“I’m starting to get a bit peckish, and I’m sure you’re starving after all of this”Mina said and Alex nodded.
“Yeah, I’m definitely ready for some food,”She said.
“Thanks again for being so understanding, Mina. It really means a lot”Alex said as they walked out of the class.
“Of course,” Mina said.
“We’re friends, after all,And friends forgive each other, right?”She added and Alex smiled.
**
SENIOR BLOCK*
Rudy stood up from his seat, carrying his bag and Angela looked up at him.
“Ru ..ud.. Rudy”She called stammering as she stared at Rudy but he didn’t answer.
She stood up and called him again but Rudy didn’t answer.
“Rudy ca..ca.. can we..we go ho…”
“No”Rudy cut in with a glare.
Angela felt a lump form in her throat.
She had a sinking feeling that she knew what Rudy was about to say, but she held out a small bit of hope that she was wrong.
“No,” Rudy repeated, his tone cold and final.
“Not after what happened”
Angela’s heart sank,She knew what he was referring to, and she felt a wave of shame and regret wash over her.
“I know, I’m sorry,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“I …I …I shouldn’t have ki…”
Before she could finish her sentence Rudy had already started walking toward the class entrance when Max suddenly approached him.
“Hey, Rudy”Max called waving at him but Rudy ignored him and walked out of the class.
“Jeez why is he ignoring me and he is always acting like he doesn’t know me whenever we are at school”
“Gawd,I h@të this side of him”Max muttered as he walked out of the classroom but he was suddenly blocked by Kiran and Kyran.
He let out a short sigh and said,
“It’s you two again”
“Yes, it’s us again, four eyes,”Kyran said and Max frowned.
“What do you want this time?”He asked, staring at Kiran who quickly looked away as her cheeks slowly turned red.
“Are you okay, Kiran?”Kyran asked and Kiran nodded as she quickly went to hide behind Kyran.
Which made Kyran more curious to know what was wrong with her.
“Are you sure ,you are okay Kira?”Kyran asked again.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Kiran said, trying to sound convincing.
“I just…um…well…” She trailed off, not sure how to explain.
Kyran’s eyes narrowed in suspicion.
“Ju …just gi ..give it to him, just give him the glasses and tell him I’m sorry”Kiran said, still hiding behind Kyran.
“You know he can hear you,”Kyran said and Kiran nodded shyly.
“Just do it please,”Kiran begged.
“Fine I will”Kyran sighs.
“Here you can have this,four eyes”Kyran said as she brought out a new pair of glasses.
“Really?”Max asked, collecting it.
“Yes it is Kiran who bought it for you as an apology for breaking your glasses so you should thank her,”Kyran said.
Max’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Kiran bought this for me?”He asked, looking at the glasses in his hand and then at Kiran, who was now standing next to Kyran, looking embarrassed.
“I will excuse you two,”Kyran said, walking away.
“Hey wait please don’t go”Kiran said but Kyran ignored her.
“Hey, Kiran,”Max called.
“Huh”
“Thank you,” He said.
“Hmm”
“Thank you for the glasses,Kiran, that was really nice and sweet of you”Max smiled which made Kiran blushed.
Kyran paused, turning back to look at them and she smiled when she saw Kiran blushing.
“So she likes him,”Kyran muttered and continued walking away.
“Do you know that you look cute when you blushed,Kiran?”Max said.
“Oh!” Kiran said, blushing even harder.
“I…um…thank you.” She looked down, not sure what to say next.
“Don’t be embarrassed,” Max said, trying to put her at ease.
“It’s cute”
“I’m not cute,” Kiran said, shaking her head.
“Yes you are,”
“You are very cute,”Max said.
Kiran couldn’t help but smile.
“You’re ridiculous,” she said, but she didn’t sound annoyed. In fact, she sounded rather pleased.
“I’m just being honest,” Max said, grinning.
Kiran bit her lip, feeling a rush of happiness. No one had ever said anything like that to her before.
“You’re not so bad yourself, Max,” she said, surprising herself with her own boldness.
Max’s smile widened.
“Glad to hear it,”He said, his eyes twinkling.
“I will see you around, Kiran,” Max said.
“Wait”Kiran said.
“Huh”
“Don’t forget to wear the glasses when you’re coming to school tomorrow”Kiran said
“I won’t,”Max said, giving her a friendly wave.
“See you tomorrow,”Kiran said, returning the wave.
“Can’t wait,” Max said, turning to walk away. As he did, he thought to himself,
“I really enjoyed talking to her. She’s so cute when she blushed I hope we can be friends”
Max thought as he made his way out of the school feeling happy.
“He is so handsome,”Kiran blushed, covering her face.

“Hey Angela”Ellie called, tapping her.
“Angela”
“Angela”
“Angela,”Ellie screamed.
“GAH!” Angela yelped, startled by the sudden noise.
She turned around to see Ellie grinning at her, looking entirely too pleased with herself.
“You know you’re not supposed to sneak up on people like that,” Angela said, trying to catch her breath.
“You scared me half to death!”
“Sorry, sorry,” Ellie said, but she didn’t look sorry at all.
“I just wanted to tell you that it’s time to go home,”Ellie said.
“Ohh”
“Where is Celine?”Angela asked.
“Celine went home already,” Ellie said, shrugging.
“She as been feeling kind of down since she find out Rudy have a girlfriend”
“Oh,”
“What about you,”Ellie asked.
“Huh”
“You have not been acting yourself ever since you and Rudy came back to the class”
“Are you okay?”Ellie asked, looking worried.
“I’m fine Ellie,there is nothing to worry about”Angela said.
“Okay,if you say so”
“We should really get going, though,” Ellie said, glancing at her watch.
“If we don’t hurry, we’re going to be late for our photoshoot today”
Angela nodded, picking up her things as they headed out the door.
They walked quickly to the school parking lot where Ellie’s car was parked. As they reached it, Ellie unlocked the doors and they both climbed inside.
“I’m kind of excited for the shoot today,” Ellie said as she started the engine.
“it’s going to be fun, and the location is supposed to be really cool”
“It should be,” Angela said, thinking about the place they were going to be using as the setting for their photoshoot.
“I’ve heard the place is really nice and beautiful,it’ll make for some great photos”
“Exactly!” Ellie said, grinning as she drove off.
**
LOUIS’S RESIDENCE*
Mina walked into the house and saw her brother sitting on the couch with a smirk.
“Hello,Mina,”Adrian said, his smirk growing wider.
“How was your day?”He asked and Mina rolled her eyes.
“Oh,it was quite fun watching senior Rudy beating you like that”She said and Adrian frowned but suddenly let out a loud laugh.
“Very soon,your boyfriend Rudy is gonna get expelled from our school”
“What?!” Mina said, her eyes wide with disbelief.
“You can’t be serious,Why would they expel him?”
“He beat up a fellow student,and this,”Adrian said, showing Mina the pictures of Rudy kissing Angela.
