[BEFORE THE EXPLOSION]
Clement ➡ Where is that stupid woman going? TRINITY! COME BACK HERE!!

Douglas ➡ Don’t mind her sir. You need to get to safety.

Clement ➡ God! Why is this happening? I had that b-tch! I HAD HER.

Douglas ➡ Sir, now is not the time to lament. You need to get to safety. We don’t have enough time.

Clement ➡ You’re right Douglas. Let’s go.

After crawling to a safe distance, both Clement and Douglas get on their feet and rush to one of Clement private rooms and as soon as they both get there, Clement begins to pack some of precious stuff putting it inside a briefcase.

Douglas ➡ What are you doing sir?

Clement ➡ What does it look like I’m doing? This battle has already been lost but I won’t go down defeated. I have something that will make that stupid organization crumble.

Douglas ➡ Is it the drive?

Clement ➡ Yes. Now enough talk. Just make sure we get out of here alive.

Douglas ➡ I’m afraid you won’t be going anywhere sir.

Clement ➡ What is that suppose to mean?

Immediately Clement turns around to face Douglas, he comes face to face with the barrel of a pistol pointed at his head. Shocked and confused by what was going on, Clement confronts Douglas who’s face was struck with a mean smile.

Clement ➡ Douglas, what’s the meaning of this?

Douglas ➡ Hostile takeover sir. You’re through. Hand over the drive.

Clement ➡ You traitor! How could you?
.
Douglas ➡ Look who’s talking? You’re the traitor. I’m just following in your footsteps.

Clement ➡ Why are you doing this?
.
Douglas ➡ Because I want to live. You were fighting a losing battle. Did you honestly think that you can win this? Look at what is happening now!
I made a deal with the organization a while back in return for a fair compensation and my life. Once I kill you and deliver the drive to them everything will be square for me.

Clement ➡ You will pay for this. Do you honestly think the organization will let you walk Scott free after knowing of their secrets.

Douglas ➡ I was told you’d say that. Any last words?

Clement ➡ Go to hell.

Without a moment’s pause, Douglas pulls the trigger shooting Clement right in the middle of his forehead. As Clement’s body slumps on the floor, Douglas quickly scatters Clement’s briefcase and takes out a flash and afterwards he brings out a C4 explosive from his jacket and plants it underneath Clement’s bed. After that, he rushes to balcony where he uses a grappling hook and line to make his escape.
{PRESENTLY}
48hrs after his betrayal and escape, Douglas arranges a meeting with King in the Lagos beach where he hands him over the drive and tells him everything that happened in Clement’s house.

King ➡ So the rat is dead?

Douglas ➡ Yes, I shot him myself. Here’s the flash containing all the organization’s secrets.

King ➡ (collects flash) Is this the only one?

Douglas ➡ Sure but even if there is, the fire would have destroyed them by now.

King ➡ I saw the news yesterday and I must say you did quite a good job. But you made a drastic move. If Black Ace hadn’t made it out in time she would have been roasted alive.

Douglas ➡ Sorry about that. I won’t make such a decision next time.

King ➡ There won’t be a next time. We’re done here. Since the rest of the money has been wired into your account, I hope we never meet again.

Douglas ➡ That’s unfortunate. I was hoping we could do business.

King ➡ Business!? (Laughs) This organization isn’t for people like you. The only reason you’re still alive is because I allow it so and you helped me get rid of a traitor. Don’t push your luck mercenary. Since you have your money, do yourself a favour and disappear and hope that we never cross paths ever again.

Douglas ➡ Speaking of luck, there’s one of your employees that is doing just that.

King ➡ And who might that be?

Douglas ➡ Black Ace’s therapist, I believe his name is Dave.

King ➡ Dave?

Douglas ➡ Yes, I forgot to mention that he was the reason why your precious asset was caught.

King ➡ What are you saying and what does Dave have to do with any of this?

Douglas ➡ Your therapist has taken his time to inject himself into Black Ace’s heart. She’s madly in love with him.

King ➡ You’re making this up? Dave knows his place.

Douglas ➡ Does he? Well, thank goodness, I have proof. Have a look at this pics.

After collecting Douglas’s phone, King becomes shocked as he sees the picture of Dave and Elizabeth sharing a steamy kiss. Anger soon clouds his face but he controls his temper and hands over the phone to Douglas.

King ➡ When was this picture taken?

Douglas ➡ Just seconds before her capture.

King ➡ It seems that I have one more business to give you.

Douglas ➡ Which is?

King ➡ Kill Dave. Kill the b-stard.

Douglas ➡ That’s a tough job. You’re asking me to kill the only man that can tame your asset. Won’t his death cause a huge problem?

For 3 decades Project Genesis had been tested numerously on various human subjects and after so many fails and wasted money, the experiment was finally successful on Black Ace. For years she has been proved that our wasted efforts and time have been for nothing. As our most expensive asset, it is our duty to ensure that nothing conterminates her in any way especially things that makes people vulnerable. For a while I thought I was doing a good job to ensure that but it seems I’ve made a mistake.
Hiring that therapist in the first place was a big mistake. The reason why we hired him was because of his success of taming Black Ace. We thought that once she was fully tamed, we would kill him off but now the b-stard has made things more complicated. A woman’s love is a dangerous one and once she loves a man, there is nothing in this world that she can’t do for him. Only God knows what that therapist has done to make her fall for him. This is a very serious problem that must be attended to with haste. As long as that therapist is alive, this organization is in trouble and if the chair-lady finds out about this, she’s not going to be pleased at all.
After parting ways with Douglas, I made my way back to the organization where I confined myself to my office hoping that the mercenary carries out his job well. Shortly after my arrival, Dr. Chidi made his way into my office looking a bit worried.

