Chapter 43 ?
The sister of the dark stood up slowly and opened her red veil. “My name is Nikita, a sister of the dark!” She introduced.
Ellen and Christian shifted into their wolves Immediately and growled at her as self defenses. “I’m not here to harm you.” She surrendered.
Brittany glared furiously at her. “If you are not here to cause trouble, why then did you choose to come through my door into my house?” Sandra yelled.
Milena started laughing and they shifted their glares to her. “Oops! Sorry guys…she didn’t come through the door.” She laughed again.
Brittany hit her on the forehead and she groaned. “Alright! The thing is….I saved her.” She said and their mouths dropped open. “But I don’t know how she ended up here.” She quickly added.
Brittany hit her forehead again. “When will you stop being dumb? You saved her, which means she is going to follow her savior.” She said.
Milena scoffed. “You are spouting nonsense Britt.” She grumbled. “I’m not here to cause trouble.” Sister Nikita repeated.
Ellen and Christian changed back to humans. “Then go back to where you came from!” Nora yelled, holding Christian’s shirt.
She surprisingly sat on the cushion, throwing her veil away. “I’m gonna get killed if I dare go back.” She muttered.
Ellen scoffed. “You have killed hundreds of people, are you afraid to die now?” She asked. “Why?” Milena whispered, referring to her statement.
Sister Nikita sighed. “I’m a traitor because of the fact that I traveled here with you, the fact that I traveled with the Enamel.” She explained.
Nora held her glasses well while pouring water into a glass cup. “Is traveling that difficult in your coven? And how’s that a problem with her?” She asked.
“She’s the Enamel, the savior. They had tried to kill her three times now and they expected me to kill her when I was with her but I didn’t.” Nikita says.
Milena raised one of her fingers up. “Wait, I don’t understand. They tried to kill me three times, how?” She asked. “And what stopped you from killing her?” Brittany added one more question.
She sighed again, grabbing the glass cup from Nora and poured water for herself. “First, when you were a baby. Second, when you were seven years old and third, just an hour ago in the sisters’ dark coven.”
Milena shook on her legs, no wonder in her vision months before when she saw her seven year old self – So, this was it?!
“To answer your question, I simply couldn’t!” She replied, referring to Brittany. “Why?” Kristen who has been silent all day long finally uttered something.
“I couldn’t because she saved my life and two, she will put an end to darkness.” She said, “But you are of the dark, why destroy darkness?” Ellen asks.
“Not every sister of the dark enter into the secret circle willingly, some were forced into it while some were initiated unconsciously into it.” She explained.
Christian sensed that Nora was still feeling weak, so he let her lay her head on his shoulder. “What do you mean?” Milena asked.
“You do remember the dark magic radiating in the palace recently right?” She asked, Brittany and Milena nodded. “New souls were being initiated unconsciously.” She stated.
They gasped as they remembered. “Those maids…..” They both chorused. The poisoned milk spilled on the floor which resulted in dark stains and some maids staring at her necklace with weird eyes.
She clicked the glass with her fingers. “Exactly! They were initiated unconsciously.” She revealed. “What about you?” Christian asks.
The glass suddenly fell to the floor as they saw a change of emotion run through her eyes. “I was forced into it….” She tried to steady her breath.
Milena went to sit beside her. “What happened?” She asked slowly. “They took my sister and promised to release her if I joined them but later realized that she was sold to the Mordseths!” She grinded her teeth together.
They were shocked when they could see her horn growing out slowly, she was angry. “Calm her down! She will destroy this entire building if her horn could grow fully.” Sandra shouted.
Milena laid her hand on her back and looked into her eyes, she could feel her neck itching. “No, no! Don’t compel her, she’s been forced into darkness once, you won’t force her to listen to your orders again.” Brittany quickly removed her hands.
Milena closed her eyes tight and opened it again, she couldn’t believe she was about to use her compelling power again. “Force has been used on her once, I will not use it on her again!” She repeated in her head.
Sister Nikita smiled with her teary eyes looking at Milena. “I kinda envy you, I’d have destroyed the sisters of the dark if I had your powers.” She smirked.
Brittany could feel her sadness as her younger sister was also taken away from her by the Mordseths. “What do we do now?” Kristen asks.
Sister Nikita chuckled. “Here is not safe considering the kind of sisters I have, I will just go to a safer place.” She said.
Sandra scoffed, rubbing her temples. “Nowhere else is safer than this place.” She said, “And what palace were you all talking about?” She asked, looking at the trio.
They glanced at themselves. “That palace is called the Red palace!” Brittany answered and they could hear Sandra gasping.
She just stood up quietly and went upstairs, sighing tiredly. They felt sorry for the poor woman, she already had enough trouble today – so they thought.
Nora’s eyes widened as she stood up quickly. “What’s wrong?” Christian asked, feeling somehow empty. “I need to go home, Father will be so angry.” She hiccupped.
Christian took out his cellphone. “Don’t worry, just give me his number, I will tell him you are sleeping over.” He quickly said.
Nora quickly wore her shoes and carried her bag. “I have to go, thank you all for today!” And she rushed out.
Father would torture me if I don’t get home quickly – Christian thought he heard in his head.

Nora opened the door slowly, trying not to make a sound. “Father? Father?” It was already so late in the evening, why isn’t he home? He never goes out anywhere.
She climbed upstairs and checked the rooms but couldn’t find him. She knocked on the door of his room. “Father??” She called.
After knocking for some time, she opened the door and found out it wasn’t even locked. Weird!
She tiptoeing walked further into the room. It’s been so long she entered into his room, when she was six? She couldn’t even remember.
She looked around and found most of the room so dusty. Doesn’t he even sleep here at all?
Walking around again, she was almost going back outside when she noticed a door behind the curtains. Huh?
She went closer and opened it but discovered it was locked. What door is this? – She asked no one in particular.
She looked closely at the lock and could see that it was a different lock, it was the same with that of her locker in school!
Hurriedly, she went downstairs to fetch her locker’s key from her bag and rushed upstairs again to try it on the door.
She fixed it, just at once it clicked open. She opened the door and was shocked, he had a secret study?
She gasped at the lined shelves and arranged books, tables and chairs, laptop and heaps of docvments on the table.
Being at the peak of her curiosity, she walked to his table and ran her hands through the loads of docvments.
Her eyes dimmed as it caught something strange, a picture of a Lycan? – she looked closely on it and gasped.
Prince Flynn?! The owner of the school?? He is a Lycan?? – she covered her mouth as she flipped another page.
She could see thin lines of something like a house or a cave? Is this…not the sinner’s cave? The house of the demons??
She flipped another page again and she could see list of names on that particular page in which some were already cancelled with a red tempo and some were starred while some were still untouched.
Number 1 on the list is a name called – Anaphora which was already cancelled with a red tempo.
The next three was also cancelled with a red tempo and she doesn’t even know them at all.
The next was Prince Flynn, Milena, Fire – that’s her school mate that almost killed Brittany and..…oh no! Her name, they were all starred.
Her eyes widened greatly when she read the red ink written under it – Next to be killed! Quickly, she took a few shots; she was going to find out about it later.
She froze suddenly when she heard the door of the main entrance close and the so-called person was already heading upstairs.
