Chapter 35
*Mexico*
*Underground parking lot*
Bella rushed out of the restaurant to the
underground parking lot her tears flowing fast.
She was about to go cry her heart out at a
corner when a familiar voice called out to her
causing her to halt her footsteps.
“Bella!” James shouted in shock as soon as he
saw her deflated appearance.
He knew that she had finally saw Nelly’s true
colours.
“Bella.” He whispered as he pulled her frozen
body into a tight embrace.
“Waaaaaaaa…….” She finally wailed loudly like
a child her shoulders shaking as she clutched
onto him.
Her face was buried of his broad chest as she
cried her eyes out.
James didn’t say a word but let her cry her
hearts contents out on chest as he lightly
soothed his back.
“It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It
hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It really hurts. It’s hurts
so badly.” She chanted as she cried loudly.
“Shhh…princess. You have me. James will
always be here for you. No matter how much it
hurts I will help you through it.Don’t cry. She
isn’t crying for you. Is she? She is still the same
hypocrite as before. I need you to calm down a
little. Think rationally.” James comforted and
encouraged her at the same time.
“That’s what hurts me the most! She is still the
same hypocrite that sees me as nothing but a
slave for her to use at her own disposal.” Bella
cried loudly.
“I am here.” James reassured her.
As Bella was crying 1hour had already passed
before Bella stopped crying and finally looked
at James in the eye.
“James, promise me you’ll never hurt me.” Bella
cried out. Nelly’s actions had completely ruined
her trust for people.
“I will never ever do anything to hurt you Bella I
promise.” James smiled as he slowly wiped her
face clean.
“I am sorry for ruining your shirt with my snort
and tears.” Bella apologized in embarrassment
as she looked at her own handy-work.
“It’s actually a good piece of art. I love it.”
James smiled.
Although James was a clean freak just like
Jakes he found everything about Bella perfect.
Even her naive behavior. Although he badly
wanted to help her grow up which was why he
let her go meet Nelly today. She didn’t wanna
hurt her deeply beyond repair.
He would let her see the world step by step.
*Another restaurant*
Jakes bought Josephine out for dinner at a
revolving restaurant near the company.
The waiter had already collected their orders
and Jakes decided to start a conversation.
“So, what do you think about the entire being
away from the kids for a few months?” Jakes
asked he wanted to see if this woman really
was the same one he had fallen in love with.
“I think it’s a pretty good plan for me to have a
little bit of space from the kids.” Josephine said
in a calm voice.” Spending so much time with
them is not very good for my health. ”
“It’s funny how you suddenly grew up.” Jakes
laughed. He could already see that this woman
was an impostor.
“Haha, I probably just bumped my head in the
fall and that maybe suddenly woke me up.”
Josephine joked trying to clear the tense air.
“Ha, that should also be a good result. Your
possessiveness over those kids is beyond
mulfunctioning.” Jakes said while observing
Josephine’s stiff facial appearance.
“Haha.” Josephine laughed stiffly as she
scratched her head nervously.
With that Jakes got his final warning but didn’t
immediately break ties with her.
“I almost forgot I have a dinner with my parents
later tonight. So can we have this one another
time. You can take the food home with you as
delivery.” Jakes said.
“Ok. No worries.” Josephine said as he looked at
Jakes’s figure slowly walk out of the restaurant.
She immediately told the waiter to do a house
delivery before walking out too and driving back
to Erica’s Mansion.
*Underground parking lot*
Jakes sat in his car thinking of ways to contact
Erica. And it finally clicked to him.
Erica was E an online hacker and was probably
bored at this time and would be online by now.

already?😂💬 Erica texted back.
💬Why will I miss a rascal like you?💬 Jakes
texted back while laughing.

knowing that this childish argument won’t come
to an end.

after a long pause.
💬She is pretending to be you. But clearly out of
character.💬 Jakes texted back lazily.
💬Mm, no wonder you knew she was a fake so
quickly.😩Even pretending to be me doesn’t

jokingly.

seriously.

point I don’t understand myself. I think there’s
some sort of smiley war Natalia is fighting with
the family. And is using Josephine as a pawn.

The chat suddenly went silent and the two
mutually went offline. Jakes sighed softly then
buckled his seat belts before driving away.
*Erica’s Mansion*
Josephine knocked on the door for quite awhile
before opening the door herself.
“These foolish maids! Hey!” Josephine shouted
only to find an empty house.
“Uhm, what’s going on?” She asked herself
when suddenly the bell rang she immediately
opened the door only to find a delivery man
from the revolving restaurant she immediately
took the food.
“Miss please sign here and write the payment
method.” The delivery guy said.
“Uhm, didn’t the guy I was with pay already?”
She asked buffed.
“No, he didn’t.” The delivery guy said.
“Ok.” Josephine said embarrassed.
After the delivery guy left.
Josephine suddenly saw that the house was
empty and a shiver rushed down her spine.
“What the h£ll is going on?” Josephine
suddenly asked seriously.
