AN ALLEY**
Nicole was already shivering in fear as the lady approached
“Why do you wanna do this? Do you know me from somewhere? Did I offend you in any way?” She inquired
“Your offence is working on Ted’s case…… I sent you a warning through the death of your partner but chose to be a logger head. You’ve met with death and nothing can save you….. I’ll advice you to say your last words” The lady said, raising the hammer up
Just then a plank landed on the lady’s head making her turn back. Arnold was holding a plank, breathing really hard, he was at alert.
“Sh|t” The lady scoffed, brushing Arnold off and running away
“Are you okay?” He dropped the plank and moved closer to Nicole, who was already on the floor trying to get herself back together
“I’m fine, I can’t believe I almost go killed” She replied with a light smile
“Is that a smile or what? You almost got killed and you’re smiling? What kind of a human are you?” Arnold’s eyes widened in amazement
“I almost got killed but I didn’t die……. Thanks a lot” She said standing up without any support
Arnold grinned widely, feeling like a superhero making her scoff.
“To show your appreciation, give me your number then” He uttered, stratching the back of his head nervously
“No….. I can’t give it you you” She replied, she’s back to her straight look
“Why? I just saved your life and what I want is for you to repay me back by giving me your number. Or is it something hard?”
“I don’t give my number to perverts” She smirked, moving closer to him
“And the aspect of saving me, I’ve got a gun. if you had not come, I would have used my baby” She kissed the gun
Arnold’s eyes widened and he quickly raised his both hands up
“You had that the whole time?” He blinked rapidly, looking at her speechlessly, she never cease to amaze him
“Of course, my baby is always with me” She replied with a grin, putting the gun back in her pocket
“I guess I was not of importance” Arnold chuckled, looking hurt as he turned back to leave
“Thanks, I really appreciate” She shouted after him, making a smile spread on his face
MARTINS MANSION**
Jimmy was being treated and Martins was laying down with Amelia sitting on his bed, just beside him. Hus temperature was very high and he looked pale
“I’m sorry,,,, I didn’t know it was this serious” She said, feeling guilty already
“It’s fine, I’m glad you are here” He smiled, his dry lips parted
“Why are you refusing to go to the hospital? You should have the doctors run tests on you” Amelia uttered
“I h@të the smell of hospitals…. I just need you beside me” He held her hand, caressing it slowly
“Am I a doctor or what? Or am I your cure?” She teased, playing with his fingers
“Who knows…. you might be” He shrugged, looking serious
She flapped her long, thick lashes cutely, making him drool
“Are you kidding me right now?”
“Nope, I’m dead serious” He smiled.
All of a sudden he pulled her hard, making her land on his chest. Their faces were just inches apart and her body pressed on his. He wrapped his hand on her waist, adjusting her head well on his chest.
“I feel better this way” He muttered, closing his eyes
SEVEN’S MANSION**
Thelma came down the stairs only to see Sean, in the living room.
“Why are you here?” She rolled her eyeballs,taking her seat
“I came to see you” He shrugged,looking at her keenly
“Why? It’s not like I went missing or something” She uttered in pure sarcasm
“We’ll be leaving for the concert tomorrow so I just thought I should see you one last time” He replied
“Goodluck with the concert….. what else do you want?Why are you even here? Did you missing the direction to your mansion or something? She snapped, glaring at him angrily
“I don’t know why I’m here, I just find myself here….. I find myself wanting to see you” He retorted, returning the glare
“Now you’ve seen me….. you can leave now”
“Will you be coming for the concert?” He asked
“No!” She replied sharply
Just then Seven came down the stairs, his appearance alone gives others the kind of personality he is.
“Good evening sir” Sean greeted and Seven narrowed his gaze at him
“Who are you?Thelma’s boyfriend?” He asked
“Dad, come on……. I can’t chose a twerp as a partner, I’m Thelma Seven” She bragged. Sean’s eyes widened in shock
‘Did she just call me a twerp?’
“You are a member of the STARS right?” Seven asked
“Yes sir” Sean said, turning to look at Thelma who had a disgusted look on
“You are welcome and you are free to date her….. you have my permission ” Seven winked at Sean,who swallowed into nothing
“Dad are you giving me out like that? Like some sort of cheap garbage?” Thelma whined with a cute pout
I love you sweetie but he loves you more, it’s clearly written in his eyes” Seven replied. Sean blinked rapidly, enlarging his eyes as he started at Thelma who was also looking at him
“I see only terror and senselessness in his eyes….. he doesn’t love me” Thelma bursted out, dramatically
Sean shook his head standing up
” I’ll take my leave now” He bowed, before leaving

THE STARS MANSION**
“I’m f***ing exhausted”Arnold groaned, taking a gulp of the bottle water. He used a towel to dab the sweat on his face. They’ve been practiceng for close to two hours now
“Let’s rest early guys….. The flight is tomorrow”Teddy announced, taking his seat on a couch
Sean stood up and moved over to Arnold and squatted in front of him. Arnold looked at him confusedly
“Look into my eyes, what can you see?” Sean inquired
” The only thing I can see is your dark eyeballs like that of an owl….. Don’t you think you eyeball is too big? “Arnold replied making Sean seethe in rage
“What!!? I have the cutest eyeballs ever” He protested
“Then what about this?” Arnold winked at Sean with a playboy smile, enough to melt any ladies heart
“Can you teach me that?” Sean asked, taking Arnold’s hand
” Why? You got someone you like?”
“I don’t know, just in case” Sean pouted
Arnold bursted into an annoying laugh making Sean frustrated, he ran his hand through his hair standing up. He moved to the wine cellar and grabbed a bottle of wine and a glass cup, he poured some wine in it and sipped the content slowly
“Saint Sean” Arnold said mockingly
“Just stop okay? Listen, forget that I asked”Sean groaned but Arnold kept on laughing and soon Ryan followed suite making Arnold stopped immediately, he turned to look at Ryan who had also stopped laughing
” Why are you laughing?” Arnold asked
“I was laughing at your stupidity” Ryan hissed, turning to look away
“Teddy, do you have that detective’s phone number” Arnold suddenly asked, ignoring Ryan’s remark
“Why are you asking?” Teddy looked at him
“A masked woman attacked her tonight” Arnold broke the news
“Is she dead?” Ryan butted in, impatiently
They all turned to face him
” Why will you say such? Of course, she survived….. I saved her”Arnold boasted and no one notice when Ryan’s palm became sweaty, he moved about the chair uncomfortably
He quietly excused himself and took the stairs

” Boss, we failed in the plan ” Someone said on the phone
“Attempt another then and no mistakes this time” The receiver said
” Yes boss, I’ll do just that”
“Hope you are still hidden or they’ve started suspecting you?” The so called boss said
“No one suspects me……. It’s great over here boss” The person said
” What about Teddy? Look for any weaknesses of his….. Probably his girlfriend or something, just look for anything that will make him succvmb to our wishes” The boss said before hanging up
