Lord Smith had a blank look on his face as he
watch Ethan struggled for air. He saw the blood
dripping out from him as he laid with his chest
facing the ground and finally the boy stopped
moving.
“Clear the body” Lord Smith ordered and turn to
walk away, Annabelle followed.
Getting to the office, Lord Smith sat on his
chair.
“Why did we kill him?” Annabelle asked lightly.
In secret, she clinched her fist tight.
“Well, he is an obstruction, he is doing this
because of his father. I’m proud of you Doll” He
said.
“Can I call you Father?” The girl asked all of a
sudden and Lord Smith for a moment fell into a
trance before looking up to her.
“Why did you say so?” The man asked having
some emotion swirling inside him.
“You said you saved me from those monsters
who killed my parents. You bought me in and
made me strong whilst treating me like your
daughter..” she began to walk towards him.
“I want to call you Father, sir.. would that be
possible?” She asked and stopped when she
was close enough.
“Hm, Doll. You always seem to surprise me”
Lord Smithe lips stretched up the more. “fine
you can call me Father” Lord Smith.
Annabelle bow her head a little. “Thank you
father” she then leave.
“I need to take care of something, I’ll be right
back. Watch the clan” Lord Smith said and left
with his assistant.

“It’s alright Jennifer” Selene assured the girl
resting her head on her shoulder. Jennifer’s dad
is sleeping already since it’s a bit late.
“No it’s not” Jennifer replied in a hoarse voice. “I
was selfish. I didn’t even think of what might
happen to Annabelle if I had snitched. I just
wanted everything to return back to the way it
was”
“It’s not your fault Jennie. I would have done the
same” Selene muttered and Jennifer looked up
at her. “If I were in your shoes, I would have
done anything to protect my love ones, even if it
hurts them” She repeated and Jennifer finally let
out a smile.
“Thanks” Jennifer muttered.
Down the room, the door entrance opened and
Peter walked in with a black jacket and a black
trouser.
Liam stood up from his seat, his face worried.
“I’ve been trying to reach Ethan but nothing. Do
you know where he might be?” He asked
immediately.
“Lord Smith took him” Peter replied.
“Wait what?! Is he alright? You haven’t heard
from him?” Liam panicked.
“He’ll be fine if he did what I asked him to” Peter
replied calmly.
“I still don’t feel good about this.. what if your
prediction turns out to be wrong?” Liam asked.
“I’ve studied Lord Smith for years so I can
roughly guess his next move. The only way this
could end up badly is if Ethan does what I said
perfectly” Peter said. “Where are the others? We
gat somethings to do”

Ricky finally got to open his eyes after a long
hour of sleeping. He shook his head a little and
opened his eyes.
He frowned noticing he was in a torture room.
The memories of what happened before he
pass out came in.. the lady, who was she?
Come to think of it, he had never seen her before
in the clan. He only found her appeasing and
decides to Fuçk her.
“Oh, the Fuçker is awake” a voice sounded
beside him and his head snapped towards the
direction. It was the lady he Fuçked.
Daisy has a lolipop in her mouth as she sat with
her leg on top each other.
“Who the Fuçk are you?” Ricky frowned hard.
“A Bîtch you Fuçked, and the same Bîtch bought
you here and tied you up like a nobody” Daisy
replied curtly.
“I’m gonna kill you and tear your pu$$y apart”
Ricky spat.
“You couldn’t even statisfy me. Are you even a
man at all?” Daisy asked and Ricky felt like
exploding.
“Who are you working for?” Ricky asked.
Before Daisy could give him another rude reply,
the door open and a girl stepped into the torture
room with some other men.
Ricky eyes widened, somehow he knew his
instinct was right about this girl.
Annabelle!
Walking further, Annabelle stopped before him
and tilted her head one side.
“Hello @$$hOle” she greeted with a blank look.
“You didn’t lose your memories” Ricky stated.
“Yeah, that right” Annabelle smirked.

