“You killed Mandy, didn’t you?” she heard Tommy ask
Again, she closed her eyes, loosing consciousness
~PRESENT
“Owww, that’s really a sad story. I don’t even want to imagine what you passed through after that” Emily said, sighing deeply
She had her hands on her lap, rubbing them
“I h@të remembering the past” Jojo hiss
“I’m fine now” she said again
“Well, I don’t really think Rusty killed Mandy base on what you just narrated” Emily spoke
“You doubt because you weren’t there. I saw what he did and he couldn’t deny he did that…. That’s why he refused to even look at my face” Jojo snapped
“Well, maybe. But just judging by Rusty’s behaviour, I don’t think he’s someone who can do that, especially when he love you. I just think that you shouldn’t judge him base on his could aura. Someone must have set him up….someone you could never imagine that would do that” Emily said
“Stop! I say stop this, okay? I know what I saw”
“Okay! Fine. So, Vanessa got killed by Cassano because she betrayed him?” Emily questioned not looking at Jojo
“Yes” Jojo replied with a nod. “I could tell that she loved him but I couldn’t just tell why she betrayed him. Sometimes, I pity Cassano” Jojo murmur sadly
“Now I know why he’s cold hearted” Emily said
“Cassano can’t really control himself when ever he’s angry, especially when he’s betrayed….he will go berserk. It just seem like there’s a devil in him which controls him. The only rule Cassano treasures the most is loyalty…. You must be loyal to him even in death and the punishment for anyone who betrays him is death… He won’t think twice before putting the person to death” Jojo said
“I don’t know, I really feel bad about this and h@të his other side. I just h@të it when he’s aggressive”
“He can’t hide that side forever. Cassano’s parent were killed by Aguero Mendoza, his father’s closest friend. In fact, his life story is the most cruel that I’ve ever listen to” Jojo said, she looked away…hiding the tears which was about to fall from her eyes
“I don’t want to hear it either” Emily utter. Her heart was already too heavy. She had thought that her life was the most cruel but, hearing just the little of what Jojo had said, she knew hers wasn’t in any way as worse as that of Cassano
The one he loved the most betrayed him and he killed her
His father’s best friend killed his parent
Now, tears was falling from her eyes….. She didn’t even know what next to say. Now, she understood the inner pain and anguish he was feeling and there was nothing, absolutely nothing that would judge Cassano of being a devil
“I… I think I should be alone” Emily said, she stood up leaving Jojo.

~AGUERO’S MANSION*
Eve was dragged in by two of Aguero’s men. The two men threw her to his feet, walking out
Eve flinched.
Ever since she was locked up in one of Aguero’s cell, she was only released whenever he wants her.
A resonating slap landed on her cheek which made her began to cry immediately , rubbing her cheek
“I heard that you planned to escape, uhh” Aguero said, grabbing her chin
He stare evily at her, trying to hide his anger which was already visible
“You tried to escape from me?” he asked causing Eve to reply by sharing her head negatively
He slapped her again which made her mouth get bursted
“Of what use are you to me? Your parents owed me a huge amount of money and the favour I could do was accepting you as my daughter but still, you choose to runaway? You think I wouldn’t know? You tried to escape with the help of my monster?” Aguero growled
He flicked his finger and a guy was dragged in
“Please, don’t hurt him… I manipulated him into doing it” Eve begged while Aguero only smirked
The guy in front of them didn’t say anything. He only had his head bowed slightly. Already, he knew that no amount of pleading was going to make Aguero change his mind… Instead, it would result to something worse so, he just kneel, awaiting his punishment
“Really? You manipulated him…i like what you just said. Why don’t you manipulate me too?” Aguero said sweetly, grabbing Eve’s chin
He brought his lip closer to hers and forcefully kissed her. He broke from the kiss and an evil grin plastered on his face
“I want you to strip… Right now!” Aguero ordered sternly
Eve immediately did as instructed, pulling off her dress…. Both her underwear
Standing stark naked in front of Aguero who his licked his lip still not satisfied
“Now, watch us!” Aguero snapped at the guy who looked away
“NOW!!” He growled furiously, staring bloody at him
Aguero grabbed Eve’s B@@b, squeezing them with made her groan
Her eyes were filled with tears and she regretted ever having the thought of escaping
He unzipped his pants, th-ru_sting his d!ck into Eve’s mouth while he still squeezed her B@@bs

~CASSANO’S MANSION
••GARDEN*
Emily walked tirelessly around the garden. Already, she was done with her chores and had nothing to do. She had thought of searching for Cassano but waved the thought aside after she was informed that he left
“Why am I even bothered about him?” Emily asked her self
She shake her head, trying to wipe off all the thinking of Cassano out of her brain
Her thought went back to what Jojo told her
Aguero Mendoza, his father’s best friend and also the one who murdered his parents
Vanessa, the lady who betrayed him
Apart from Vanessa, she knew that another spy was within
She plucked a sunflower, inhaling it scent when she suddenly felt someone’s presence
She turned around only to see Tommy which made her frown immediately. Although he has saved her many times, she didn’t know why she felt awkward anytime she sees him
“Were you stalking me?” Emily asked..
“Why? Why would I do that? The garden is big enough for everyone…. It’s not restricted from anyone too” Tommy replied smiling
Emily smile back, faintly
“Searching for Cassano?” Tommy asked and Emily widened her eyes in surprise
“H.. How did you know?” she asked
“I just guess and it turned out to be true” Tommy replied and Emily chuckle
“Cassano is over there” Tommy said, pointing to a direction which Emily looked
“Thank you” she said runny off

Emily walked towards Cassano who was staring at the water
Well, there’s a lake in the garden…. Awesome, isn’t it?
She sat beside Cassano even though she was feeling awkward
“I left without saying anything….apologies” Cassano murmur under his breath
Something he hasn’t said to any lady after Vanessa, he suddenly felt the urge of saying it to her
“I’m sorry for sleeping off on your bed” Emily utter, earning a smile from Cassano
“My goodness!” Emily exclaimed, pointing at him
“What?”
“Did you just smile?” she asked which made Cassano frown
“But, you look more handsome when you smile” she suddenly blurted, causing Cassano to stare at her
**She’s pretty** he murmur inwardly
“So, I should continue smiling then” he said and Emily nod
“Been long someone said something nice like this to me” Cassano sigh
“Then, should I keep on saying it?” Emily asked, pouting
“Füçk, you should stop that right now” Cassano said, moving away from her, causing Emily to laugh out loud
“What?” she asked
“Actually I’m sorry” Cassano said, looking away
“For what?”
“I’m sorry for treating you badly can’t you get it. I h@të my self for every single thing I did to you… I.. I just h@të myself for that” Cassano snapped
Emily stare at the man beside her. One minute he is happy and the second minute… Aggressive and sad
She moved closer to him, hugging him tightly
“I’m sorry to Cassano. I’m sorry for thinking that you were a monster. I’m sorry for despising you, I’m sorry for not noticing the good side in you” Emily said, still hugging him
“Y.. You forgive me?” Cassano questioned and Emily nod
He sank his head inside her brown hair, inhaling the sweet scent
It was enough to drive him crazy and make him go nut
He suddenly moved away from her
“Please, I don’t want to do something crazy again. I might not forgive myself” he said, staring at her
Instead, Emily walked to him, grabbing his hand
“There’s nothing to regret, boss. You should do what you have in mind instead” Emily said, staring at him
Before Cassano could predict what she meant, he felt her lip on his
