<INKY’S CAFE>
Fabian and Felix heard a familiar voice making their both eyes widened. The light came on too and their gaze landed on him; their worst nightmare.
“What… How….” Fabian tried saying but his mouth was too heavy to speak.
“How did I get here? I passed through the door of course, when did I get here? A moment ago. What am I doing here? I should be asking you that” Finn said jumping down from the chair he was sitting on. He removed the cigarette from his lips and stepped on it before turning back to the two who were already shaking.
” You know…. I actually expected this from you and my guess was not wrong. You’ve always been this way and..
“Jade has been arrested” Fabian blurted out
” And?”
” And what if she confesses and we are implicated in wh@tëver Sh|tty confession that she makes and we are sent for by the cops? That is the end of it all….. I have to leave Daham city, Korea as a whole until things settles down, don’t expect me back. I’ll need some money for my trip and….
“And you thought of taking from the slush fund” Finn completed his sentence
” Forgive me… I won’t do that again, just let go this once” Fabian begged
” The fact that….
Before Finn could finish what he was about saying, Fabian took his heels running as fast as his both legs could carry him. Finn was quick to grab his gun and being talented, with just one bullet on his leg, Fabian down immediately groaning in pains.
Felix swallowed into nothing watching the whole scene, his legs were shaking, his woke body was trembling. Beads of sweat gathered on his forehead and he was feeling very hot.
“Bundle him, we are taking him to the clan” Finn commanded Wasp and he set to do as he was told immediately. He grabbed Felix by his hand and he led him out. He kicked Fabian before walking away finally.
” Help me” Fabian begged weakly stretching his hand out as Finn passed by. Blood was oozing out from the spot he was shot. Finn squatted in front of him
“You should rest in peace” He said with a smile.

<WILLOW’S APARTMENT>
“I was desperately in need of a child, I was ready to do all it takes to have one. I lost my husband just a year after we got married, there was no hope of getting married again or having a child. The orphanages I went to adopt a child…. All prove but abortive. Then, I came across Jade in her hospital when I went for a clinical test. She told me about the selling house and I couldn’t help it. And then… When I saw you lying helplessly at the selling house, you were to cute to ignore, I had to pay for you. I knew what I was doing was wrong and illegal but I couldn’t help it” Valerie narrated, she was sniffing all through as she spoke.
Thelma took a deep breathe clasping her hand together
“I took you in as my own child… Wh@tëver your past was or who you were, I didn’t care and I still don’t care. I took you in as my own daughter, I even named you as you had no name…..
Valerie paused for a while and she bursted into tears. Thelma moved closer to her patting her soothingly and in a comforting manner.
“I appreciate all that you’ve done, you will always be my mom regardless of the circvmstance” Thelma said

<PROSECUTION OFFICE•NEXT DAY>
Thelma suddenly banged her fist on the table shocking her assistant who was working on her computer. She stood up immediately
“Get all the necessary things needed, I’ll question Jade” Thelma said
” What? But the case isn’t yours to deal with, you have a lot in your hand and adding her case to…
“Get Jade Rowell ready for questioning” Thelma cuts her off and meant to leave the office but she stopped, she went to her assistant table and leaned forward, placing her mouth in her ear
“And get very dirty thing on Festus; find out about his shady deals, his illegal dealings, very dark side of him, I’ll need it too” She said in a whisper
” Huh?”
” Quietly get that done” She added before leaving the office finally

<FESTUS OFFICE>
A smile appeared on Festus face as Thelma came in
” How are the cases you are handling? Hope you are doing great?” He spoke first
” Sure”
” I came here to request for your permission to interrogate Jade Rowell” Thelma said staring straight into Festus eyes. Festus chuckled lightly reclining fully on his chair.
” And why should I do that?”
“Because I am the best person for the job, I know exactly what to do” Thelma replied
” And what are you supposed to do?” Festus pressed on further wanting to be sure
“Deal with the case in a way that pleases the superior” Thelma responded and that got Festus nodding his head looking pleased.
“Fine… You take over and do what you are supposed to do” He uttered.

Jade was led in by one of the cops and she was made to sit down right in front of Thelma. She smiled on seeing Thelma and winked at her. Her lawyer was also on seat.
” Are you here to get me out of these?” She inquired showing off her cuffed anklets. Thelma nudged on the camera without saying a word.
” I’ll begin with the questioning of Jade Rowell who is a suspect of illegal organ harvesting” Thelma began.

<DAHAM CATHEDRAL>
Father Micheal walked deeper into the cathedral, he was just coming from the diocese’s office. As usual, he had been strictly warned not to bring any form of name and shame to the cathedral. His video and his entire action at the press conference had been sent to the archdiocese’s office.
“Miss” He called and that made Cindy look up swiftly
“Father” Cindy called with a gasp, she bowed lightly
“Thelma’s friend?”
“Yes Father….. I came to have a silent time with the Almighty” She replied
“May He listens to all of your heart desires and hear your prayers” Father Micheal prayed and Cindy responded by doing the cross sign.
“I’ll take my leave now” She said with a smile. Just as she turned to get her coat, the birthmark on her left shoulder came into view. Father Micheal’s eyes widened and he grabbed her by her arm roughly making her wince. He continued staring at the mark for a while ignoring her inquisitive gaze.
“Father….
” This mark…. When did you get it? How long has it been? Do you have the same back on your back too? Let me see, I need to check something out” He rushed her with questions. He turned her back to face him roughly
” What the Füçk is he doing?” She wondered
” I want to see your back” He requested more like a demand.
” What!!?”
” I need to check something out, do you have like this….
Father Micheal paused on his word as he fumbled with his buttons.
“Could he be a pervert?” She thought within

Thelma furrowed her brows as she stopped right on her track, the atmosphere at that moment was tense. The continuous flickering of the lights in the alley suddenly made the alley bizzare. The lights kept going on and off.
She swallowed into nothing as she heard approaching footsteps. Turning back with a swift, she was no one and that made her suspicions grew. She held her bag tightly and started walking faster than before
The footsteps came again and this time louder and that made her result to running, she was more like walking and then running and the person did the same. It was now clear that she was being followed.
She turned back swiftly and her gaze landed on a man dressed in all black like an assassin. From the top of his head to his toe was covered; his eyes were the only part of his body showing.
“What .. what do you want from me?” She inquired in shaky voice moving backwards. He didn’t bother to reply her, he just moved closer and closer while she took steps backwards.
She soon resumed running but fate was not on her side as he soon caught up with her since he was a fast runner. He grabbed her by her neck from behind.
Thelma tried resisting but he was way stronger, he was pressing her neck really hard choking her. He brought out a sedated handkerchief and pressed it on her nose. Slowly, she drifted into slumber, all she could see at the point was darkness.
He threw her up on his shoulder and took her away
