{A SAD EXPLOSION}
Cleo held her stinging cheek and looked back at Keith with shock evidently written on her face.
Before the heat on her face died down, she returned the slap and Keith staggered back, almost falling.
Cleo slapped her again,an again, and again. Keith kept staggering back, almost losing her sight as she saw stars flying around.
” You Bîtch! How dare you!” Cleo shouted, about to slap Keith again.
Mario held her from behind before she could do it, and she looked at him.
He slapped Keith himself, and Keith finally collapsed on the ground. Her face was beginning to swell and looked red-hot.
” I told you to get the Füçk out of my way if you still want to leave. Guess you chose the other way round, and even decided to slap my girlfriend? Hell naw.” He said sternly.
” But… I love you Mario. I still do. She isn’t your girlfriend, I am. Please Mario, accept me back.” She begged, going on her knees with clasped hands.
Mario laughed mockingly, so hard that he almost fell. His countenance changed back to a mean one.
” Leave.” He muttered. The impatience in his voice was evident because of how he said it.
” But… Mario…”
” He/ I said leave!” Cleo and Mario said together, and Keith scurried up to her feet before running back out.
She even fell at a moment and injured herself on the knees, but quickly got back up and continued running off.
Mario palmed his face in frustration and sighed out hotly, then Cleo hugged him to ease him.
Everyone was completely distracted from Janet, which gave her the opportunity to start escaping.
She looked at the ground and her eyes glowed red. Lasers came out of them and hit the ground, then she began drawing a circle around herself.
She was done cutting the ground open. It fell down, and she dangled over it while hanging from the metal cup. She lasered the cup too and became free, falling quietly into the hole.
Rocky sensed that something was amiss and quickly looked into Janet’s cell, seeing that she was gone with the hole in the ground.
His eyes widened.
” Janet!” He shouted, and the others turned to him.
Mr. Salvador saw the empty cell too and panicked.
” All of you, go search for that Terminator right now. She has escaped from the cell. Find her at all costs!” He ordered, and the soldiers went out in troops.
” Father, please. Don’t let them harm her in any way, no matter what.” Rocky begged.
” I promise. She’ll… Be okay.” He replied hesitantly and gulped.
Outside the MILITARY PRISON, Janet was crawling away with one arm on the road. The soldiers were yet to detect her location, so she had all the time in the world to escape.
She stopped for a while and sat, then she gave out that cunning smile once more. There was a deep mysterious meaning behind that smile.
Her eyes closed for a while, and by the time she opened them, a timer was showing in them with 2 minute displaying.
Her smile grew wider, making her broken face look creepier. Tears flowed down her eyes as she smiled, and she started the timer.
1 minute, 59 seconds left.
The timer was a self- destruct timer. She couldn’t bear having to keep killing humans like fowls. It’s not giving her a healthy conscience. She has to end it all by destroying herself.
1 minute , 39 seconds left on the timer, and the gang finally came out of the prison and found her sitting on the ground. They all rushed to her at full speed, but Rocky was the fastest.
He got to her first and sat beside her fast, holding her face worriedly without minding the consequence. He saw the timer, and his pupils trembled confusedly.
” Janet… What are you doing yourself? What is this?” He asked worriedly.
” It’s a self-destruct timer.” Janet explained, and his eyes widened.
The others finally arrived, surrounding the couple in the middle of the road.
Rocky began breathing loudly, feeling his heart beat faster than the speed of light. Janet was giving him a panic attack.
” No… No. Janet, please tell me you’re lying. Please tell me this is a joke. Füçk you’re scaring the hell outta me, Janet stop the timer! Don’t do this to yourself!” He begged desperately, and she blinked to return to her normal bright blue eyes.
” Less than a minute left.” She revealed, and Rocky went quiet.
He bursted into tears and hugged her tight, not wanting to let go anytime soon. Janet hugged him with her one arm, and she cried on his shoulder too.
” I’m so sorry Rocky. I’m so sorry.” She apologized sincerely.
” What’s going on here? Is something bad about to happen?” Cleo asked, panicking as well, and Rocky broke the hug.
” Janet started a self-destruct timer, and she has less than a minute left.” He said without looking at her.
All of them shifted away immediately with fear, looking shocked.
” Janet, please stop the timer. You can’t do this to yourself. You can’t! Stop trying to hurt yourself everytime!” He shouted, shaking her face slightly.
He hugged her again, putting one of his palms at the back of her neck. He felt the red spider virus and raised his brows.
He bent over to her back to look at it more clearly. He saw the red spider glowing, and he gasped.
” Janet, what’s this behind your neck?” He asked.
” I don’t know. I can’t feel anything.” She said.
Not minding the consequences, he got the idea that the red spider was bad and began trying to pry it off with his whole energy. Even his strength wasn’t enough.
