{ SNOWY’S TALENT }
“Why are you laughing?” Snowy asked, blinking
cutely whilst pouting and Starr wiped the tears
in his eyes as he tried to stop himself from
laughing.
“Tell me that isn’t your voice?” He asked lowly
and she frowned.
“Why?”
“Nothing.” He said and continued driving. Snowy
immediately turned off the music and sat back.
She didn’t sing nor exchanged words till they
got to her house.
Not like she was angry, but she was
embarrassed. She knew very well she had a
horrible voice, she needed no one to tell but, why
would he laughed? 😡
Even tho she was happy she was able to make
he laughed, did he have to do it like that?
Ugh! Wh@tëver.
The car stopped in front of Snowy’s house and
Starr smiled looking at the house and back at
her. Smiling has become an easy task whenever
he was around her that he found himself doing
it unconsciously.
“Thank you so much Starr. It was a wonderful
ride.” Snowy said before getting down, then she
turned around and walked to his side.
She placed a knock on his window and Starr
wound down the glass.
She brought out the neatly folded paper in star
shape and handed it over to him.
“Here. A little thank you for dropping me off.
Bye!” She waved before running in and Starr
smiled warmly before unfolding the paper
carefully.
*Hey Starr, no matter what you’re going through
always know that someone is rooting for you
here. Go Starr! 💪 Snowy.*
Starr looked at her house and smiled. “Snowy.”
He whispered.

<SNOWY’S ROOM>
Snowy just finished doing her assignment, she
walked to her bed tiredly and laid on it.
Suddenly her phone dinged and she grabbed the
phone with weary eyes.
It was a WhatsApp message from Rayne, “Hey
Snowy, it’s Rayne. I added you to group chat
and I also posted you in the school’s blog,
you’re really getting attention. Boys are asking
for you number, just a yes from you and I’ll
swoop into action. 😉”
“Seriously?” Snowy said, before leaving
WhatsApp and opening her Instagram.
“How does this works?” She wondered, as she
scroll through it, with videos popping up.
“Wow!” She exclaimed in wonder.
“Wow!” She kept exclaiming as she checked out
all the social media apps that Rayne installed
on her phone, and her favourite became TikTok,
she remained on the app, watching videos.
A message from Rayne suddenly popped in and
she removed it immediately and continued with
her TikTok, she had already gotten addicted to
it.
Her mind suddenly went somewhere.
“Does Starr know of this?” She wondered, if she
was enjoying this, he should also be able to
enjoy it, isn’t it?
Thought Snowy.

<FRIDAY ** CUPID HIGH SCHOOL>
“Snowy!”
Snowy who had her ears blocked with her
earpiece didn’t hear her names which was been
called continuously behind her.
“Snowy!” Rayne shouted, pulling Snowy’s arm
and that brought her to earth.
“Hey Rayne, are you just coming?” Snowy asked,
taking off one of the earpiece.
“Does that matter? I’ve been calling you…”
“I’m sorry about that Rayne, listen to this music.
Oh my gawd! It’s awesome!” Snowy said,
wearing the earpiece on Rayne and Rayne
gasped immediately taking it off.
“Omg Snowy! Do you plan on destroying your
eardrum?” Rayne asked.
“C’mon.”
“Anyways, are you prepared for the test?” Rayne
asked as the continued walking to the class.
Snowy raised a brow.
“What test?” Snowy asked.
“Don’t tell you don’t know?”
“Of course I don’t.”
“Seriously?!”
“Listen here Snowy, we do write test every
Friday.” Rayne explained and Snowy gasped.
“But no one told me!” She whined as if she
would cry any minute.
“I thought you knew baby. The first periods
before break are you used to write test, and the
periods after break are you used for
extracurricular activities. Right now, we’re
having chemistry test.” Rayne said and Snowy
shook her head.
“Nooo!!!” Snowy screamed, running into the
classroom.
Rayne followed her behind.

