CHAPTER 7⚔️8
Evelyn packed her bag and moved out of the room.She planned to stay in a hotel during the mission.
She had gotten a mail a day before to come for an interview at Stardust group for the post of a bodyguard.
She boarded a taxi and headed to an hotels.The interview was to take place at 11:00am and it was just 9am so she still had many time to rest and sketch a proper plan.
She got off the taxi and went into the hotel.It was her regular hotel and she already had a room there.It was the place she always went to whenever she had a fight with her father.
She got her keys from the reception and headed to her room.She entering the room and looked round.
It still remained the same as ever.She moved towards the curtains and pulled it off.Behind it was different pictures of people both male and female.They were people she had killed.
“Hey,I guess someone will be joined you within next three months.”said Evelyn as she touched the pictures.
She went to her bag and brought out her gun.She sat on the bed and win it carefully with a handkerchief.
“Cherrie,we are on another mission again.We are going to take another life.When will all these end?.You really have to say something this time,I am tired of always being the one talking to you”said Evelyn as she stared at her gun.
She chuckled sadly as droplets of tears formed in her eyes.
“It’s okay, cherrie.You can’t even speak,I guess I was too harsh.I am sorry.Come on,we have an interview to attend.”said Evelyn as she dropped her gun and headed to the bathroom.
She had a quick bath and put on a suit making her look so corporate.
“OMG,I never knew an assassin could look this good”Evelyn said to herself as she stared at herself through the mirror.She laughed sadly and picked up her purse as she left the room.
There was no way she would leave without cherrie so she placed her in a gun belt tied tightly around her waist.
She couldn’t get a taxi outside the hotel so she decided to walk down the alley which led to a place near the group.
She wall down the dark alley courageously.Of course,she had nothing to be afraid,she could take down ten men or more all by herself.
She stopped when she heard sounds of footstep but she ignored it and kept on moving.
Immediately she saw dark shadows coming towards her and it became clear to her that she was surrounded.
“What is the all about!”she shouted loudly as she stretched her arms prepared for a fight.
“You came to us, dear and we won’t let you go without having a taste of you”said one of the men while she squeezed her face in disgust.it seemed like he was the leader of the gang.
“Really then I guess you deserve some beating.”said Evelyn as she went towards them.
She did a good job in making sure she broke at least a body part of each of them and they didn’t even succeed in hitting her once.
“That’s it for now. I have an interview to attend so let’s meet again if you need more”said Evelyn as she walked out of the alley.
They all stared at her in shock.Thet couldn’t believe a thin looking lady like her possessed such fighting skills.They couldn’t even say a word let alone move and all their body was aching from the beating they just received.
Evelyn walked out and discovered that her white shirt was stained with blood.
“Uhhh those bastards”she cursed as she went into a mall to get a new shirt.
She ran all the way to the group sweating profusely.She needed no one to tell her that she was late but she still decided to try.
She looked at how big the building was and she was amazed.She didn’t waste time admiring the building as she rushed inside and moved to the reception.
“I am Evelyn Sylvester.I was called in for an interview today”said Evelyn as she breathed irregularly.
“That way, ma’am.First room on the 40th floor”said the receptionist as she pointed towards the elevator.
Evelyn got into the elevator and pressed the 43rd floor.She misheard the receptionist and thought she was heading to the right floor.
Right in the elevator,she re-arranged her shrinkled clothes and wiped off her sweats with her handkerchief.
The elevator opened and she rushed into the first room.She was greeted by an amazing sight.

Charles was done with the interview for the bodyguards and he felt disappointed that none of them suit his taste He was more disappointed that Evelyn wasn’t present and he wondered what went wrong.
He headed towards his suite on the 43rd floor still pondering about Evelyn and he even scolded himself for being worried about a lady he had never met.
He got into his suite and began to pull off his clothes.He needed a shower at the moment.
He was only in his boxers which he was about to pull off when someone barged into his suite.He didn’t bother locking the door to his suite since everyone knew it was off-limit so no one came there except him.
His eyes widen as he stared at the lady before him.