*FLASHBACK*
Back when Annabelle was given the shot.
“Mission accomplished” The leader of the
surgeon said. “Clear the equipment” he said and
walked out of the ward.
Three hours later, the door opened again a
figure stepped in, it was a woman among the
surgeon. She walked to stand beside Annabelle.
“Annabelle.. Annabelle wake up” She shook the
girl lightly and Annabelle frowned before
opening her eyes slowly and found the woman
staring down at her.
The woman removed her nose mask.. Maria..
“it’s me okay? Sorry it had to go that way”
Annabelle sighed in relief. Her memories was
still intact and didn’t feel strange.
When Maria heard about Lord Smith planning to
wipe Annabelle’s memories, Maria told her son
Peter about it. Peter knowingingly sent the three
friends off knowing fully well that one of them
would betray.. he had his suspicious right..
Jennifer.. he saw the way she stared at Ethan
every moment and immediately knew she is in
love with Ethan.
When they were found, Peter made it look like
they are afraid and gave Annabelle out to Lord
Smith’s men without making them suspicious.
After explaining everything to Annabelle. Maria
said. “You need to pretend you’ve lost your
memories, the only way to win against your
enemies is to be closer to them”
Annabelle eyes teared up. She was so scared
she has to lose everything all over again,
especially Ethan.
“Why are you helping me?” She asked knowing
more to there’s more to it.
“Well.. your mother and I are partners in crime
fighting” Maria replied and Annabelle eyes
widened.
“You know my mother?” Annabelle made to sit
up but Maria held her back down.
“Stay still and yeah.. I know your mother. She
was a detective and I was her partner. She is the
best in our team. Smart and efficient with
everything. I loved her so much. She was
working on Lord Smith’s case and swore to find
that man and end him since he was killing a lot
of people. Sadly, she met her end because of it. I
was devastated when I heard the news about
how you were taken and how your sister and
father struggled with their life…
“So I decided to avenge her death. I made a
surgery on my face and changed my identity in
order to get into the clan. I thought it would be
easy but it wasn’t, I had to let my son know
about my plans and he promised to help out. He
surprisingly grew his own army, not strong
enough but effective. Most of them deals with
computers. I on the other hand tried my best to
win the hearts of many mobsters here as a
cook, though they dislike you but I do appease
them that this was all Lord Smith’s fault. One
day Peter asked.. ‘Is that girl worth saving?’ and
I said yes. I’ve watch you everyday and the fact
that you don’t remember my friend hurts me the
most…
“Peter saw how you related with Ethan and
knew that guy was going to change you. So I
tested you that night you found me making a
call, which was actually fake..
Annabelle remembered that day, she avenged
Scar’s death on Bianca.
“It was on purpose, I told the other mobsters
about it and their view about you slowly
changed and they promised to help no matter
what.. the day you finally got your memories, I
wished I knew first and was able to stop you
from facing that devil like that. I’m glad I’m able
to finally help, I’m sure my friend would be so
proud to have a daughter like you” Maria smiled
with a teary eyes and caressed Annabelle’s
cheek.
Annabelle sobbed for a while before speaking
again. “Thank you so much”
“This war is going to be hard so please hang on,
no matter what. I just want you to promise you’ll
kill that bastard that ruined so many families”
Maria said.
“I promise” Annabelle nodded with
determination burning in her gaze.
“One more thing before I leave.. Lord Smith do
have a daughter and here is the story”
Annabelle nodded and heard everything.
After their discussion, Maria left and Annabelle
pretend to be asleep again. The doctor came in
and she acted she had lose her memories. She
became her old self.
When they visited the school, she badly wanted
to run and hug Ethan tell him she was fine but
she couldn’t, because that would ruin the plan.
The worst part of it was the fact that Lord Smith
killed Ethan’s father too.
That added more fuel to her hatred.
The only part she almost failed herself was
when Jennifer called her real name. ISADORA.
She didn’t know how to feel about it, but she is
going to tell Peter.
Peter has a way to communicate with her since
Lord Smith can’t keep his eyes on her the whole
time.
He told her, Lord Smith will come for Ethan and
told her to shoot Ethan on the chest twice
without making him get suspicious. Though,
that was the hardest part of her life but she had
no choice but to trust Peter’s plan…

