” Ahhhn ” my head hurts so bad .
I rolled on the bed and landed butts first on the floor .
” Sh!t” I cursed under my breath as I rubbed my arms .
I stood up from the bed and my eyes widened as I stared at the bed , then my dress .
How did I get to the bed ? I wondered as I stared at the bed in confusion .
I rubbed my head as my mind went back to last night , how I felt him carry me in his strong arms .

This is so embarrassing , how am I gonna face him now ? First I raised that skimpy Nightwear in front of him ,now I let him carry me .
You were asleep it’s not your fault . My mind reminded and I sighed in relief.
I Quickly freshened up and changed into a pair of geans and Formal shirt ,paired with shoes .
” Good morning ” I said and he stared at me then back at his phone.
” Goodmorning , everyone has gathered for breakfast already we should go down” he said and I gave a nod .
I was already in front of the door when he called my name .
” Cora …” I stopped and turned immediately.
” Hmmn” I answered .
” You forgot to wear this ” he said and I cursed under my breath when I saw the ring in his hands.
” Sorry “I apologized as I tried to take the ring . He stepped closer as he opened his other hand .
I raised my eyebrows in confusion and he gestured for me to place my hand.
Immediately he held my ring finger ,Sparks travelled through my body as my cheeks heated up .
” Don’t take it off ” he said after putting it on me .
He sent his hands to my waist as we walked out together .
This is just for show ,he doesn’t care about you . I reminded myself as we joined the Family downstairs.
” Elroy …Nuella you guys look so good together I can’t help but admire young beautiful couple ” Jacobs mom said excitedly and Jacob eyed us teasingly .
We sat together and they started serving the meal ,As Berna made to serve Dylan I stopped her her from Adding shrimps.
” He’s Allergic to them ” i said and he stared at me in suprise.
Probably suprised that I still remembered , Dylan and I were never really a couple but we we’re lovers ,our relationship was more of the bedroom activity .
But we had our moments were we made made good memories together .
Talked about each other’s likes and dislikes , I knew he has always been allergic of shrimps and peanuts .
Peanuts had him bad because he gets an instant reaction to them . Dylan had always been the picky one when it came to his food.
” I’m so sorry Elroy we didn’t know ” Elise apologized.
” It’s okay ,I’m Allergic to peanuts too ” He said and everyone fell quiet for a while before they started talking amongst themselves.
After breakfast the parents left for their potato farm and Berna left for classes .
” What’s the plan from here ? Dylan asked Jacob curiously.
” Sergio already got you both spots at his company …..Dylan would be one of his bodyguards , And she gets a spot as a part time cleaner in his Mansion ” Jacob said and Dylan pinched his nose.
An habit of his when he’s upset .
” You mean she’s gonna be frequent at his mansion alone ,isn’t that dangerous ” he said disturbed.
” C’mon Dylan Cora is Skilled ,you talk like you don’t know Chill. ” Jacob said as he leaned on his chair .
” I’m okay with it ” I said and he rubbed his forehead.
” It’s not a matter of if you’re okay with it or not . Viktor has an history of being an abuser ” he said immediately.
” I can defend myself Dylan ” I said with arms folded . It didn’t sit well with me that he thinks he can show his worry towards me and then hurt me afterwards.
” We are actually going after Mr Viktor Del Rosario …a young politician who happens to be a member of the group we are up against , Sergio believes Viktor …is a very smart man and so must hold a top rank in the gang …..if you work closely and gain his trusts as his bodyguard , it’ll make our work easy from that angle .
” And with Cora working in his Mansion ,she’d get personal information about his lifestyle and all …it’s a good catch ,so drop the sentiments …it’s not like you guys are a real couple no offense” Jacob said and that seem to shut him up immediately cause he looked away as he bit his lower lip .
We both left with Jacob who drove us to our different stops .
Dylan didn’t say a word throughout the ride immediately we reached his stop ,he came down and Jacob handed him his fake Identity card .
” Play safe , everyone in there’s smart ” he warned .
” I’ve got this ” Dylan answered as his eyes met mine for a moment before he turned around and walked into the company with both hands in his pocket and a backpack on his shoulder.
As we arrived at the Mr Viktor’s Place , I came down from the Truck immediately.
As he drove off ,I walked towards the gate tiredly.