Snowy walked out of the classroom with Rayne
and Aubrey, her face looking gloomy.
“C’mon Snowy, smile at least.” Rayne cooed but
Snowy frowned instead.
“I can’t believe my first test in this school is
gonna be a Fuçk up! I messed up.” Snowy said
and Aubrey scoffed.
“As if.” She said as she pressed her phone.
Someone suddenly blocked their path and they
looked up. Rayne and Aubrey frowned on seeing
him.
Snowy simply rolled her eye.
“Time pay up your debt feisty doll.” Pierce said
with a naughty grin.
“I promised yesterday not today, you didn’t
show up yesterday.” She said.
“Does it matter? I want it now.” He said before
holding her hand.
“Let me–” He had already dragged her off before
she could complete what she was saying.

<CAFETERIA>
“C’mon, just tell if you don’t want me to eat
rather than glaring. You’re giving me chills.”
Pierce said and Snowy puffed out air, dropping
the fork she was holding.
“I wish I could do more than glaring. Maybe,
digging this fork into your neck you nuisance!”
She growled and Pierce chuckled.
“Sadly you can’t.”
“I know.” Snowy muttered and continued eating,
Pierce chuckled.
“Sorry.” He said and she rolled her eyes. She
suddenly looked up as if remembering
something.
“You know something about Starr right?” She
suddenly asked and Pierce choked on the sauce
he was eating.
“Why would you bring up his name at such
time?” He said with and eye roll as he gulped
down the water.
“I know you two don’t get along, but at the same
time, it seems as if you know him more than
everyone else.” She said and he scoffed.
“Why would I know that weirdo?” He asked and
Snowy pressed her lips.
“C’mon, tell me. I promise to be friends with you
if you tell me.” She said with a pout and Pierce
raised his brow.
“I never said I wanted a friend.” He said and she
grinned.
“I have a sort of talent, a mind reading talent.”
She said, the grin not leaving her face.
Pierce looked at her and a short chuckle left his
lips.
“Pleaseee.” She pouted with a puppy face that
Pierce couldn’t resist and he sighed out.
“I can’t believe I came here to discuss Starr
Myles.” He groaned and Snowy grinned.
“So that’s a yes?” She asked.
“As if it was an option.” He said and Snowy held
his hands excitedly.
“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She
exclaimed in excitement and Pierce stared at
her.
It was as if time stopped for a while, and she
was the only one he could see.
He kept staring at her, as she shook her head in
excitement, it look enchanting to him. Her wide
innocent smile and the cheerfulness in it, then
her hands on his.
“Pierce!” Someone kept calling on his names,
but he had gone deaf.
“Pierce!” Brielle banged her hand on the table
and he jolted.
She was actually the one calling all this while. It
turns out that he had been staring for almost
30minutes that he didn’t realize when Snowy
left and Brielle came in.
“When did you get here?” He asked as he
continued eating.
“Are you seriously asking that?” Brielle scoffed
and Pierce dropped the food, standing up.
“Let’s talk school closing Brielle, I have
something to tell you.” He said and walked out
of the cafeteria.
‘What the hell was that, Pierce?!’ He scolded
himself inwardly as he walked.

Their break had come to an end and it was time
for the extracurricular activities in Cupid High,
students could be seen around as they fixed
themselves into their respective clubs.
“C’mon, choose already what you’re gonna do
Snowy.” Rayne said, her voice showed how tired
she was already.
Aubrey had already left them. She joined the
singing club as that’s where her talent fell, but
Rayne has been stuck with Aubrey who can’t
just decide one group to join.
“Please help me think of something Rayne. I
promise, my next life I’m gonna come with a
talent. Please.” She said and Rayne breathed.
“You said, you can’t paint, you can’t sing, you
can’t dance, you can’t run, you can do any sport,
you can’t recreate, you can’t swim, where the
heck do you me to fix you?” Rayne asked and
she shook her head.
“Actually, I never said I can’t do all this… I’m just
not an expert. I can’t actually sing but currently
I’m having a sore throat.” Snowy said, beating
her chest.
“Then, I have colour blindness, I can’t tell
colours apart so I can’t join the painting club.
Then my legs, ahh!” Snowy squealed as Rayne
pulled her along.
“Whether you like it or not, you’re joining me in
the dancing club.” Rayne said and Snowy shook
her head.
“Listen Rayne, I hurt my spinal cord when
practicing a new dance moves, let’s try
something else. Why don’t we watch basketball
instead.” Snowy said as Rayne dragged her
along.
They got to dance class and everyone turned to
them as they walked in.
“And why’s she here?” Brittany asked with a
scoff, referring to Snowy.
“I don’t get. Is there any rule that says she can’t
be here?” Rayne snapped.
“When don’t need her here.” Brielle butted in.
“The door is opened, no one is holding you here.
” Rayne scoffed before walking to Miss Aya,
their dance teacher.
“Ma’am, here’s my friend. She’s a very good
dancer and she likes to join us.” Rayne said and
miss Aya nodded before taking a look at Snowy.