Ricky laugh rented the place as he shook his
head. This is quite interesting.
“You think you can go against my brother.
That’s the most stupid decision you’ll ever
make… ahhhh!!!” Ricky screamed out his lung
when Annabelle shot his right leg. Blood drip
out from it.
“Fuçk!!” He screamed again.
“That’s for Scar” Annabelle said lowly. She
continued. “I wanna ask you some questions”
“You won’t get anything from me” Ricky glared
still trying to endure the pain on his leg.
“Oh really?” Annabelle raised her head high with
a smirk gracing on her lips.
“You can’t kill me. You’ll be Fuçked if you do”
Ricky chuckled.
“Yeah.. I know I can’t kill you..” Annabelle
stopped and went to grab a dagger hanged on
the wall. “But that doesn’t mean I can’t torture
you, and I’m going to enjoy doing that”
Lord Smith wasn’t around so she have the time
for it.
Ricky eyes widened..

In a room, a bag was opened revealing Ethan’s
face and body.
“You can open up your eyes now” Came from a
woman staring down at him.
Ethan opened one eye at first and his eyes met
with the middle aged woman.
“Are you Maria?” Ethan asked in low weak voice.
“Yeah, it’s me” Maria replied.
“Am I dead?” Ethan asked and the woman rolled
her eyes.
“No son, you’re alive. Do you feel pain
anywhere?” Maria asked.
“Yes, my chest” he replied.
Maria looked down to his cloth. “That’s a lot of
ketchup” she stated before helping to remove
his hoodie.
“I had to make it look real” He remove his singlet
revealing the bullet proof. “I’ve never been so
scared in my life. I thought I was really going to
die. She shot without hesitation”
“You know any mistake from you or her could
have lead to your real death” Maria said.
“Yeah, but I couldn’t shake of the scene.. ahh”
he winced when the woman pressed the small
bruise on his chest resulted from the shooting.
“I never thought you would pull this off but I
must say. You are really brave” Mrs Maria said.
“Thanks” He smiled and watch her apply some
ointment in the two small bruises on his chest.
“When is she coming?” He asked.
“Annabelle?.. once she get the chance to, she’ll
come you check out” Maria replied.

Annabelle changed to a new cloth.
“Ethan is awake, he’s with Maria” Daisy said to
Annabelle and her eyes widened.
Annabelle ran towards the hall. Worries was
written all over her face as her long black hair
blows behind her.
Getting to a room she stormed in and spot a
figure sitting on a bench. Her heart skips a beat
and her eyes teared up.
“Ethan” she muttered.
Ethan who looked up to her lips parted. “Belle?”
He muttered and the girl ran towards him to give
him a big hug.
“I’m so sorry, I had to hurt you. I didn’t have a
choice I’m so sorry Ethan.. please forgive me,
I’m so sorry..” she sobbed against the crook of
his neck.
Maria smiled at the both of them. “I’ll leave you
guys for a while” she said and left.
Ethan raised his hand to pat the back of the girl
who was still sobbing.
“I’m fine Belle” Ethan spoke.
“No, I’m sorry.. I swear I never meant to hurt you.
.”
“Peter told me the plan already so I had the
bulletproof with me.. I’m fine Belle” Ethan said
but the girl kept on sobbing.
“I’m sorry I shot the gun at you” she said
hugging him tighter.
“You didn’t have a choice. At least it’s better to
be shot by you than him”
Finally, Annabelle broke the hug and stare at
him, her face wet with tears.
“This would be the first time I’ll see tears on
your face.. and I don’t like it” Ethan said wiping
the tears off her face using his thumb.
“Did I scare you? Are you upset with me?” She
asked, her eyes worried.
“You were so good with acting, I almost fell for
the fact that you forgot about me. I was scared,
I won’t lie but I’m not upset with you” Ethan
replied still caressing her cheek.
“Are you sure?” She asked, cutely which made
him smiled.
“Yes, girlfriend. I’m not upset, how do you want
me to prove it” Ethan asked. He could feel his
heart swell with the fact they are together.
Annabelle Finally smiled. “Then kiss me”
Ethan didn’t waste any moment to pull her close
and slammed his lips hard on hers.
