XUAN MANSION
The guests clapped and whistled as soon as Sofie and Anderson appeared,they were both dressed elegantly in matching clothes and cameras flashed on them from the media that was present in the Xuan mansion.
They made it to the table that was decorated beautifully and they took their seats.
The MC stepped forward and took the mic to start the celebration
🎙️”Good evening everyone!” He greeted and the crowd went crazy “Wow you all look breathtaking” he smiled
👥”Thank you!”
🎙️”Nobody is saying anything about me! I look good too and I bet all ladies here wanna have a piece of me” he teased and the crowd roared with laughter “Okay Okay tonight is not about me or you, it’s about these two” he turned to Sofie and Anderson “Mr Anderson you don’t deserve this woman, she’s too pretty” he teased
Sofie blushed and Anderson chuckled and spoke some inaudible words
🎙️”Without waste of time…” He turned to the crowd “I would like the groom’s family to step forward so we can start” he said and the Xuan stepped forward with a mini pillow case with two rings, scissors and a red ribbon placed on it

XAVIER’S MANSION
Xavier gulped down the remaining content in the glass and leaned back,he was currently sitting in his study
Nanny Diana knocked softly and pushed the door open slowly
“Can I come in?” she muttered and he didn’t even spare her a glance
She sighed and walked in slowly and shut the door
“How is she?” she looked at him and took a seat
“No change” he muttered with a hoarse voice
“Catherine is a fighter, she’ll pull through” she smiled softly and reached for his hand and squeezed it in assurance “Have you told them?”
“No, they’re busy celebrating….”
“Cole,you know your mother would want to be here with you and give you all the support you need,I know it’s hard for you but don’t shut us out…let us be there for you” she muttered
“Nanny,can I please be alone?” he whispered
She hesitated but nodded anyway and stood up
“It’s going to be okay” she looked at him and he nodded slowly and she left
Xavier stared into space with a lump stuck in his throat,his eyes felt hot inside because of the tears that were threatening to stroll out

“Stop sulking I’m almost done” Dr George took tore his gaze from Jasmine and chuckled
She bit her lip in embarrassment and chuckled
“I just feel useless in this” she pouted and he dried his hands and turned to her
“I didn’t complain did I?” he smiled at her and she shook her head
“That’s not the point George you know that”
“No I don’t,but what I know is that…” he stood behind her and wheeled her out of the kitchen “It’s a beautiful night so let’s chill outside”
“Great idea I guess” she smiled
He stopped and sat next to her and they glanced at the moon that shone brightly on them
“How did you end up there?” he whispered and looked at her
She looked down with a sad expression
“I let vegeance cloud me and I was blind to the truth,it got to my head that I was used by heartless and mean people,when I got to realise everything and know the truth it was already late and me being on a wheelchair is the result of it” she sighed sadly
“I’m sorry..” he held her hand and she chuckled painfully
“No I was dumb,so you don’t really need to apologise” she looked at him
“You know..Xavier isn’t that bad a he seems,I guess he’s just bad at solving problems and handling his anger” he pointed out “He’s a good guy even though he can be a jerk sometimes” he chuckled “What I’m trying to say is,Xavier only hurts those who mess with him and his family other than that he’s just Xavier,he helped me a lot…My parents died when I was just twelve the social workers wanted to dump me in an orphanage so I ran away” he whispered the last part
“I’m so sorry—”
“No it’s fine” he chuckled “Anyway I found myself at his home but his family took me in only for a little while until they got tired of taking care of a stranger,I left .. but he went out to look for me and went home with me…Xavier hid me in his little play room.Everytime he would give me food,snacks,water.. everything” he smiled at looked at her with glassy eyes “At times he would pretend to be sick just to stay home and play with me” he laughed
She looked at him and smiled “and then what happened? ”
“That’s a story for another time,right now..” he got hold of her wheelchair and turned it for her to face him “I just want to look into your eyes and..get lost” he whispered
Jasmine blushed as her tummy swelled with butterflies
“I like you Jasmine,I really do and I know with our age differences..—”
“Just shut up and kiss me” she muttered and bored her eyes into his
He smirked and leaned closer to her and placed his lips on hers, they held on to each other with their lips moving in a rythm and they poured out their emotions under the moonlight

“Yes! Ride that Fuçkin Sh|t!” she held on tight to him as he hovered over her
He groaned and was about to leaned in closer to kiss her and she slapped him off
“I said no kissing you goblin! Get off I lost my mood!” she pushed him off in anger and he quickly got off her
He looked down at his erected manhood and before he could beg her she threw a pillow at him
“Out!” she barked
He grabbed his clothes and ran out and almost immediately Rachel rushed in
“Boss I’m so sorry for just barging in here but there’s a problem” she rushed her words while panting
“Wh—” her words got stuck in her throat as she heard police sirens and gunshot “Fuçkin hell why are you still here! Alert everyone!” she jumped off the bed grabbed her coat and gun on the nightstand
“Got it boss!” Rachel rushed out
“Sh|t! Sh|t Sh|t! Fuçk!” she hit the gun against her head and paced around the room

The ‘relaxing’ room seemed a bit cramped as almost everyone was present,some can be seen playing pool while others drank and danced to the music
Sierra and Matthew were making out at the corner
Dr George entered the room and was about to grab a beer at the bar when he spotted Sierra with Matthew
He immediately walked up to them,he forced himself through the crowd till he reached them and hr banged on the table to catch their attention and they both turned to him
“Umm… George?” Sierra swallowed hard and quickly adjusted her skirt
“Come with me” he held her hand and pulled her but Matthew pulled her back and stepped forward
“You’re gonna have to wait buddy, she’s with me and we were in the middle of something” he said sternly
Dr George walked closer to Matthew and they both glared at each other
“Okay that’s enough” Sierra stood in between and glanced at Matthew “it’s okay, I’ll be back” she dragged George outside
“So you moved on huh?” he yanked his hand off hers as soon as they reached outside “just like that?”
“Ohh please,you made it clear that you don’t want me anymore…and i don’t have time to sulk just because of a jerk like you” she poked his chest
“Sierra.. I wasn’t trying to put up a fight—”
“What were you trying to do huh? After tossing me aside like that you have the nerve to question me when I respect your decision and move on!?” she shouted through gritted teeth
“I’m sorry” He whispered
“Don’t be” she sniffed in her tears and walked away

🎙️”Let’s welcome our soon to be Mrs Anderson Sofie Xuan,in just few hours to come and her fiancé Mr Anderson Xuan,the floor is yours” the MC announced and Anderson took hold of Sofie’s hand and led her to the centre
Everyone clapped and lights dimmed everywhere except where they stood

They kept dancing in the dark until Anderson let go of her and she stood alone in the dark and was about to leave when a strong pair of hands pulled her waist and her back crashed into a hard chest
