Her eyes flew open wide and she gasped hard…

Catching her breath. Alice eyes dart around the white room. She frowned and raised her hand up to her face. She was Alive and safe? What about the others?
She sprang up from the bed. Her eyes settled in her mother sleeping with her head on the bed. Alice removed the pipes from her hands immediately. She tried to stand but staggered a bit.
Grabbing her mom’s purse she stormed out of the ward. Sensing the rough movement, Mrs. Rowena woke up from her sleep. Her eyes flew wide open seeing Alice was no more on bed.
“Alice!” She gasped and stormed out too.
Alice made sure to avoid the doctors she met on her way. She got into the elevator and closed it Before a nurse could walk in.
Her breath was heavy as the thought of Ammon lingered in her head.
When the elevator opened, she rushed out the hospital ignoring some nurses calling after her.
Getting outside, she was overwhelmed with the place. She was used to Ammon she had almost forgotten her civilized world.
She waved her hand to a taxi which stopped before her.
“Take me to any bookstore” She said to the driver after entering the car.
“Alice?” Mrs. Rowena came out afterwards. “Why does she like running off?” She said in between her breath.

The huge book store was filled with few people. Alice walked in fast, darting around the place. She spot a middle aged woman who seems to be the owner and walked towards her.
“Hey” Alice greeted breathlessly. The woman took in her dress.
“Did you come from the psychiatrist hospital?” She raised a brow at Alice.
“Oh no! I just need a book. A history book” Alice said.
“There are many of them. Which one will you like to take”
Alice swallowed and then though for a while. What is she going to call it? If she save the kingdom then the story won’t be erased.
“K..ingdom Ammon” Alice replied. Her heart pounded hard against her chest as the woman stared at her quietly. Is the story not written?
“That’s my favorite History book. You could have read the history online instead of rushing your way here” The middle aged woman replied and Alice eyes widened.
“Kingdom of Ammon is real” Her eyes teared up.
“Yes dear. I have a book copy with me. I read the story all the time” The woman reached for the book in her drawer. She outstretch the book to Alice and she slowly receive it from her.
“It’s an history that teaches me never give up” The woman smiled.
A tear escaped from Alice’s eyes as she stared at the book having the word. ‘HISTORY OF AMMON’ boldly written on it. She slowly began to sob.
“Alice is my favorite. She is a true definition of a true warrior” The woman spoke.
Alice quickly opened the book in other to know what happened to the others. She could say her goodbye before leaving and it hurts her.

After Alice had died in the kingdom, her body was buried in a beautiful place filled with flowers. People went there to visit and appreciate her.
Saverina was the most hurt person among them and also the happiest. She knew Alice did the best thing she could think of.
The ministers of the kingdom seek to find the next king to the throne. After their deep research, it turned out to be Mirabel. The crown was on her head due to her strong mind. Though they waited for her to grow into a beautiful woman before crowning her.
This was the first time the kingdom would be ruled by a woman. She saw Alex again and their love bloomed as they married each other.
Galen became stronger than before. He soon became the chief of command. He fell in love with a beautiful woman and get married giving birth to a girl.
Derek the alpha and Pheadra his Luna ruled the pack. Phaedra was loved by many. Saverina became the queen of witches, though, she missed her friend so much. She also fell in love with a man who managed to steal her heart. She also had family.

“What a beautiful ending” Alice smiled brightly to herself. The woman smile at her expression.
“It might be a tragic ending for her and her husband but she saved the kingdom”
“I did it!” Alice exclaimed and the woman’s face dropped.
“I did it!!” Alice screamed again pushing her hands up to the air. “I Fuçking did it!! Yes!! I did it!!”
Alice suddenly felt her body weak and she slump to the floor. Her body haven’t recovered really well yet.
“Alice!” Mrs. Rowena walked in and rushed towards her.
“I did it mom” Alice said.
Mrs. Rowena fell into a trance. It’s been so long Alice called her mom.
The woman went to take the book from Alice. Judging from the way Alice had shouted. She gave her a strange look but Alice didn’t mind.
“I’m glad I’m your favourite” Alice grin while the woman only blinked.
“Okay, let’s go” Mrs. Rowena helped her up.
During the ride, Alice won’t stop smiling. She can’t believe she actually did it. It felt unreal.
“Should I call your friends over? They have been so worried about you” Mrs. Rowena said.
Right she almost forgot. Samantha and zero.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t spend my time the way I should with you. I’m deeply sorry Alice and I’ll definitely try to make things right with you” She said and Alice think for a while. She was not mad at her mother anymore… Instead she feel like a different person.
“That book with the woman. Help me get a copy of it” Alice said her mother nodded.

Sitting on her bed. Samantha and Zero rushed into the ward.
“Alice!!” Samantha lips parted wide as tears came out if her eyes. Alice’s lips parted, she almost mistaken them as Saverina and Galen. They both rushed to hug with tears streaming down their face.
“Hey guys I missed you so much” Alice eyes tears up too as she hugged them back.
“I knew you were going to make it. I was praying for you day and night” Samantha said. “This is all my fault you had to stay into coma for months”
“That was fate” Alice said.
Zero cleaned his tears and blinked severally.
“You sound different” Zero muttered and smiled. “I heard people who comes back from coma behaves differently. You’re an example..”
Samantha hit his shoulder when he said that.
“Argh! What was that for?” Zero snapped.
“You talk too much” Samantha rolled her eyes while Alice smiled.

