≈ WEDDING NIGHT ≈
They watched her leave the hall and immediately the whole building was on fire.
?️ Seriously!
?️ What the heck?!!
?️ Did I seriously leave my house because of this?!!
?️ What sort of joke is this??
?️ I should have expected this when I heard the bride’s name, hmph!
Words of displeasure flew across the building. Mrs Gonzàlez and Mrs Adams knew they won’t be able to calm down the enraged guest so they had to run after Yolanda.
They were asked to take care of things here and the bride was already leaving.
“Yolanda!!” They called, they were almost at the door when they stopped on their track. They heaved a sigh of relief seeing the two.
The already disorganized hall became dead silent as they came in.
Miguel and Yolanda. They had their hands interlocked and Yolanda was now wearing her veil. She tried to remove her hand from Miguel’s but his grip was tight.
“Mom?? Where were you guys running to?? We just decided to play some pranks with you guys and you’re already panicking, really??” Miguel asked smiling widely.
“Miguel!” He mom called, hitting him playfully before hugging him.
“You made me worry sick, where went you.” She asked.
“We can discuss that later but for now I have a vow to make, the auspicious time is almost passing by.” He told her and she broke the hug.
“Yah right. Come on.” They began walking in, to the altar.
Mr Adams and Mr Gonzàlez arrived almost immediately with Gael. They went to take their seat while Gael went to stand beside Miguel.
He was his best man. ” Don’t tell me you’re about getting married without your best man.” He whispered and Miguel elbowed him.
He groaned, Camila chuckled. She was Yolanda’s chief bridesmaid.
The priest recited some words before he started. Yolanda looked at her parents and that of Miguel’s.
They were smiling broadly, she scoffed.
“So Mr Miguel Gonzàlez, do you agree to take Miss Yolanda Adams here as your lawfully wedded wife??” He asked and Miguel cleared his throat before he began reciting his poem.
“My love, the reason that I breathe, the orange of my eyes, the air that I breathe, mi amor, if I don’t choose you then who should I choose… Whether this planet or another I will always choose you.” He grinned widely and Gael was trying so hard…
So hard not to laugh, he finally laughed when he couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“Do you like my pick-up lines??” He asked and she scoffed.
“Mr Gonzàlez, you still haven’t answered the question.” The priest said and he furrowed his brows.
“But I just did.” He said
“Answer dummy.” Gael nudged, he glared.
“Yes I do.” He finally said.
“Miss Yolanda Adams, do you you agree to take Mr Gonzàlez here as your lawfully wedded husband??” He asked and she rolled her eyes.
Like if she said no, they were gonna take it for an answer.
“Yes I do.” Mr Adams smiled, he was expecting her to say otherwise… He really didn’t loss all of his daughter.
They took their vows next and it was time for the main deal.
“By the power vested in me as a priest, I pronounce you man and wife… ” An outstanding ovation followed.
“Awwwn… My son is finally a married man. Today is the happiest day of my life.” Mrs Gonzàlez squealed.
“Me too. I can’t believe that my baby is married, wow.” Mrs Adams gushed and they both hugged each other, fighting back their tears.
Tears of joy.
“Women…” Mr Adams shook his head smiling.
“Always acting emotional.” Mr Gonzàlez said and they laughed.
“Congratulations man, we’re now in-laws.” He added and they shook hands.
“I’m happy we turned from friends to families.” Mr Adams said and they smiled.
“… You may now, kiss the bride.” The priest voice came on and Miguel smirked as the moment he has long been waiting for finally came.
Gael grinned widely.
Camila watched as he walked towards her, was he really gonna kíss her?? She thought.
This two keeps surprising her. She just had to watch.
Before Miguel could get to her, she removed her veil.
“Okay, enough now… The wedding has come to an end you all go home.” She said and murmurs filled the hall.
Camila palmed her forehead. Miguel stared at her with widened eyes, was she being serious right now?
“With the way your wife is acting, I doubt there is gonna be any wedding night.” Gael grinned widely.
“You should be lucky we’re in a church otherwise, your teeth would have been rolling on the floor.
Yolanda packed a handful of her gown and began climbing down the altar.
“Are you really in a haste to go home??” Mrs Adams asked as they stopped her.
“What else should I be doing?? I’ve already put the darn ring on my finger, what’s left to do again??” She asked instead.
“But Landa you can’t leave just like that.” Mrs Gonzàlez told her.
“Do I look like I care!!” She snapped as they were beginning to create commotion, they had to go outside.
?️ Hell of a marriage!
?️ Such a rude bride!
?️ I feel like this is a forced marriage!
?️ Exactly!