” Good morning , Welcome darling you must be Nuella ? I’m Nanny freda the head maid around here come in ” The nice lady said as she led me in.
As I stepped into the building ,I had an unsettling feeling in my stomach .
And I knew wh@tëver I was up against in this mission was surely gonna be bl**Dy .

And she had the effotry to say my care wasn’t needed . Exactly it has always never needed , after all she didn’t acknowledge my feelings for her and kept rejecting me in the past until I had to give up on her .
So why will it be needed now ?
” Who are you ” A Big guy stopped Me right before I could enter the property.
He wore security uniform and looked tough .
” I’m Elroy Garcia the New Bodyguard” I said showing him my Card .
” Get in ,the Boss is waiting in his office ,I wonder why they hired a married man ” he said Angrily .
I turned as I strolled into the building , Everyone was busy with different files .
The smell of fresh papers hit my nose as someone strolled passed me with a mug of coffee.
I walked towards the receptionist.
” You’re here to see Mr Viktor ? Oh you’re the new Guard right ? She asked politely .
” Yes ma’am ”
” Oh please call me candy ” she said and gestured towards his office .
” Be careful” she warned softly and when she waved her hands softly ,I understand at that point sat she was part of the De Luca’s.
How did Sergio manage to get his eyes even in this place .
He has his connections ,he’s the master planner and when he strikes ,he plays his cards right.
” Can I come in sir ? I asked and the guy swirls his chair around.
” Elroy Garcia am I correct ? He asked sternly.
” Yes sir ” I said and he smirked .
” Good …are you sure you can do this job ? He asked and I realized he has a double meaning to the question.
” I’m willing to work Sir wh@tëver it takes ” I said and he smirked .
” You will get paid handsomely , but I need your mouth shut or you’d pay for it ” he said and stood up with his hands tucked in his formal Pants.
” My eyes are on you ,I’d inform you when you earn my trust ,for now you stick to protecting me ” He said and I gave a nod .
” You may leave” He snapped.
I didn’t do much that day though ,one of his men drove me around then brought me back to the office .
” If you Earn the Boss’s Trust you will be a moneybag ” Andie said smirking and I laughed dryly with him .
Moneybag ? These people were unto a more bigger business than what meets the eyes .
I’m very positive they will lead us to the Big Familia that’s trying to bring the De Luca’s down .
I hung my Bag and Decided to find my way to Jacobs.
When I got home , Cora was already back . She sat with Elise as they Laughed together.
” Your husband has arrived already ” Elise teased and she stood up as she turned .
” Welcome babe ” she said and my heart warmed up as she kissed my cheeks.
I knew too well that this was for show , because we were infront of Aunt Elise ,but something about it warmed up my heart.
Don’t act stupid Dylan it’s just for show . She walked infront and I greeted aunt Elise politely.
My eyes trailed behind Cora and I sucked under my breath at the way her A*s bounced underneath the floral dress she wore .
She must have felt my intense gaze because she turned immediately and my eyes met her bare preety face with no make up on .
I shut my eyes briefly for a moment as I decided to go upstairs to our room .
My phone rang and it was Gio.
” Hey man ‘ I said and he chuckled.
” Sound tired ,how was your first day .” He asked
” How did you know I just got home ? I asked and he laughed.
” I asked first dude ” he said teasingly.
” Good …I met Viktor…the Bastard has a lot up his sleeves though ” I said and he laughed.
Cora Walked passed me again in the room and as I talked on the phone my eyes trailed from her backside to her preety legs .
How can she be so ignorant of what she’s doing to me ?
I listened to Sergio Attentively ,There was this painful sensation in my lower region .
” Jacob told me you snapped about letting Cora work at Viktor’s ,don’t worry I got you ” he said and I shifted my eyes from her immediately.
” I don’t care ” I said immediately.
” Say that to yourself till you believe it then “he mocked .
Sergio can be annoying when he wants to be .
” I don’t care , okay ” I repeated myself.
” Did I argue with you ? Dylan say it to yourself untill it sinks , because it’s just a matter of time before you’re bending her over your table …..it’s in us …
” The wildness ”
” That Raw Desire for the woman we want ….most at times it’s someone we can’t have ” he said and ended the call .
She turned around and picked her phone . I walked into the bathroom immediately.
I’m in a relationship ,I have a child and fiance to return back to .
My wants do not matter ,my desires do not count .