<BASKETBALL COURT>
Starr was in the locker room, changing into his
jersey and shorts when Pierce walked in with
Brett.
“If it’s not Starr Myles, who could it be?” Pierce
asked with clear sarcasm as he walked towards
Starr and he pushed his shoulder, turning Starr
to him.
Starr exhaled heavily as he continued wrapping
the pad on his hand.
Brett just stood back watching the two. He knew
better not to interfere. He knew Pierce to be the
one always stepping on Starr’s toes, but Starr
was very good at resisting temptations like
Pierce.
“Yunno sometimes, I just can’t help but feel
you’re dumb. We’re meet at the court, I wanna
see you try to beat me.” He said and Starr
scoffed.
“Don’t you think it should be the other way
round?” He whispered as he made to walk
passed him, Pierce’s eyes darkened and before
he could reply, Starr already walked away.
Just what he like, being the last person to speak
and shut him up.
“Starr!” Their basketball master called and Starr
turned immediately.
“Sir?” He walked to him.
“I think I swap phones with Miss Aya, help me
give this to her get mine.” He said and Starr
nodded, collecting the phone.

<DANCING CLUB>
Snowy smiled as she watched the girl twerking,
to the music playing, other students clapped as
she danced perfectly.
Dancing isn’t even as hard as thought.
Next it was her turn and Rayne gave her the go
ahead. She smiled before walking in front of
everyone.
The music began playing again and Snowy
immediately took off her shoe, then she walked
back to the designated area.
While everyone stared eagerly, Brittany and
Brielle hissed uninterestedly. Baby wasn’t in the
dancing club with them. She paints.
Snowy opened her legs, just like the other girl
did and everyone raised their brows.
‘Okay, from what angle is she coming?’ ran
through everyone’s mind.
Then she placed her both hands on her knees,
for support, slowly she bent slightly and then
the spirit came in. She began dancing to the
music, twerking just like the other students did.
Everyone stared in astonishment.
👥 What’s she doing?
Rayne immediately covered her mouth in
embarrassment. “What the heck!”
Snowy actually thought she was doing it well
and when she heard the gasps from the
students, her morale was boosten and she
increased pressure.
Instead of her @$$ moving, her back was what
was shaking vigorously as if she was gonna
break anytime soon.
Just then, the door opened and Starr walked in
but he stopped before he could take any more
step further as his mouth flung open in awe.
WHAT THE F*CK WAS SHE DOING!
Snowy stopped back-breaking and faced the
students, she flipped her hair fiercely and began
dancing again but it was as if she was fighting
kungfu. Stretching her arms and legs as if to
attack the opponents.
The students who couldn’t contain their
laughter were already taking a video of her.
Brittany and Brielle laughed mockingly as they
watched. Rayne immediately rushed to Snowy
and began dragging her out of the stage.
“Wait, Rayne I’m not done yet.” Snowy said as
Rayne dragged her out of the class but they
paused when they saw Starr at the door.
“Starr, you’re here?” Snowy said with a smile and
Starr nodded.
“You did great.” He said, patting her hair, then he
walked into the class.
“Sarcasm! You just disgraced yourself in front
of him.” Rayne said to her and Snowy’s eyes
widened.
“What?!”
