“Why do you think Olivia wanted to see me as soon she woke up from coma?”

Det stones asked staring at the safe box attached on the wall.

He replied and breathe in trying to unlock the safe using his passcode.
In no minute, the safe came wide opened.. Liam quickly checked.
The safe was empty.

Det stones asked.

Liam said and close back the safe box. He put back the frame on the wall.

Det stones said.

Liam said and suddenly someone barged into his office.
And there he is, the black masked assassin. He brought out his gun and pointed it at liam.

He said in a distorted voice.

Liam asked without any fear.
Det stones was already ready to bring out his gun.
“If I were you, I wouldn’t think of doing that..
Drop your gun to the ground now”
The assassin said facing det stones.
“It seems you all missed me”
He said and laughed weirdly. Det stones removed his gun from his pocket and dropped it from the ground.
“Do you have the file asset transfer?”
Liam asked suspecting the black masked assassin could be Jerry.
“Oh you mean this?”
He said and brought out the file from his back pocket.
Liam scoffs.
“I know who you are…
Det stones looked at Liam and back at the black masked assassin.
“Oh really?

He asked and put the file back into his pocket.

The masked assassin burst into laughter.

You seems relaxed ever since you were released from CPD.

He warned sternly and face Liam.

The assassin replied.
“Only doctor naresh and the two nurses were aware about this apart from det stones and I”
Liam said looking at the assassin suspiciously.
“Who are you?”
He began to move slowly to him..
“Don’t come an inch closer..
The assassin warned. Det stones cowardly move back to avoid being shot by him.
“And what if I do…?
Liam said bravely still moving closer to him. The assassin quickly shot him in the leg but Liam still managed to walk and pounce on him, throwing the masked assassin to the ground.
The gun fell off from the assassin’s hand and roll over some feets away from them.
Liam’s leg was already bleeding. He gathered strength in him and tried to remove his massk to see who he was.
The masked assassin brought out a pocket knife and slash Liam in the hand.
Liam screamed holding his bleeding hand. He get his hand off from him and the blacked assassin stood up, run after his pistol a feet away from him.
Det stones quickly grab his gun also but was too late, the assassin already ran out. Det stone shot at the office door and unfortunately he missed his target.
Liam hit his other uninjured arm angrily on the ground.
“F*ck”
“We had the chance to get him”
“Don’t worry, Liam… We will eventually catch him one day”
