“To what do I owe this sudden visit, Granny?” Prince asked, taking off his jacket.
“And you, Clement! What are you doing here?” He bent his brows.
His Grandma frowned.
“So, your family and friend can’t visit you”
Prince shook his head.
“That’s not what I mean. It just you both never called”
“Do I need to call you now before visiting my own son? Or are you hiding a girl?” She gushed, looking away.
Prince sighed and rolled his eyes. He walked closer to Clement and pulled him to the next room.
“Hey? Why are you here? I warned you never to enter my home when I’m not around”
“And why are you ate? I came to see you but met your grandma in. I was about to leave but she persuaded me to stay and wait till your arrival” He explained.
Prince sniffed him and frowned.
“Wait. What are you doing?” Clement asked.
“I should be the one rather asking you that. What are you doing? Why did you wash your hair with my shampoo? You are even using my towel” Prince bulged his eyes wide open, angrily.
“C’mon, friend. You really wanna stop me from using your things?” Clement asked.
“Yes, please. Especially without my permission” Prince replied and walked out.
“Prince, go shower and join me. I prepared all these dishes myself and brought them here. Make sure you call your friend, to join us” His Granny said while arranging the various home made dishes on the dining table. written by sommy pearl f.
Prince smiled and nodded.
He left and afterwards, Clement walked in with a big smile.
MINUTES LATER***
“Thanks for the food, Grandma” The two boys said in unison and they quickly faced eachother.
Granny laughed, shortly.
“I’m glad you both liked and enjoyed it. Prince, can we talk now? I really wanna speak to you inprivate”
Prince blinked and nodded.
They exused themselves from Clement and went to Prince’s bedroom.

“What do you wanna talk about?” Prince asked, watch her sit on his bed.
He was on his feet, facing her.
Granny looked at him briefly.
“Prince?” She called, calmly.
“Yes, Granny?” He responded.
“Don’t you dare lie to me. You’re dating someone, right?”
Prince bulged his eyes in suprise.
“Are you kidding me? Who told you that??”
“Does anyone have to tell me anything when I can clearly see it”
Prince rubbed his face.
“See what? So, you’re now a seer” He mocked.
Granny hissed.
“Wh@tëver.So, when are we gonna be doing the introduction?”
“Introduction??” He raised a brow.
“What introduction? What are you saying?”
“I’m talking about your girlfriend”
“Granny. I have no girlfriend and It’s nothing but the whole truth”
“I don’t believe you”
Prince sighed and bent down towards her.
He held her hand and looked at her.
“What do you want me to do to prove I ain’t dating”
Granny studied his handsome face for a while.
“Then, go on a date” She finally spoke.
Prince stood up, hurriedly.
“Except that, Granny. No more dates for me”
“Then I…I…I assume you…you…are…are…ga..ga…ga…
“Gay?!” Prince exclaimed.
Granny looked away.
“No, I’m not. I’m straight” He smiled.
“Then, Why don’t you wanna date those girls I’ve been introducing to you?”
“Cause they don’t really love me. They just love me cause I’m Prince Langford. They are just infatuated by my handsomeness, body, riches and fame. A lot more too”
“In time, they’ll love you for who you are. Besides, you don’t love those girls too but the closer you both get, the more the love lingers”
“It’s different. I show them my true feelings to their face while those girls act lovey dovey with me. Infact, they are always all over me with their fake smiles but when I try to chat with them online, they bullsh!t me and call me a sort of insultive names. Is that the kind of daughter in law, you wish to have? Would you approve of her and our marriage?”
Granny sighed.

“What’s it? Talk to me” He muttered, hurriedly.
“My grandson, My only prince. My coffee lord…”
“Why are you talking like this?”
“I’m just scared. I don’t want you to be lonely. What if I leave? Who will stay with you?? I never wished for your parents to leave early and suddenly. I want you to fall in love with a good girl, whom would love you too. Then, you both will have kids, become a happy family and live happily ever after and now I’m still here with you, I wanna see that happen, please” She sobbed, quietly with little tears escaping from her eyes.
Prince emotionally stared at her face and gently wiped her tears.
He inhaled and bent down, and with that, he hugged her.
“Granny,,, You don’t have to cry. You don’t have to get worried either. I promise to bring a girl to you” He whispered.
Granny quickly broke the hug and looked at him.
“A girl? From? How?”
Prince swallowed hard.
“Huh. Actually, you were right. I do have a girlfriend” He chuckled, nervously.
“Really? Why did you lie earlier”She gushed.
“Uhh…Hmm…Cause I thought it was too early. I didn’t want to rush things”
“It’s okay. It’s fine. As far as you both are in love”
Prince just smiled awkwardly.
“So, when are you gonna introduce her to me?”
“Huh?”
“Why are you huhing? When am I meeting my daughter in law?!” She exclaimed, joyously.
“Uhm…I’m gonna talk to her, first, ok?”
Granny wore a sad face and sighed, looking down. She was doing this to get to him and it worked!
“Okay. Okay, Granny. You are gonna meet with her”
Her face lightened up immediately.
“Really!?”
He smiled and nodded.
“I can’t wait. So, when should we meet?”
“This is thursday. Hmm…What about next week monday. I’ll clear all my schedule for this”
“Awwwn! Thank you, grandson” She chuckled and hugged him.
Prince hugged her back and a disturbed emotion replaced his face.
“Darn. What the h*ll just happened? What did I sayyy. Ugh” He thought.
