°°° THE MEYERS’ MANSION ～☆
As usual, Mrs. Meyers can be seen at their garden, just sitting and chilling. With a jug of juice placed on the table before her.
Desiree can also be seen at the flower side, plucking some flowers, alongside, chasing and playing with cute butterflies like she always does whenever she’s here, whilst her grandmom just kept watching her play around.
She later came back to where Mrs. Meyers sat, with a handful of flowers that she picked, and immediately started fixing them on her granny’s hair.
“You look so beautiful, grandmom” She said, hugging her after she was done fixing the flowers.
“Aww, my one and only grandchild. The only Meyers’ baby” Mrs. Meyers praised with a chuckle. She carried little Dee afterwards, putting her on her legs as she began to plant soft kìsses all over her body.
Desiree started giggling, moving her body funnily as those kìsses were kind of ticklish to her.
“Grandmom….?” Desiree suddenly called, questioningly.
“Yes, dear” Mrs. Meyers answered, stopping what she was doing to her to look at her face.
“Where is my daddy? Do you know where he and Miss Ella went to?” The little girl asked, playing with her granny’s hair.
“Oh! Daddy went out with Miss Ella?” Mrs. Meyers asked back instead, and the little girl nodded immediately, happy.
‘Oh..” Mrs. Meyers mouthed, smiling at her.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart, but I don’t know where they went to” She replied her, honestly.
Desiree could only pout sadly, just staring at her grandmom.
Her dad has stayed longer than she thought he would stay, and she misses him right now.
“Can you call daddy and ask him to come back now, I miss him and Miss Ella” Desiree then asked after she went quiet for a moment.
“Definitely my love. I will call him right now, alright?” Mrs. Meyers said, picking up her phone to dial Jerome, but a call came in that instant before she could do so.
“Yes?” Mrs. Meyers immediately said, getting up from where she sat to go speak with the person on the phone.
Desiree followed her though.
“Hmmm?” Mrs. Meyers frowned, hearing what the person said.
“Okay. Keep me updated” She said shortly, tucking her hair behind her ear with a heavy breath.
After a little more talk with the person, the call was disconnected.
“That wasn’t daddy, right grandmom?” Desiree who already guessed from the conversation between her grandma and the person at the other end of the call, asked, knowing that definitely wasn’t be her dad.
“No, it wasn’t. Come here, I’m calling your daddy now” Mrs. Meyers said, and Desiree smiled, though she wanted to ask who that was.

“That’s…. This is Lenora’s Dad, Jerome….” Janella stuttered, not believing what her eyes were seeing at all.
“The heck! What?!!!”….. Jerome exclaimed with wide eyes.
“OMG! It can’t be Nora’s dad, no, geez!” Janella exclaimed unbelievably, placing her hand on her forehead.
“Oh Lord! Why does it have to be Nora’s dad? Why, why, why?!” She began to question herself inwardly as her heart became heavy and restless.
She was still trying to recover from the big shock, when she remembered what Lenora told her like two hours ago.
“Wait a second! Now this makes sense, JJ” Janella suddenly said even though Jerome knows nothing about what she just said.
Jerome could only stare at her in confusion as he was speechless.
He couldn’t believe it that doctor Mark is Lenora’s dad.
His very own girlfriend’s best friend!

