. You came late to welcome me”. She said my fake smiles faded immediately and I dropped my hands
Why can’t she at least be nice?
She is just returning for Christ sake!!
“Oh that, ehm…the….the thing is my driver made me late”. I said and they all gasped
“Your driver? You now have one?”. She asked looking surprised
“Yes. She delayed me”. I said and she jumped down from the bonnet
“It’s a she?”. She asked and I nod
She raced towards my car and knocked on the tinted glass.
The glass came rolling down immediately and she gasped
“She is so beautiful”. I heard her say and I let out a low scoff
“What’s your name sëxy?”. She asked leaning on the door which is now opened
“Goldin”. She replied politely
“Wow, so I heard you delayed that punk”. She said pointing her index finger at me
“Thank goodness you know he is a punk”. She said and Natalie gasped
“That aside first, why did you delay him?”. She asked sternly and Goldin flinched a bit
“Me? I never did that. He overslept and even spent 2 hours just to dress up”. She said giving me a hard glare
Must she reply her?
“Ehm… Nat, I mean sis Nat, we can continue this conversation at home right?”. Trenchy asked and she smirked
“Of course. Drive in your respective cars. I’ll be going with Alex”. She said and we all heaved a sigh of relief
“Wait…… What!!!!!!! Not me. I didn’t come with my car. I came with Trenchy”. He said
“That’s nice. Let’s get going”. She entering the car and the both of them rushed to the driver’s sit
I got into the car leaving them behind battling on who’s gonna drive

“Drive to Trenchy’s mansion”. I said and she took off immediately

I drove into the mansion and packed the car at the lot expecting him to rush down like he always do but he didn’t
“Why did you tell her that?”. He asked which made me scoff
“Why did you lie to her?”. I replied with a question and he shot me a deadly glare which I saw through the mirror
I hissed loudly bringing out my phone
“Then you should be ready for death”. I suddenly heard him say
“At least I’ll join my parents and I’ll also be free from jerks like you”. I said angrily and came down from the car leaning on it

I could swear I felt a sting immediately she said those words

I’m really going crazy right now. Her smiles drives my crazy even her red tempting lips and her perfect spotless skin

I sighed for the tenth time before walking into the company
I walked to the receptionist and she stared at me before clearing her throat
“Good day sir, how may I help you?”. She asked
“Erm… I’m here for the job interview”. I replied and she nod
“Okay but you will have to come tomorrow”. She said with a smile on her face
“Why?”. I asked nervously
“The boss is not around be he will surely be around tomorrow”. She said staring at me
“Can I ask a question?”. I asked and she mad giving me a go ahead
“Why I’m I the only one here?”. I asked looking around
“Well the truth is you are the first person to get here”. She answered taking hers eyes back to what she was doing
“Okay. Thank you, I’ll get going. See you tomorrow then”. I said giving her a sweet smile and she gasped but quickly regained herself
I walked out of the company releasing the breath I never knew I was holding
“I thought I was late”. I thought inwardly