” I have to get this thing off you before something bad truly happens. I don’t care if I die because of you, but at least I died with you.” He said affectionately, and Janet’s tears increased.
He began trying to pull off the red spider once more, twice as harder than before. He pulled and pulled till he was out of breath, and the red spider began to come off bit by bit.
” Twenty seconds left.” Janet notified, and he pulled even harder.
” Rocky, get out of there! There’s nothing you can do to save her anymore! It’s too late!” Flash shouted from afar, but Rocky pretended to be deaf.
10 seconds passed, and he already detached half of the spider from her neck. He needed a bit more time to fully remove it.
” 10… 9…” Janet began to countdown, and he looked at her.
He hugged her tightly and closed his eyes, and she closed hers too.
” 8… 7… 6…”
” Oh no, Rocky!” Shady muttered, feeling bad for him already.
Mr. Salvador made to walk to them, but he got pulled back by his own soldiers and was forced to watch as his son would explode anytime soon.
” This can’t be truly happening. I’m dreaming, right?” He spoke.
” 5… 4… ” Janet counted down.
Rocky grabbed the remains of the red spider tightly, even getting himself wounded by its sharp edges.
He yelled and struggled to rip it off before the countdown ended, and blood poured out of his palms as the red spider tore off from her skin.
The countdown was almost done, and everyone was already shaking heads sadly or shedding tears quietly.
With a final grunt, he was able to rip the virus from her completely. He threw it far away and resumed to hug her, expecting to blow up.
Nothing happened, so he lifted his face and looked at her, only to find that the countdown froze at 1 second.
They did it.
” Janet!” He exclaimed, embracing her happily as he let out all of his emotions on her.
Janet still wasn’t speaking or moving, which made him curious to look at her again.
His happiness twisted for the opposite, and he looked shocked by what he saw.
The countdown didn’t freeze, it only resetted, and 2 minutes began to countdown again.
” No, no, no! He shouted and gripped his hair hotly.
Janet’s body dropped to the ground like she wasn’t in control of herself. He already got the virus out, but it has damaged her system beyond repair already.
” I’m gonna kill myself! Just let me die! Aaaaaarrrrgghh!” He roared greatly again.
Cleo squatted and cried her eyes out. Shady bit her lips and looked away, Mario watched and closed his eyes, and Flash looked blank.
” Janet, Janet wake up! Wake up and hear me out! Please!” He begged, lifting and shaking her body, but there was no response.
1 minute left…
His eyes turned pitiful with tears as he stared at her. He couldn’t bear her leaving him, not ever!
She is the only one that can make his heart beat faster than normal. Without her, he’d just be a useless man, so he was ready to die with her.
Though she didn’t have a soul, at least he wouldn’t be alive and lonely. He’d be dead, and that was better than brooding about her being gone.
He kissed her deeply, taking his time to taste her sweet virgin mouth one last time. He did that for a long time before carrying her in his arms and burying his face into her neck.
” I love you.” He said and closed his eyes.
5… 4… 3… 2… 1…
Boom! They blew up together and got engulfed in a large heap of flames. The explosion was so loud that some of them had to bow their heads for safety.
” Noooooooooooo!!!” Cleo shouted and collapsed, Rolling herself to death on the ground.
” Rocky! Janet! Noooooooooooo!!!” She screamed again, going insane on the ground.
Tears slipped out of Mario’s closed eyes. He squatted and began crying like a baby for real.
Shady palmed her face and looked away, unable to watch the fire. Flash’s blank face became wet with tears in the next seconds.
” My son… My wife… My family…” Mr. Salvador muttered on his spot, looking so empty and helpless.
There was nothing he could’ve done to save him anyways. He could’ve at least died with his son, but he lost that chamce already.
Maybe if he runs into the fire, he’d still have a chance of catching up with Rocky’s spirit somewhere.
” Hold on son! I’m coming to you!” He shouted madly and began to run, approaching the monstrous fire.
Soldiers immediately chased after him and struggled to catch him, but he was running faster than them.
He jumped and almost landed in the fire when he got caught by the soldiers, and they pulled him back immediately.
” Noooooooooooo! Let me go! I wanna meet my son! Let me die with him!” He shouted, but they continued to pull him away.
Dr. Mark and Beatrice were just arriving at the money for some reason. They saw most of them crying and the burning fire, then wondered what could’ve happened.
” What happened? Where’s Janet?” Dr. Mark inquired.
” She’s in that fire with Rocky. They’re de@d.” Cleo cried out, and Dr. Mark felt his blood dry up.
Beatrice’s eyes widened, and she slowly turned to stare at the fire in horror.
” Noooooooooooo!!!” She gripped her hair and fell to the ground.
” We lost them. We Füçkin’ lost them.” Cleo cried again.