Dr. Chidi ➡ King, I just received news that the Chairlady will be coming here in a week.

King ➡ God!! This can’t be.

Dr. Chidi ➡ Is something wrong?

King ➡ Black Ace has been comprised.

Dr. Chidi ➡ Comprised?? How?

King ➡ I just found out that the Therapist we hired for her is..(sighs).. She’s in love with him.

King ➡ I know but don’t worry, I’ve taken care of it.

King ➡ I hired a mercenary to kill Dave.

Dr. Chidi ➡ WHAT!? Do you have any idea what you’ve done?

Dr. Chidi ➡ You have to call this off now! Killing that therapist is a bad idea. You know he’s the only one that can tame Asset X.

King ➡ Oh please. We can hired another one.

Dr. Chidi ➡ Have you forgotten the Therapist that have died in her hands before we got this one!

King ➡ What do you expect me to do?

Dr. Chidi ➡ You realize that killing him will worsen Elizabeth’s mental state. She’ll be worse than before.

King ➡ Tell me, what if the chair-lady hears about this? You know she’ll have our heads for this. I can’t risk losing my life over some romance. We can find ways to tame Black Ace once we clear this b-stard out of the way.

Dr. Chidi ➡ I don’t know King…. (sighs)… I hope this doesn’t turn out bad.

King ➡ It won’t. Just pray that the job gets done. We can then worry about taming Black Ace later.

People say that time flies by really fast as we spend out most treasured or happy moments. Well, they’re right.
It’s been 2 weeks since I got married to Mike but it still feels like it happened yesterday. In all my life, I’ve never felt so happy especially when Mike and I were announced husband and wife. No words could describe the joy surging through me, it was like I was in paradise. The cheerful voices of people and praise of well wishes still rang in my ears whenever I recalled the events of my wedding and as far as I can tell, my new life with Mike will be thrilling.
Shortly after the wedding, Mike insisted that we leave the country for our honeymoon but I refused. Going overseas to spend our honeymoon would be neat but why waste all that money especially when we’re in a place like Abuja. Abuja itself is a nice place to spend a honeymoon, it had everything couples could ever need for a special honeymoon. Eventually Mike agreed to spend our honeymoon in Abuja and it was nice. We went to one of the most exclusive resorts here in Abuja and rented one of their rooms. It was expensive but it didn’t seem to bother Mike. After renting of the the resort rooms, we switched off our phones and enjoyed the company of each other for days. Spending time with Mike at the resort was great but no moment felt more amazing than when we have s-x. The s-x we had was amazing, every night we would make love to each other for at least an hour or two ; of course this was all possible with the help of a little s-x pill boosters. Apart from the s-x part, there were other things that made our honeymoon more exciting.
Considering what I’ve gone through before my marriage with Mike, I tried as much as I could to forget wh@tëver terrible experience I went through especially the one of Black Ace. Being this close to death reminded me of how precious life is and that fact that I only exist once. It wasn’t easy shaking off that feeling and in order to avoid something like that, I decided to retire from police work once I get pregnant. For some time, I was relieved that I would never crossed paths with Black Ace again but somehow Fate managed to make that happen.
So presently here I was with Mike in the resort parking our stuff. We have concluded our honeymoon and so we had to get back to our lives but not as singles but as couples. Neither of us didn’t want this to end but we knew we had responsibilities to take care of.

Ijeoma ➡ Oh, it’s a shame that our fun moments are over. Now it’s back to our busy lives.

Mike ➡ Well, the good thing is we’re now together. We can always find time to enjoy ourselves.

Ijeoma ➡ Knowing you I know that things are going to get wilder at night.

Mike ➡ Of course, you’re my wife now so denial is forbidden.

Ijeoma ➡ Just remember that I’m not a machine. Plus, I need to keep standing straight.

Mike ➡ (laughs) Of course. I know. Oh honey, I’m just glad we’re together. Before long we’ll start expanding our family.

In that moment, Mike pulled me closer to his chest and launched us onto the bed. He mounted on top of me kissing me lustfully while caressing my bre-sts. I knew what he was thinking so I decided to be resistance at least for today.

Ijeoma ➡ Ahhh, Mike. Please stop. Our honeymoon is over. We need to move out.

The reaction I got from Diana was different from the one I was expecting. It was as if she had seen something terrible or tragic. There goes my hopes of surprising her.

Diana ➡ HELLO. IJEOMA! TURN ON THE NEWS.

Ijeoma ➡ Jesus Christ Diana! Relax, what happened?

Diana ➡ Just tune on the NTA news. (ends call)

Mike ➡ What’s wrong? Is everything okay? What did my sister say?

Ijeoma ➡ I don’t know. She said I should just check the news. Excuse me.

One thing I know about Diana is that when she sounds like this, then something bad must have happened. As soon as I got to the flat screen, I turned it on and tuned into the news to see what Diana wanted me to see. By the time I was what was going on, my mouth dropped wide open in shock. Although I was seeing what was happening, I still couldn’t believe it. Mike soon joined me and saw what I saw and he too was shocked. Somehow I had a feeling that it would all come to this.

Mike ➡ My God. Is that….

Ijeoma ➡ Yes.. Oh no.

Mike. ➡ Who did this?

Ijeoma ➡ Isn’t it obvious?

Mike ➡ Whoever did this will meet a terrible and tragic end.