After a week Alice was discharged. She sneaked out of her home just to take a look at the city she had missed.
On her way, she saw.. Helen’s afterlife. Her face lit up with joy. She was watering the garden, looking up she spot Alice staring at her.
Alice didn’t bother waiting and left.
She branched into a coffee shop, ordered a cup of espresso for herself and went to sit. Before her was a woman reading a news paper that covers her face.
Alice bought out her phone and wanted to find a name.. Zameil.. how is she going to find him.
“Your badass style looks better if you ask me” The woman before said. Alice raised her head and saw who it was.
“Horea?” Alice face was replaced with shock. Horea was dressed in a casual dress her hair brown, an eye glasses rested on the bridge of her nose.
“Hello Alice” she smiled.
“No Fuçking way. You’re here too? Why is your hair brown?”
“I dyed it. Humans here freaks out if they see a woman with complete white hair. The experience isn’t cool. They took so many pictures of me and made a page on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and even TikTok. They called me the white haired woman..”
“What? Others can see you. You’re a human now?” Alice asked.
“Yes. It was my punishment to become a Human for a hundred years. Being a human sucks here but I find it interesting. Beside, I missed being a human” Horea smiled.
“Everyone back in the past are here right?” Alice asked.
“No not everyone but most..”
“What about Zameil?” Alice quickly asked.
“I don’t know. This is a week being here. I’m still trying to get use to be like this. I don’t know how to find someone.. it would have been easier if I still have powers” Horea replied.
Alice couldn’t get Horea’s word off her mind. Not everyone. There are still few she had wished to see here especially.. Zameil.

“All I know is that he almost hit me with a car. I don’t know his name or anything about him” Alice said to her mother.
“That’s not a good description Alice” Mrs. Rowena replied.
Alice sighed knowing she was right.
“If the story change, does this mean he is not here?” Her eyes tears up as nervousness kicked in.
It’s been three years, Alice was now in college. There was still no sign of Zameil. This is probably the worst torture. She missed him so much she could feel herself going crazy everyday.
She knew.. Zameil is should be somewhere. She had met some others she had recognized in Ammon.
She saw Delphine as an old woman who h@tëd kids around. Her life seems lonely. Augustus was a street thug, lean and dirty to look at. Riya, who was Maxine, the girl who pushed her down the building was still on her punishment.

Alice came home all sulk up as usual. Mrs. Rowena noticed this.
“I have a business function tonight. Please come with me” Mrs. Rowena plead.
“I’m fine mom. I’m not in the mood to go anywhere” Alice sighed sadly. Her hair was now long and shinny. She decided to let it grow and it suits her.
“It’s a bright business function, You’re going love it. The Walton families will be there..”
“I’m not interested mom” Alice said. She stood and went to her room. Taking out her phone, she decided to watch some videos.
The picture of twins came up. She recognized them immediately. Mirabel and Macbeth. She sat up and went straight to their page. She saw their latest post..

Alice stormed out of her room. “Mom, I’m coming with you”
Mrs. Rowena who was already dressed looked up and smiled.
“Sure dear hurry up”

Leaving her hair to fall on both of her shoulders. Alice gave her reflection in last view. She was dressed in a lovely silver black gown that glitters. She had a light make up on and she look beautiful.
Seeing this twin might be a chance for her to see whom she was searching for..
The place atmosphere was filled with wealth and professional vibe. It’s a function that draws business men and women together.
Mrs. Rowena walked into the place with Alice. This would be the first time Alice will witness such a beautiful scene.. it somehow reminded her of the palace.
“Mrs Rowena” A man dressed in a rich suit called taking her attention.
Alice’s eyes scan around the crowd. There, she spot the twin stand beside an elegant woman, Eleanor.
Alice found herself walking towards them. The woman with the face of Eleanor gave her a look.
“You have such a wonderful twins” Alice spoke boldly like she belongs to the place.
“Thank you” she replied.
Alice gaze down at the girls staring at them.
“What’s your name, if I may ask” she said.
“I’m Lora” The one with Mirabel’s aura said.
“And I’m Laina” The one with Macbeth aura spoke.
“Such a nice name. Do not let anything come to destroy your sister love. You’re perfect in your own way and you should love each other no matter the circvmstances” Alice said.
The girl looked at each other and then back to Alice. Laina felt those words are meant for her and Alice just cleared out her mind. She smiled.
“Thanks” Laina said and Alice nodded.
“There you are” A man spoke behind, Alice. Mrs. Rowena walked with him. The man seems a bit familiar…
“This is Mr. Walton. He’s a good friend” Mrs. Rowena introduce.
“I never knew you had such a pretty daughter Rowena. What’s your name sweetie?” Mr. Walton asked.
“Alice, sir” She replied shaking hands with him.
“Nice name and good character. I hope you meet my son Tonight” The man said and turn to his assistant. “Get Richard for me”
While waiting, Alice tried to remember the man’s face as he kept asking questions about her school and business. Taking a sip out if her cup of wine, Alice sighed. Could he even be here?
Just then.. she heard the familiar voice..
“You called, father”
“Alice meet my son. Richard” Mr. Walton said.
Alice froze at her spot. The figure was behind her. Her heart was pounding heavily against her chest as slowly turn to face him…
Finally… Zamiel..
He moved his gaze to her looking dashingly handsome on his black retro suit. The world seems to stop around them as the both stared at each other.
The glass of wine slipped off Alice’s hand, and crashed onto the ground….