“What are you talking about, Ella?” Jerome managed to ask with curved brows.
“You remember I had to go home because Lenora needed to talk to me about something very urgent and important?” Janella asked, and he nodded immediately, after which, Janella told him what Lenora actually came to talk to her about.
“You have got to be kidding me. What?!” Jerome exclaimed in utter disbelief.
“Wait! He’s planning to leave the country without telling me who is behind my predicament? He is such a d_1ck!! A f*cking d_1ck!” Jerome yelled out loud, so loud that Janella even flinched a little.
“You are taking me to his house right now, Janella” He momentarily held the steering, and made to start the car engine to leave, anger burning all over him.
What the heck?!!
“JJ……! Jerome, please” Janella quickly held his hand, stopping him from pressing the start button; his car is actually an automatic one, so he really doesn’t need to start it with his car keys.
Anyway, Janella succeeded in getting his hand off the steering, placing it on her chest. She shut her eyes tight, and took a deep breath.
As if to just start shedding tears because this was too overwhelming.
“Oh, gawd….oh, gawd….oh, gawd!” She continued to exclaim, inwardly.
“Babes, calm down and listen to me, please. I’m sorry, but I am not letting you go there now. No, I’m not doing that.
You are not in your right frame of mind, and going there in this state you are, will only complicate things. I am not even going to let you drive this car, Jerome, no!….” Janella shook her head, vehemently.
“He is leaving the country tomorrow, Janella, and you are saying we can’t go there now?” Jerome asked, more anger building up.
“He is not leaving, JJ, only his wife and Nora are leaving” Janella told him.
“It doesn’t matter, Janella! As long as his family is leaving, he is definitely gonna leave too! Don’t you get this?….”
“Just calm down please, their flight is by night. So we’ll go there first thing tomorrow morning when I know you’re calm and are yourself, please Jerome” Janella kept trying her best to calm him down.
“Arghhh!!” Jerome yelped, held the steering tight, and began to punch, pouring all his anger on the poor steering.
“Damnit…just danmit!!” He angrily hit his head on the steering, leaving it placed on the steering like that, but he kept punching it out of frustration until his hand started bleeding.
“Jerome!! Oh God! What the hell have you done to yourself?” Janella yelled and immediately held his hand that he was literally still punching the steering with.
“Stop it please. Just stop!!” Janella half yelled again.
She looked around the car, searching for water to wash his bleeding hand, but she found none, and she began to ruffle her hair in distress.
But thankfully, they was a pharmacy around the area so they both went there and got Jerome treated. After which Janella bought a chilled bottle of water and gave him to drink so he could cool himself down, which did help.
°°°BIG MOMMA’S HOME ～☆
“I honestly don’t understand what is going on with Janella, grandma. No, I don’t!” Abbey started, dropping her phone that she was scrolling up with, to face Big Momma.
“What happened, Abbey? Is anything the matter?” Big Momma who doesn’t understand what Abbey is all of a sudden talking about, asked.
“Grandma, you said it’s because of her school and work things have been the way they are with her, and I quite understand that. But it doesn’t seem like it at all. This is my fourth day here, grandma, and I can’t even tell how many hours Janella has actually spent with you and me” She continued. “I know I’m not supposed to be acting like a kid, but….” Abbey paused, rubbing her head a little. Big Momma could only stare at her with a low sigh.
“Just be calm, dear” Big Momma could only utter out those few words.
“I can’t really be calm anymore, grandma. I’m worried about my sister. I don’t think everything is alright with her” Abbey spoke again, frustration obvious in her voice.
This isn’t her sister at all.
She understands her situation, and also understands that things cannot be the same way they used to be between her and her sister when it comes to sitting and chit chatting for long. But this is not it all.
However, she and Big Momma were still talking when Janella actually came back, dragging her tired self in.
Janella greeted Big Momma immediately, and slumped on the couch tiredly, throwing her handbag to the other side of the couch.
Big Momma and Abbey immediately looked at each other, before turning their gazes to Janella.
“Welcome, dear” Big Momma said to her. “Janella, what’s going on? You’ve been different lately, and even come back home latter than you used to” She further spoke, calmly.
Janella sighed, but a slight smile followed it though.
“You won’t understand, Big Momma. It’s something we have to sit down and really talk about. There’s a lot going on in my boyfriend’s life right now….a lot, Big Momma” She added, sighing.
“And we just foud out that Lenora’s dad is….” Janella stopped talking when she heard her phone ding.
She brought it out from her handbag without wasting time, as she guessed it must be Jerome, because he said he was going to text her before she gets home.
But the message she rather saw, weakened her entire body.
She widened her eyes that soon became kind of blurry, her hands began to shake terribly.
They became so shaky that she couldn’t even hold her phone in her hands anymore.
The phone slipped off her hands and dropped on the couch with a thud.
“Janella!! What is it? What happened?!” Both Abbey and Big Momma asked at a time.
Abbey momentarily went to sit on the same couch Janella was sitting on, staring intensely at her in confusion.
“The….my b….the message….it said….no!” Janella was stuttering! She couldn’t talk, she just kept pointing her shaky fingers at her phone, with tears already streaming down.
“Janella….” Abbey didn’t even bother wasting another second to ask her what the problem was.
She picked up Janella’s phone in a swift and read the content of the message. A big frown of both shock and confusion was instantly plastered on her face as her eyes kept dilating more and more .

The message read and Abbey’s mouth hung….
Due to the too much, Janella couldn’t contain it, and before Big Momma and Abbey could speak, Janella instantly passed out.
“Oh my God!!!! Janella!!” Abbey screamed in fear…..
