” You were worried about me?” Ivy asked.
” Of course, I am.” Ivan said but when he realized what he said, he looked at her and they both stare at each other.

“I didn’t mean to say that, I was only concerned you got lost.. goodnight.” Ivan said feeling awkward going back upstairs.
“Good night.” Ivy yelled after him smiling.
“Oh that was close. I didn’t go anywhere to buy anything. I went to see Granny and am happy she’s fine.”
Ivy yawned tiredly and went to her room too.
★ Next morning★
Ivy and Ivan were at the dinning with Ma. Rose, Louisa came down too looking dull
It’s evident she cried all night, she was really heartbroken by what Ryan did.
She got to the dinning and sat down as one of the maids came to serve her food.
Unlike before, Ivan noticed Louisa didn’t greet anyone and wasn’t cheerful unlike everyday.
“Louisa.” Ivan called.
” Yes brother.” Louisa said.
Ivy looked at her worriedly, even her voice has changed and her eye bag has swollen up.
“What’s wrong with you?” Ivan asked.
“Nothing, am fine.” Louisa said putting on a fake smile.
“Don’t you dare lie to me, tell me why you look so dull.” Ivan asked again, looking serious this time.
“Sir, I don’t think you should be harsh towards her, don’t worry I will talk to her.” Ivy said.
“She is my sister, I have all the right to ask if my sister is okay or not.” Ivan said and Ivy swallowed nothing.
“Sir, please listen to me. Trust me I will ask her, she might have her insecurities.” Ivy said making a pleading face which Ivan fell for and he continued eating.
“I will drop you at your college.” Ivan said and Louisa nodded.
After a while, they finished eating and they entered the car. Ivy sat beside the driver while Louisa rested her head on Ivan’s shoulder.
★ Ellite College★
The car stopped at the college and Ivan stepped down with Louisa and Ivy.
As soon as the students saw him, they started rushing towards him.

More students started rushing their way as they all surrounded Ivan, Ivy rolled her eyes at them.
Everyone came including Ryan, they started asking for his autograph. When it’s time for Ryan to ask for an autograph too, Louisa stand in between.
“Don’t you dare go near him.” Louisa said staring h@tëfully at him.

👥: Why is she acting strange
👥: He is just asking for an autograph
” Louisa, you can’t be rude.” Ivan said touching her.
“Go brother, else you will be late to office.” Louisa said as she gave a hug.
👥: How I wish I am the one hugging him
👥: Oh Lord, he is supposed to my brother or any relative.
Everyone started gushing at the brother and sister duo as Ivan pecked Louisa’s forehead.
“Bye Louisa.” Ivy said too and they both waved before they entered the car and drove off.
Everyone started dispersing to their various places. Louisa was going to the class to meet Charlotte when Ryan stopped her holding her hand.
“Let.. go..of.. my.. hand.” Louisa said one after the other with her eyes closed.
Ryan let go slowly and Louisa open her eyes.
“Louisa, won’t you give me a chance to explain.” Ryan said softly.
“I had thought over and over again before I agreed to you and you couldn’t even tell me the college greatest bully in college was your girlfriend, and you know how much we h@të each other., She is just trying to get you back.” Louisa said with a tear which drop from her eyes.
“Louisa, trust me I didn’t mean to keep it a secret. I just thought it’s wouldn’t be right if I tell you about it now, we just started dating and I don’t want any kind of hindrance or something bad to destroy our relationship, trust me I was planning on telling you and I don’t even love her again.” Ryan said.
“When is that?”
“Soon Louisa, as soon as possible. Please try to understand me, I really h@të it when you avoid me. You love me right?” Ryan asked.
Louisa kept quiet for a while.
“Please I don’t want to see you for some times.” Louisa said and walk away.
Ryan run his hand in his hair in frustration, as his friends came to meet him and pacify him.

Ivan and Ivy got down from the car and went into the elevator.
“Why did Louisa behaved that way with the guy, are they in a misunderstanding or something. It’s really weird, right?” Ivy said and looked at Ivan but he wasn’t looking at her.
She immediately look away Immediately.
“Sorry sir.” Ivy said softly.
“What for.” Ivan finally spoke up.
“I thought I was already talking too much.” Ivy said and brought down her head.
“I was actually thinking about it too.” Ivan said and the elevator opened.
“You have a good sense of humor.” Ivan said and walk out of the elevator as Ivy stared in surprise.
“Hun, did he..he just compliment me?” Ivy asked a rhetorical question and out of the elevator before it close.

The staffs greeted him and he nodded. He got to his office and Ivy entered too still smiling.
He sat down on his chair and called the receptionist.
📞: Inform Melissa she is needed in my office. Ivan said.
📞: But sir, she is not in the company right now
📞: What do you mean by that
📞: She hadn’t come to office at all today
The receptionist said and Ivan furrowed his brows.
📞: Okay
Ivan said and dropped the telephone.
” What’s wrong sir?” Ivy asked seeing his worried face.
* I hope this is not part of that unknown caller’s doing.* Ivan said in his head.
” Sir?” Ivy called again and he came out of his imagination.
“It’s nothing, I was just wondering why Melissa isn’t in the company. She never does that, this is the first time.” Ivan said bringing out some files.
“Sir, she may has something important to do, maybe it’s involve her family. Everyone has a family yunno.” Ivy said.
Hearing that, Ivan’s mind travelled to his parents and his expression changed to an angry one.
* How can someone’s parents be this callous, all they do is to always call Ma. Rose,they wouldn’t dare to call one of their children after all.* Ivan said inwardly.
“Is everything fine sir?” Ivy asked again.
“You ask a lot of questions lately, you know that Miss. Rhett.” Ivan said working on the file.
“I only care Cold ice.” Ivy muttered, not audible to hear.
“What did you say?” Ivan asked looking at her.
“Huh, I.. didn’t say anything.” Ivy said.
*Can he read my mind, is he a mind reader?* She said inwardly.
Ivan then chuckled and Ivy looked at him in surprise.
“Did you just smile?” Ivy said smiling.
“Smile? I didn’t smile, I only chuckled lightly.” Ivan said putting on his cold face.
“Nevertheless, chuckle also means you smile. This is the first time am seeing you smile, please will you smile everyday?” Ivy said cutely.
“Stop, I told you I didn’t smile.” Ivan half yelled and Ivy frowned and sat down far away from him.
★ The Restaurant★
Noah served the customer and came back to the counter.
“Hey Melody.” Noah said gaining Melody’s attention.
“Are you done?”
“Of course.” Noah said and Melody nodded going back to her work.
” Melody, I.. umm want to ask if you can go out with me tonight.” Noah said and Melody looked at him.
“Why?” Melody asked.
“It’s secret for now, I wanna tell you something special.” Noah whispered to her ear before leaving.
Melody froze on her stand as her heart skip a beat.

Ivan finished with his work and Ivy stood there looking at him doing the work and going to get tea or coffee for him whenever he needs it.
” Miss. Rhett, my birthday is in a while.” Ivan said and Ivy’s eyes widened.
“What! I mean wow I can’t really wait. Happy birthday in advance sir.” Ivy said smiling.
“I wanna make it big and you will be in charge of Everything.” Ivan said and Ivy’s eyes widened.
“What!” Ivy said staring at him and he stared back.
